Help. I lost my installation disk on my 8330 Curve

I lost my installation disk for my Curve 8330. I've never installed the program into my computer but need to save my info as I'm getting a new Blackberry on Friday and don't want to lose my phone book. Without the disk I can't sync my phone to save the info. What can I do?

Can you be a little more specific? You've already installed on the PC and you get that error when? Have you rebooted your computer? And, crazy question...is the Application Loader running? Did you click on "Application Loader?"

You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.

Ive lost my install disk that came with my laptop and ive also removed safari from my computer as it wasnt working, someone please help me get it back im going nuts.

as Carolyn said - you don't need disks to get Safari... the installer contains the full application & a bunch of 'frameworks' from /System/Library/ too.
Try using http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/ to search for Safari, then with the version number, we might know why the new one won't install.
Or it might be gone, as you say, so failing that - what exactly happens? - you can download but get an error when installing?
anything in the install log of Console? paste it here, just the recent lines.
another option is to grab Pacifist from http://charlessoft.com/ & force the install, but be certain that you get the right version for your OS X.

Got a New Computer.. lost my installation disk

I got a new computer and i want to install my webcam to my computer but the problem is that I lost my istallation disk, so what can I do as I need the disk to install the cam.. Is there a place where I can download the installation software?

Please could someone send me or provide a link to the installation drivers for the 0404 USB for Windows XP? I am really desparate and have looked EVERYWHERE I can think of on the internet with no luck.
History:
I reorganised the cabling around my PC, and in doing so, somehow my USB hub seems to have stopped working. When I plugged my 0404 directly into a USB hub on the PC it didn't recognise it. So I thought I'd uninstall and reinstall the software. Then I realised I had lost my installation CD, and then found that E-MU / Creative websites don't have the original installation drivers that come on the CD on their website. This has completely warped my feelings about this company in one fell swoop. Having been very happy for prob 2 years with the E-MU 0404 to find that they have seemingly intentionally left off these drivers from their site and therefore wasted probably 2 hours of my time in the last 24 hours is maddeningly frustrating.

I have never used driver installation found in original E-MU 0404 CD but only the installation you can download from E-MU support pages (remember allow firmware upgrade as well).jutapa

I lost the installation cd for my ZEN Vision:M 30GB mp3 player. I went to support but I dont know which file to download.

these were my 3 options.

I had the same problem before, but I looked up "<span class="Apple-style-span">creative zen vision m installation cd" on Google.
It was there, should be the 2nd result on the page.
(Or at least the one that says?Creative Zen Vision:M Install CD?- FileFront.com?)
Also, as soon as I burned this to a CD, I found my original CD somewhere right after, used up a CD-R, but it's fine.
(If this is illegal, I am sorry,
but when you can't find your CD, it's really aggravating to not be able to install it on a new computer.)?

I've gotten a new computer and to transfer music over to my mp3 player ( Creative zen touch) I need to install the CD that came with the player. I lost the CD, so my question is: Can I buy a new one, download the program of the net or is there no way to get hold of a installation CD.

When I posted this, there were no replies whatsoever shown after the OP here; nor any on the Context index page.
This is a significant, most irritating time waster.

I just recently bought my friend's iMac 10,1 21.5in with all of his documents in it He lost his installer disks and it has OS X Snow Leopard. How can I restore it to factory settings? Or can I buy OS X Lion online and restore it to factory settings?

Sooner or later, you will need to have those install disks, so you or your friend need to call Apple, give them the serial number of the machine and ask for replacement disks which should be sent out for a nominal fee. Other than that, you could also buy Snow Leopard retail disk at various resellers or Apple store online for $29.
You will need that disk because: if you want to update to Lion and you purchase it at the app store, the license for it is not transferable, so if you ever sell that Mac, you are required to uninstall Lion and reinstall the original system (which you will need the disks for). The disks also include diagnostic/repair software.
So, it's best to have the disks; and, if you do purchase and install Lion, make sure you make a complete backup - bootable clone or Time Machine just in case.

Help. Lost my hard disk icon

I was foolishly cleaning my key board with my computer on when I seemed to have done something to have made the icon for my PowerBook's hard disk icon to have disappeared. I've tried zapping the P-Ram, booting from an external hard disk and running Disk First Aid and running a search to see if the icon got accidently put into a folder somewhere. No luck. I am able to get into my files by going down to the dock and clicking on the two faces icon which brings up a window that shows my hard disk. But I can't seem to get the icon to appear on the desktop. Any ideas?

Try going to the Finder menu item "Finder" and select Preferences. Verify that in the General section the box is checked to Show Hard disks on the Desktop.

Lost my installation Disk: How to restore my Snow Leopard to last month's system ?

I am on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 but have llost my Installation DVD that comes with it.
My system is now messed up and I want to restore it back to last month's status. I have Time Machine which I backup every month.
How do I restore without the Installation DVD which I have misplaced ?

Lion never came on a DVD. Snow Leopard was the last OSX version shipped on DVD.
OSX DVDs the shipped with different Mac models, prior to Lion, are model number specific. You need to order a replacement set of DVDs that match your specific model.
Command-C boots to the CD/DVD drive, hence the letter, "C."
Command-R boots to the Recovery partition, hence the letter, "R."
Only Lion, Mountain Lion, and Mavericks have Recovery partitions.
Then this is good news. The disc that I have must be for Snow Leopard then.
I found 2 DVDs.
One says:
Mac OS X Install DVD
and the other:
Application Install DVD
Which one shall I insert into the CD drive ?

I brought adobe photoshop elements 9 in May 2011, installed in onto my laptop with good intentions to use it but no idea how to. I decided to enroll in a photoshop course but in the meantime had my laptop de-cluttered, to which elements 9 was deleted, and have lost the installation disk while moving house. i have been told if i download a free 30 day trial i can enter my serial number after the 30 days has finished but now elements 10 is out i cant find a 30 day trial. please help in desperate need to finish my course !!!
