Help I lost my email after deleting my mail acount

I lost my email after deleting my mail acount there was nothoing in the trash and I have important email whish were in the reception folder. What can I do ? Thanks

It all depends on the type of account and how it was configured. For IMAP-type accounts, mail is stored on the server, and setting up the account again is all that's needed to regain access to your mail.
If you deleted a POP account, however, then all your mail stored locally in that account's mailboxes has certainly been wiped out, not just moved somewhere, and you were warned that this would happen by the following alert:
Remove Account
Are you sure you want to remove the <AccountType> account "<AccountName>"?
This will permanently delete the account setup information, mailboxes, and messages from your computer. Messages stored on the mail server will not be affected.
For each mail account, Mail creates a folder within ~/Library/Mail/ whose name starts with the account type (POP, IMAP, .Mac), followed by the account username and the incoming mail server. Deleting the account causes this folder and everything within it to be deleted as well.
If the POP account was configured to leave mail on the server for some time instead of removing it right away, incoming mail that's still on the server can be downloaded by setting up the account again, just like for IMAP accounts, but keep in mind that this would only work for received (i.e. not sent) mail that has not yet been removed from the server.
If the messages are not on the server, and you don't have a backup, your only option is to try to salvage as many deleted *.emlx files as possible with a data recovery tool such as Data Rescue II, TechTool Pro, or FileSalvage. Of these, the only one I know for sure that can recover deleted *.emlx files is FileSalvage. Stop using your computer right now if you want to try that, as anything you do with the computer may cause the deleted files to be overwritten.

  • Lost Sent Emails after deleting old account

    Hello there.
    What I had and did: I had a .com.ar account (from now on the .AR account) and just bought a .biz domain that I intend to start using from now on.
    Both accounts are hosted by the same people and the .biz will receive the same emails that the .AR can receive. This is, if you send to any of the .AR or .BIZ, I will receive both in my MAC Mail.
    In order for this to happen, I added the .BIZ account to Mac Mail. No problem.
    Then, I made a mistake and deleted the .AR account settings. (I deleted the account with all its settings) When I found out after this, that I couldn´t find my old .AR Sent emails, I tried Re-creating the .AR account in my Mac Mail but ... the sent emails were not there.
    Is there a way to recover those sent emails?
    Thanks for saving my life,
    Julio

    I have added the account again, but only last 2 weeks emails pop back in.
    It’s like a brand new account. No folder, no history.
    It was a pop account and store emails for a long time.
    any advance solution?

  • When can an email address be reactivated after deleted from another acount?

    May I know when can an email address be reactivated after deleted from another acount?
    I am eagar to register an email address, let's say "[email protected]"
    I created this address as an alias email in my original Apple ID + iCloud account. But that is not what I want.
    So I deleted the alias email.
    Register an new Apple ID.
    And then re-register the icloud email address "[email protected]" via the new Apple ID
    But was being rejected. And the reason was that, the address has already be picked up.
    So I would like to know when can an email address be reactivated after deleted from another account.
    Please Help !!

    You can't do what you want.
    Email aliases are forever tied to the account that created them, cannot be moved to another account, and cannot be made into a standalone account.

  • Lost all email gmail deleted by mistake need help thank you

    lost all email gmail messages deleted by mistake need help thank you.

    Mail 2.x doesn’t store mail in standard mbox format. The only way you might find Mail messages in a “recovered” mbox file is if it was a Mail 1.x file that Mail 2.x left there after the conversion to the new *.emlx format when you upgraded from Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier to Mac OS X 10.4.
    If you’re running Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and don’t have a backup, what you should have tried to recover are as many *.emlx files as possible. Data Rescue II may be able to do that, but the documentation doesn’t say so. The only data recovery utility that I know for sure can currently recover deleted *.emlx files is FileSalvage.
    That said, you may still try to import those mbox files as Other (not as Mail for Mac OS X), and hope that they don’t contain garbage that causes Mail to crash — you may look at their contents with a text editor first to check whether there are actually any emails there.
    Beware, however, that anything you do with the computer may cause the deleted *.emlx files to be overwritten if you don’t try to recover them first.

