Help! I managed to create 4 libraries in Aperture!

I am a total Mac newbie. I downloaded the Aperture trial and just purchased the program. Installed it and tried to move the Trial Library and the iPhoto libraries and now have duplicate libraries.
I want to migrate from iPhoto to Aperture...there is no reason to keep iPhoto right?
So...how do I fix my libraries?

Until you get more familiar with Aperture i suggest you keep iPhoto. It sounds like you may not have a lot of images to work on. Because Aperture is a bit of a minefield to begin with, and it takes a while to gain the knowledge.
It is a simple matter to delete the unwanted libraries. However you need to be sure about how you did the import to Aperture. If you made the choice to leave the master images in iPhoto then it is safe to use the Finder, get to the Pictures Folder, highlight Aperture then click the drop down window to reveal some options, one of which is Delete. Delete managed images and they are gone for ever.
If the images are still Viewable in iPhoto its a good bet they are referenced.
You also get a badge on the bottom of the images in Aperture telling they are referenced files. Try hitting the U or Y key, the show or hide image information but this is customisable. Allan

As for as I know, it stands for Aperture Library. Such a library is a package of many files and folders, and complex in structure.

How do I use copyprofile, image manager and create a wim file to Sysprep a reference Windows 8 computer.

Im trying to deploy a reference machine (configured) to other machines (exact or close image) with different hardware.
I have successfully used sysprep in out of the box, generalise, shutdown mode although i havent tried to deploy this to another device. Unfortunately it doesnt copy the profile to default.
I understand that I have to create an answer file using image manager based on that image, save it to a usb drive and attach this in the sysprep command line when sysprepping it.
My problem is I dont know how to easily capture an image of windows 8 into a wim file so that i can add this into image manager to create a answer file. Im also not sure what I have to do in image manager, is it a simple matter of creating and saving
the answer file or do i have to configure it to copy the profile specifically (theres only one account anyhow).
I also want to know if i have to attach the drivers or are all the standard drivers put into the sysprep image as standard. I would like the machine to be an exactly replica, same as doing a clone (but with the drivers for the new machine installed
so it will boot) same as doing a clone and then repair? If thats possible.
Any specific instructions on this would be helpful. I have read the microsft links but they are somewhat confusing.

How can I create multiple libraries on a windows 8 HP computer?

I just got the newest generation Ipod Touch, and the itunes is not supported on my iMac G5. My parents have a Windows 8 HP computer. My dad's itunes account is on that computer. So what I want to do is use my external hardrive to sync it to my Windows 8 computer. I am trying to find out how to create multiple libraries.
Please help me out.

Correct. If you do not have an iOS device or a Mac running Mavericks, do not buy Apple iBooks. They will be unreadable.

By using Service Desk scenario of Solution Manager you can convert an issue to an OSS message and follow it up.

Help needed when dynamically creating new stage sprites

I'm in the process of creating a Director piece that involves

having to drag "shapes" onto a pre-defined grid [drag and
drop style] --
there are currently three different types of shape that can

which many of the shapes can be of the same type. So I need

drop as many as they wish to the girded area.
I've written the drag and drop routine but now having
difficulty in
producing the dynamic creation of a new draggable shape; so
far I've managed
to create a new "shape" sprite from my cast library and
placed it in the
correct location. Then I create and add a new instance of my
"Drag and Drop"
behaviour onto the newly created sprite, but this is where it
goes wrong --
although I can drag the dynamically created sprite, once
dropped Director
complains of not knowing what its local properties are, for
example I'm
unable to reference the locH and locV of the newly created
sprite!
I'm really at a loss on this one and would appreciate any
kind of guidance!

That being said, you start by creating a list of projects on which you are working (with their associated urls) in a .projects.gws file in the desired "workspace" folder:

Then you can update your repository with:
gws update
That will clone the repositories which don't exist yet. Then you just have to hack as usual in your repositories. After a long day of coding, you probably didn't remember which repositories have changed, which where pushed and so on. This is where the principal command shows up:
gws
It displays (see screenshots below) the state of each repository, allowing you to take action for repositories you think that need it.
You can also share the projects file to have exactly the same folder structure in all your computers for instance. But there is also some other functionalities, like an ignore file and a check command. Have a look at the README to get started.

