Help!!! I lost my phone!!!
okay so i lost my iphone a day ago and i cant find it, i would use the findmy iphone app but i turned it off on my phone so i could reboot it and i forgot to turn i back on so when i tried to find it using my moms iphone app it said like i wasnt connected to icloud!? What should i do???

You did not accidentally "back up" your phone. A backup is the process of making a copy of the data on a device for use in data recovery. What you did was "restore" to your phone a backup that had been previously made of someone else's device.
You need to force the phone into recovery mode (google is your friend) and restore it as a NEW device. Then either restore it from YOUR backup, or set it up as a new phone. -
Please help. I lost my i phone 4 and have now received my new SIM. My friend has kindly lent me her old i phone 3 until I get another phone. The problem is that I got a new laptop at Christmas and never connected my old phone to it before I lost it.
Ive downloaded i tunes onto the new laptop and connected the i phone 3 but all the info from my old phone is not there (numbers, music etc)
Is there anyway I can retrieve the info and transfer it to the i p hone 3?Look. It doesn't matter how many times you repeat yourself. The answer is the same. The only way you're going to find it is by getting up off your backside and looking for it. Why you're so concerned, I'm not sure. If you find it, you will just have to turn it (or the replacement) over to the insurance company. Unless it's your intent to commit fraud...

Please help i lost my phone and forgot my bbid password
Dear anyone, I've been lost my bb devices a few days ago, and now im having a new bb devices. The problem is, i've been registered my BBID (in my lost devices) using the service provider email account ([email protected]), and now i can't login because i forgot the password, i have tried so many ways but still can't login to my BBID and reset the password either. Can anyone help me with this??? thanks in advance

In this scenario, since the answer is unknown, the steps below cannot be completed and the only possible option is to create a new BlackBerry ID and then switch the BlackBerry ID account being used on the device. I would go to www.bbid.com and see if you can reset the password there. If it asks your security question there and you don't know the answer then you'll need to create a new BBID as there is no way to recover it just as the note above says.

After downloading 5.0.1 to my Phone, I lost my music on the
phone. Syncing on different ways didn't help. On the phone , in STORE, misses in Automatic downloads: Music!
Is that part of the problem? Or is 5.0.1.not corrt?Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Need help finding a lost i phone
I'm trying to set up the "find my phone". My daughter lost her phone. The phone is set up on my apple id so that I can monitor what she downloads. I need to set up the "find my phone" So questions are: 1- if I download the app "find my phone" on my phone, since we have the same apple id, will it download to her phone as well? If so...Question 2- it keeps telling me I need to set up an @icloud.com. My log in is my gmail account. If I change to log in with @icloud.com, will I still be able to use the "find my phone" on the other device or will I have to set up a new log in. All I want to do is figure out if we can locate the phone. Help if you can.
If she's already lost the phone, then you're too late to set up Find my iPhone now.
It has to be done, on the device BEFORE it is lost or stolen. -

Did you have Find My iPhone enabled on your iPhone in its settings? If so, go to www.icloud.com and use your Apple iCloud ID to use the Find My iPhone app.

If no Protect or other application (such as SmrtGuard) are installed, SHE needs to call her mobile provider and have the SIM card blocked so no fraudulent charges can be made to her account.
She can ask that her IEMI be blocked due to loss of the device, some carriers will do this, most will not.

You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely. -

Contact your carrier to report your iPhone as lost or stolen, and if you didn't have the Passcode Lock feature enabled, change the password for every email account you were accessing with the iPhone's Mail app.

With iOS6, iPhone and iPad users will see that their Send & Receive iMessage settings have updated across their devices to be made available at both phone numbers and email addresses. You may have also seen alerts on one or more of your devices advising that another device is now using the same Apple ID/phone number for iMessage.
Being able to be reached on iMessage on both Apple ID and phone numbers across devices means that iMessage can keep the same thread and sync across devices.
Due to having 2 iPhones on different phone numbers running along side my iPad at one time, (whilst I was waiting for my phone number to be moved to a new provider), my iMessage settings on my iPad lost my phone number completely. I thought I would document the steps to recover this for anyone in the same boat.
1. Check that you are signed in with the same iCloud Account on both iPad and iPhone.
2. Turn off iMessage on your iPad from Settings > Messages.
3. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. You should see your phone number and your iCloud email address in the 'Your can be reached by iMessage at:' list. Make sure both are ticked.
4. At this point, I synced my iPhone with iTunes, then synced my iPad with iTunes.
5. On your iPad, turn iMessage back on - your phone number should now show in the 'You can be reached by iMessage at:' list. Tick the phone number. You should receive an alert on your iPhone.
This should resolve the issue.
With the above set up and with the iOS 6 updates, iMessage should now sync fine across devices however I have still found the most successful way to run iMessage is to always start new conversations from your Apple ID and to start new threads by addressing the first message to an Apple ID from an Apple ID.
To do this, go to Settings > iMessage > Send & Receive and tick your Apple ID in the 'Start new conversations from:' list, then start a new iMessage thread to the recipients Apple ID. This way, the thread will sync across iPad and iPhone. Note that a thread set up this way will not fall back on SMS, so you get a clean iMessage thread. This method also worked/works on iOS 5, as long as you send the first message of a new thread from an iPad (which can only send via Apple ID) to an Apple ID.

I Lost my phone at the office building with more than 10different company and thousands of employees. since no one returned the phone and the device was already turned off i tried logging in and use find my iphone to send a message. But after days since no one is returning it i tried putting passcode on lock mode... And who would have thought that after a week someone will call me and told me that she will return the phone. But unfortunately i forgot the lock code so i cant use it. I dont want to restore it since my photos and videos are not sync to my itunes. if only theres a way that it would only just require my apple id and not the 4 digit code
There's no way to unlock it without restoring it.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

Help with lost Droid MAXX. Lost it a week ago while I had it turned off, I cannot track it until it is turned on. Is there anyway to remotely turn on the device?
Have you tried randomly using Google - Device Manager? Though it will not track the Droid Maxx when it's turned off. It will show the last time the phone was turned on. To see if that coincides with the last time you had the phone on.
