Help: I'm searching for a STB to test my Xlet

Hi everyone, i'm writing here because i need some help.
I'm an italian student and i developed my xlet application using the xleTView emulator. So, now i want to put my app in a real set top box, but I have two problems:
1. I have to buy a STB but I don't know which
2. I don't know how to upload my xlet into a stb
I need a MHP 1.1 stb, so somebody could help me?

Help will not search for search term

CS6, Windows XP. When accessing online help for CS6 applications, InDesign for example, InDesign Help / Help and Tutorials screen comes up. There is a box, Adobe Community Help with space for a search term and magnifying glass icon and the icon of the application for which I want help. When I type in the search term and click on the magnifying glass or hit Enter, nothing happens. Help does not search for term in question. What am I missing?

Default selection of dropdown value help in bp search for custom field

Hi guys,
i've problem setting a default selection of the value help. I appended a structure containing a field of type CRMT_BOOLEAN to the crmt_bupa_il_header_search and show it at the bp search page.
The default order of the value help is
[ ] false
[x] true
which means that the first entry (false) is selected by default. I want the second entry to become the default entry. I tried to sort the ddlb_table of this field in the get_v_xxx but this didn't had any effect to the value help.

Is this approach not working at all? After sorting lt_bblb contains the values in correct sequence, the webui is showing the value help as before.

what i understand is you want to set the default entry is second value right?
if this is your requirement then go for this procedure.
In redefine do_init_context method and fetch the collection in that collection get your field name and value.
make a condition like this if the value = 'first value of your drop down' then set to second value.
this method will execute only in the initial stage means when ever you login into your business role this method will execute.
example:
lr_col ?= me->typed_context->yournode->collection_wrapper->get_current( ).
check lr_col is bound.
lr_col->get_property_as_string( EXPORTING iv_attr_name = 'DROPDONWFIELD' RECEIVING rv_result = lv_dropdownfield ).
if lv_dropdownfield EQ 'FIRSTFIELDKEY'.
lv_dropdownfield = 'SECONDFIELDKEY'.

Hello everybody,
I have a problem like this:
Assume i type a sentence from keyboard: "I want to play football"
And computer will look for the word "football" to see if this word is in that sentence.
In this case, computer found it.
That is it ! Could anybody help me about this ?

Use the String.indexOf() method:
String original = "I want to play football";
int result = original.indexOf("football");
if (result != -1)
System.out.println("computer found it");
If the word "football" is in the original String, the indexOf() method will return the index of the word. If it does not find the word "football", it will return a value of -1. The String API is full of useful methods.

Searching for a term using the Search tab in HTML Help doesn't find all relevant topics.

I'm using the Search tab in the HTML Help window to search for a few words. But those words are not being located within the topics. For example, one of the words for which I am searching is Australian. I can find the topic that contains that word using the Contents tab. But the Search tab doesn't find it. I have even tried copying the word from that topic into the Search box but it is not found.
Is there a known bug in HTML Help search capabilities?

Is this a stand alone CHM file or is it merged? If it is merged, does the word appear in the search in the CHM containing the topic is searched? I assume you've checked that your Stop List doesn't contain the word being searched?

Help re: special effect for gallery

I need to look for.
I need to create an image gallery that (i'll try to explain)
The images need to be upright - and on an invisible wheel -
rotating. Sort of the position slides would be in a projectors
slide machine. The front image would be facing the viewer and the
rest on the invisible wheel at an angle, side on. The images can be
clicked from the wheel and there needs to be forward and back
functions to scroll through the images.
I have seen this done but cannot for the life of me find it.

"Search for text" Zooms when number keys pressed. Expecting it to FIND text

For months I have been using (&relying on) the "search for text when I start typing " feature.
I am a school teacher & this helps me to search for students & record scores in an online grading program.
The "search for text when I start typing feature" stopped working two days ago.
Before, whenever I typed the "Find" box immediately opened up, searched the screen,
and highlighted whatever I had just typed. Now, when I enter a "1", "2" , "6" , "9" or "0" (zero)
the find box does not come up- so this disrupts all the grade recording process for me.
Instead, when I type in 6 or 9 (it zooms in the screen instead), 0 (it zooms out instead) and I cannot tell what happens
when I type in 1 or 2 (nothing appears to happen- but no "Find" box comes up.

I tried restarting Firefox and turning on/off the Advanced feature ( "search for text when I start typing feature")
but it did not help. I am using a Mac. I also tried using an external keyboard/keypad but the exact same
results occur.

The keyboard shortcut for resetting the zoom level is Command+0, so seeing that kind of response implies that Firefox is misreading the state of the Command key, thinking it is stuck down. Usually tapping the key numerous times will send a signal to all programs that the key has been released (at least on Windows).
On the other hand, in that case, Command+6 should jump to the sixth tab in the current window, it shouldn't change the zoom level. So... hmm...
In case a component of the OS has malfunctioned, have you already tried shutting down the system completely and then starting it up again?