If you want to try, I just added a new functionality: `fetch`, that do a `git fetch` before showing the status of all repositories. For me it is useful when I am going to take the train and I want to be sure to have the latest code on my laptop. Creating separate libraries on separate computers

I have master library on an external HDD. I have a macbook Pro and also a PC laptop. I would like to have music on each of these. Preferably, I would like only a portion of my full music, to save space. I would like to sync my Ipod to one or both of these laptops, as I use my Macbook at home, and the PC for travel. I would like to be able to add, burn, and manage the music on each cpu, from that respective cpu.

I installed Crystal report 9 developer edition on web server but I found I don't have any Crystal report related DLL in assymbly folder and not managed folder created under C:\Program Files\Common Files\CrystalDesion\2.0\ folder.
My server running .NET Framework 1.1.

CR 9 has been out of support for way too long. I don't remember the directory structure for CR 9. What is hte issue you are actually getting?
Was the framework installed after or before CR 9?

Update created two libraries, which do I keep

Hi all, just trying to get my bearings with the new iMovie. I was previously using iMovie 9.0.9. I just got a new Macbook Pro and am now on 10.0.6. After transferring my events and projects over, when opening iMovie it said they needed to be update. I clicked ok. First thing I noticed is that it warned me that some of the media couldn't be found, but then I can't find anywhere where there's missing media. Does it not flag that in anyway? But on to my real question...
It's now created two libraries. One says "iMovie Library" the other says "iMove Library 1" seemingly a duplicate. I'm curious which one I'm to be using, if I can get rid of one, etc. I'm staying on this machine in the new iMovie so won't need to edit in the old version. Furthermore, when I go click "new movie" it's asking me what Event to put the new movie in, as if I can't create a new event with that movie. That seems odd to me...a new movie seems like it would be it's own event. Also, it gives me options to save this movie into events in both libraries.
So, I'm pretty confused. The iMovie I came from seemed pretty straight forward. This one has me stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, so just a bit of background. I previously stored my "movies" on an external, to save space on HD. Projects were on my HD, but it referenced source material, the footage, from my external. After looking more closely, it looks like "iMovie Library" was created on my Macbook Pro HD, but "iMovie Library 1" was created on my external. Not sure why that would be. And one is much larger than the other. Is this based on the footage? I'm just confused why two were created. Here's an image:
In this image, you can see in the 2008 and 2007 folders there there's a "Barcelona - Paris 2" in 08 and a "Barcelona - Paris" in 07. I've scrubbed through, it's the same footage.
I've noticed that "iMovie Library 1" on the external is 17.02 GB (which I'm thinking it should be b/c that's where I stored all of my footage) and on my MBP HD "iMovie Library" is 2.38 GB.
I guess I'm just trying to streamline. As I look in my sidebar, it's just crowded and not very intuitive in terms of easily identifying. The 2 libraries seems redundant, I'm just trying to get it to a point where it looks less messy, everything is located in one library, and it seems straight-forward...which I guess is what Apple tries to achieve with most things. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Me and my cousin use the same computer for iTunes, and so we create different libraries for our music by holding shift down after you click the iTunes desktop icon. I quit iTunes normally. I went back in and held shift down and went to go into my library, but when i got there the icon "iTunes Library" was missing. I have no idea how to get it back or restore it. This has been happening for a while and we just keep creating new libraries. I have tried emailing Apple Support with no response. I really need help because this is becoming a big problem and its very annoying. Please help if you can, i would really appreciate it.

It would be much easier if you simply created a new computer login account for you or your cousing then you won't have to Shift launch iTunes to get your own library.

Safe to delete a "List Template" that has been used to create several libraries?

In SharePoint 2010, is it safe to delete a "List Template" from the Gallery that has been used to create several libraries? I have a user that has requested the template be deleted. But he has used the template to create several active
libraries that he needs to keep. I wanted to make sure there will be no impact to those libraries and associated workflow, etc...

Libraries created from a template are not tied to the template, so the template can be removed if it is no longer required. The same holds true for Site Templates.
Yes, the template can be removed.
One more thing, if you dont want delete the List template or having some fear than you can hide it from UI. in Template just hide it.

Not easy unless you're just content with adding some files to the other as new files but lose playlists for those files, and playcount, and ratings, etc. If you're okay with that, you can drag the media folder from one library to the other. If you use default settings and want to duplicate the media, just drag it. If you want to add the media but leave it where it is currently located, hold down the option key while dragging to the library window.

You don't say what your problem is, so it is kind of difficult to help.
As a guess, I would say that your code only inserts rows for Wednesdays. TO_CHAR(date, 'DAY') returns a string padded with spaces to the length of the longest day name, in English, that is Wednesday (9 characters).