  • Sending email after deleting the records in a table

    Hi
    I am deleting the records in a table. After deleting the records,
    i want to send an email to another person. I am planning to follow this steps.
    1. Create a trigger on the table(AFTER DELETE ON table FOR EACH ROW)
    to copy the deleted records to temporary table.
    2. Read the temporary table and send an email.
    Is there any other way we can do with out creating temporary table ?.
    Govind

    I don't know what you plan to use to send the mail but here's a solution that would work.
    -- Create a send mail procedure
    create or replace procedure send_mail (
    sender      IN VARCHAR2,
    recipient   IN VARCHAR2,
    message     IN VARCHAR2)
    IS
      mailhost VARCHAR2(30) := 'localhost';
      mail_conn utl_smtp.connection;
    BEGIN
    mail_conn :=  utl_smtp.open_connection(mailhost, 25);
      utl_smtp.helo(mail_conn, mailhost);
      utl_smtp.mail(mail_conn, sender);
      utl_smtp.rcpt(mail_conn, recipient);
      utl_smtp.data(mail_conn, message);
      utl_smtp.quit(mail_conn);
    END;
    /-- Create the trigger to email deleted rows
    create or replace trigger email_del_rows
    after delete on <table>
    for each row
    declare
    msg varchar2(2000);
    begin
    msg := 'COL1  COL2  COMPANY NAME  DATE'||chr(10);
    msg := msg||:old.col1||'    '||:old.col2||'    '||:old.company_name||'       '||:old_date|| chr(10);
    msg := msg||'END OF FILE';
    send_mail('SENDER','[email protected]',msg);
    end;
    /You can make it look pretty but you get the basic idea.

  • My email keeps deleting me mail how can i stop this?

    how do i stop my emails from deleting themselves from my mailbox

    If you delete an email from your computer it will be deleted from your iPhone when you next open the iPhone's mail app.
    If you delete an email from your iPhone it will be deleted from your computer when you next open your computer's mail app.
    That is the way the IMAP mail protocol is designed to work. The deleted emails should still be in your Trash folder on your computer, and if you open the Trash folder on your iPhone it should sync.
    If you don't want your emails deleted from iPhone or computer but don't want them in your inbox create a folder on your computer for Saved Mail, and, instead of deleting email, move it to Saved Mail.
    If you don't want it to work this way then delete the mail account and add it back as a POP3 account. POP3 does not sync, but also does not support folders and will require that you delete all emails twice to get rid of them.

  • How can I recuperate my emails after deleting an email account, how can I recuperate my emails after deleting an email account

    I was trying to change my mail account from POP to IMAP. Had to delete the account. After creating the account again, I found out that I lost all my emails files, Inbox, sent items, etc...Is there a solution te recuperate all these emails ??

    Not unless you have backups, or your mail is still on your mail provider's server (check webmail). ALWAYS copy your inbox/sent mails to local folders before you delete a POP mail account from a mail application.

  • Hotmail / MSN email continuously sends me the same email after deleting

    I have an iPhone4 and I have several email account. Only account I have issues with is my MSN email account. I can get new messages just fine however if I delete the email about 2 minutes later I get a "new" email indicator and it happens to be the email I just deleted. Same time stamp and everything. I have my settings to remove from the server when moved from my inbox and also to erase the deleted messages after 1 day. So my settings seem fine but this account is annoying.
    How can I fix this?

    Still waiting to hear from anyone.
    Some of my friends with androids seem to be having the same problem. I've been keeping email's in my inbox for over a week just to delete them. This is getting annoying.

  • Lost all emails after upgrade

    I've just upgraded to Leopard 10.5.6 from an old version of Tiger. In the process I have managed to lose all my emails. I can neither send nor receive emails through Mac Mail, and when I click on the Mail icon in the dock, I can't even see the mailboxes. Any thoughts? I understand that this is a fairly common problem. Do I need to set up Mail again?