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

Hi I have copied over my iTunes to a new PC and now there are songs missing and when try to re download on iTunes it says play. When you hit play it sends you off to search for a file that doesn't exist. When syncing it says 100 issues Help please

I have just put my iTunes on a new laptop by hard drive method and some songs are not there. When I go into iTunes it's doesn't say download or purchase it says play.
So you press play and it opens a separate box saying search for file which isn't there.
I have read tons of stuff re this but still not got it fixed. It's not a HD issue because iTunes won't let me download it why ?

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are unable to download the purchases from your purchase history, because iTunes believes the songs to be in your library. It may be necessary to delete the items from your library, then re-download from your purchase history. Before doing so, you may want to take note of which song are available for re-download:

Help!! I recently erased my settings and after backing up via iCloud, I cannot open some apps. They look as if they are updating, but I cannot delete them. I can open them if I go through the app store and search for the app and click "open." what do I do

I can't seem to figure out why I can't delete and redownload my apps. I'm very confused. I've tried turning my phone on and off, and doing a soft reset.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

How do I search for a phrase in a published Help?

This is probably a very basic question, but I've been unable
to search for a phrase in a published Help. For instance, if I want
to search for the phrase:
subject information, I've tried "subject information",
(subject information), subject NEAR information. I've received the
same list of "hits" for all of these, but when I search for the
phrase in any of the topics, it doesn't seem to exist.
I am using Adobe RoboHelp HTML 6 and use the WebHelp layout.

Basically you have two options.
1] Use ZoomSearch as described on my site. It is low cost and
gives much improved search options.
2] Upgrade to RH8 as that introduced phrase searching in

Im trying to make a script really similar what was asked here: Re: Find text in webpage and email notification applescript/automator Except instead of searching the "source code" of the page, I want the script to search the "DOM tree" for the page.

Searching for Network / SIM card blocked - help please!!

I have just purchased an 8700c from a reputable eBay seller from whom I have previously purchased other items.
The 8700c was advertised as Unlocked without a SIM card.
I have never owned a Blackberry before and am just getting familiar with it.
When I click icon to 'Turn Wireless On' and press the Phone key then at top of screen displays "Searching for Network".
After a minute or so displays "No Service".
I bought the 8700c because one day my previous mobile phone did exactly the same thing.
After an hour on my landline phone with the phone company they assured me the GSM network was functional in my area and suggested my old phone was faulty.
Not knowing if the phone itself had just died or if fault was with the SIM card I took it to the local branch of the telco.
One of the guys there swapped his SIM card into my phone and had same problem - hence phone faulty.
Thinking about it later I realised that it didn't prove there wasn't also a problem with my SIM card but I thought it unlikely so decided to buy a new phone.
Anyway, received the 8700c yesterday and have inserted my old SIM card, been reading manual, etc.
Whilst learning how to use it I've been asked several times to enter a password.
Assuming this was the PIN/password I had on my old phone to prevent use in case I lost the phone, I entered it and it was accepted without any error/warning.
So I thought I was right in believing the PIN/password was stored on the SIM and not another code, maybe in some EPROM memory in the old phone - I'm not so sure now.
Doing a Google search I've found mention of various PIN/PIN2/PUK/PUK2 codes used in mobile phones which, if not used correctly, can cause the phone to be locked permanently.
Here's current information I've found on the 8700c:

      PIN:      {8 alphanumeric code}
      IMEI:     { 6 digits .00. 6 digits .5}      i.e 15 digits and 3 periods
click icon Settings / Options / Advanced Options / SIM Card shows
      SIM Card: Blocked

      My Number: Unknown
click again to see list of items, scroll down to Options
click again to see list of items headed Phone Options
click on General Options
the 'Show "My Number":' line has value Yes
click icon Settings / Options / Network shows
      Network: * None *
      Network Selection Mode: Automatic
click again to see list of items, scroll to My Preferred Network List
click again to see one item which is GSM network associated with my old phone
So it seems this has been found from the SIM card.
The top left hand side of screen shows 'cingular' but I think I read somewhere that this was just the network for which the 8700c was originally issued and doesn't detemine whether the 8700c is currently locked/unlocked.
Is 'My Number' Unknown because the SIM card is Blocked?
Is the SIM card Blocked because I entered my old PIN password instead of the Settings / Options / Status alphanumeric code PIN or some other PIN?
How can I determine if the 8700c is really unlocked?
Are there some other settings/options or anything else I should do so I can get connected to the network?
Any thoughts would be very welcome.

I am having exactly the same problem mate. Never used a Blackberry - received mine today from eBay (Didn't include a manual) and i have been trying to configure it with no luck. I can't connect to a Network/My SIM Card is blocked/My number is unknown - Even though my SIM works perfectly in my Sony Ericsson. Have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