    Ernie
    Just tried this. No joy. See below for my notes on your answers
    First let's see if the messages are still there, as I expect. YES Open a POP account folder -- do you find an INBOX.mbox folder, YES and if so, and open it, does it contain anything other than one Info.plist file (might not be there) and one Messages folder? Open the Messages folder -- does it contain a lot of xxxx.emlx files? YES If so, that means the message content is present, and should be retrievable.
    If the various xxxx.mbox folders when observed indicate message content still present, then we can proceed.
    When you upgraded to Leopard, was it immediately the version 10.5.6 -- that is, you never had Leopard running in an earlier version? THAT IS CORRECT
    This is what I understood your first posts to report. If that is the case, make sure to Quit Mail, and then in the Finder drag all the file named to start with MessageRules to the desktop. Now relaunch Mail -- do any messages now display? If so, then you can restore those MessageRule . . . files after quitting Mail. I'VE DONE ALL THAT. ONE FILE IS MARKED MESSAGE RULES AND IT IS NOW ON DESKTOP
    If no message yet display, again quit Mail, open the Mail folder in the Finder again, find the Envelope Index file and drag it to the Desktop (for later deleting probably). AGAIN NOW ON DESKTOP If you have any IMAP account, drag those account folders out of the Mail folder. NOT SURE WHAT AN IMAP ACCOUNT IS - SORRY Relaunch Mail, which should announce it is ready to import your email -- allow that to continue, and it should discover and reindex the message content from all the existing mailboxes.
    Does that make any sense? Any other help would be appreciated.

  • My Hotmail resends email after deleting, Why?

    I've noticed for a while recently that when I recieve email from my hotmail.com account on my iPhone4 and I read and delete it, it is later resent to me. Anyone know why this happening for it becomes annoying after a while. I find myself again deleting the same mail I once read and deleted. Want to note that when I delete it from the "inbox" I then go to "accounts" and delete it from the trash as well. Appreciate if someone can share some knowledge about this issue.

    It sounds like you may be "synced" to an IMAP email server with your ISP.  You would need to go into Mail>Preferences and set the messages to be removed from the IMAP server after some period of time so they don't redownload to your computer.  That's one possiblility.  Another is if you are synced with iCloud, then the mail is stored on your iCloud server backup and will redownload until you remove it.
    Hope this helps

  • How to restore email after deleting from trash

    I have got a mac book air
    I have accidentally put my email into trash and deleted it , how can i restore from my disk

    You can't once you have deleted it from the Trash, I believe. But if you can then see:
    General File Recovery
    If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as MAC Data Recovery, Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro.  Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive.  Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk.  Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads. Recovery software usually provide trial versions that enable you to determine if the software would help before actually paying for it. Beyond this or if the drive has completely failed, then you would need to send the drive to a recovery service which is very expensive.
    The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

  • Lost all Messages after Deleting some.

    Pop account using Mail v2.1 on an iBook G4 OS X (10.4.10) with 640MB Ram belonging to my wife. I'm a PC guy. Thinking of changing to Apple. :=)
    My wife deleted a 'batch' (approx 50)of messages by highlighting them, clicking on Edit, and Delete. When she did that all the messages in that mailbox disappeared. She can still receive emails in that account as the New Message counter still shows when new messages arrive. She cannot see the new messages without doing a Search for them using part of the missing email address. When she does a Search the messages are there. There are 4656 messages found.
    There is a small triangle next to that email account with the missing messages. When the triangle is clicked the triangle rotates, but nothing else shows. Nothing drops down below the account as I think it should. So the account is there, messages come in, the triangle rotates, the messages are not visible in that account without a Search of the Inbox.
    I have attempted to Rebuild that particular mailbox, but the option of doing so is not available. 'Rebuild' is dull for lack of the proper term. She has another mailbox which does have the option to Rebuild so that is available in the program. I did attempt to Rebuild the Inbox under which the two accounts are located. That didn't do any good.
    I attempted to Reindex with no change.
    I ran the Disk Utility with no change.
    When I look in Library, Mail, Pop(account), Inbox I see the messages she deleted. Nothing else. I can read them by double clicking on them which makes them open in Mail.
    If this was a Windows program I'd reinstall it, but Mac programs are usually pretty steady.
    I'm at a loss. The messages seem to be there, but not visible in the mailbox. Any suggestions?
    Aloha

    The problem is probably that the mailbox has lost the .mbox suffix in the filesystem.
    Report the names of the files and folders present at the first level of the ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/ account folder in the Finder.
    In order to post the exact file names and avoid typing mistakes, proceed as follows. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/. With that folder open, if you’re looking at it in View > as List mode, first collapse any expanded folders so that the Finder only shows the files and folders at the first level. Now, do Edit > Select All (⌘A), then Edit > Copy (⌘C), and paste it in your reply to this post.
    You’ll probably see an INBOX folder without the .mbox suffix there. If that’s the case, quit Mail and rename the folder to INBOX.mbox.
    Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.
