You can download Cisco Connect Software from http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/valet/M10. Click on the Download tab and select the hardware version. Once downloaded, reset the router and run the downloaded Cisco Connect.

Help needed on installation of Oracle 9i EE on Sun Solaris 8. The problem I met was: we followed the installation guide from the documentation. And we selected the choice "install software only". After it was done successfully, we run Database Configuration Assistant utility to create a database instance. But finally it always tried to create the instance at the root directory ( / ) which doesn't have enough space and then failed. The case was that we have set the enviroment parameters: $ORACLE_BASE = /export/mydata, $ORACLE_HOME = /export/apps/oracle9i. That means it should be installed at /export/mydata, but it didn't. Any help or advice are welcome. Thanks.

I have downloaded Oracle 11G R2 version from Windows and extracted it in Windows and copied it into DVD after extraction in two folders. Now I am mounting that DVD in Solaris 10 installed in my VMware . I made a new directory named as 'installation ' under /export/home/oracle and copied the folders from DVD to 'installation' folder. Now I am entering installation folder and try to do ./runInstaller as 'oracle ' user and getting the error mentioned before.

Seems like some who have tried two devices on the JMICRON IDE port have had trouble. Try without the hard drive and see if you get that error. If that is the case I would try a PATA to SATA converter for your hard drive and connect it to one of the Intel SATA Ports.

I previously had a problem with my Laptop dying randomly you can read about it in the thread entitled Computer dies Randomly (Battery also dead) click to view
Before I realised the solutions, I thought that maybe my Laptop had become infected with a Virus and decided it would be prudent to do a clean install of the Windows XP operating system.
Everything went perfectly and thought a clean install was a good opportunity to download the “XP Service Pack 3” SP3 and did so, it seemed very quiet though and that’s when I realised I had no sound…
I downloaded all of the sound drivers I could find on the Lenovo site for 3000 N100 (I knew from previous experience that the “SOUNDMAX” driver is the only one that actually works with this 3000 N100) in order to install this you have to install the Realtek HD audio driver, but in order to install that you have to install some other Driver/Soft that only works with SP1 or SP2 if you try to install it with SP3 it will say that you don’t need the file as your Service pack is newer than the file you want to install, this is understandable as SP3 is not final as of yet (but it’s good to know).
My next problem was that my extra RAM was not detected, this was fixed by updating the BIOS, after installing all of the System updates, PC Doctor, everything I could find for 3000 N100 I decided to rest, I pushed the Lenovo care button and it did not work, I found a hot key driver and installed it but still the Lenovo care button does not work, previously when I pushed this button it would bring up the Lenovo menu but now it’s just a dead button, Does anyone know how to get this button working again?
I am pretty sure that everything else is working fine now, just that button not working is very annoying, is there a set routing of installs you must do to get everything working, i.e. bios 1st audio 2nd system update 3rd etc...

Ok first everything works now... except the Lenovo Care button, I just posted the other stuff cause it might help other members, I have searched the forum for an anwser to this problem but there was only one anwser (suggesting to uninstall the driver restart and re-install it) and it did not result in a working Lenovo Care button...
I don't beleive the Lenovo keyboad drivers are in any way related to the Service pack 3 as they do not use the Service pack files, to back this up I also had the same problem when Service Pack 2 was installed...
The Lenovo Care button works fine on Boot up screen to access the rescue and recovery software (So the mechanics of the button are fine) but once Windows XP loads it is just a dead button, I remember it used to open up the Lenovo Care Start bar, I got it working once in the past but I can't remember what I did, I thought someone here might know the anwser...

I understand that you need assistance with the installation of Norton Antivirus that you received with the purchase of an HP 16gb Pendrive. Did you get the Pendrive with a computer or just purchase the Pendrive on its own?

Well, what you can do is now is ignoring the WQHL pop-up window and choose the "install anyway" option during the installation of the soundcard driver, since WQHL only means the driver is tested by Microsoft and nothing more; drivers without the WQHL qualification does not mean they are bad drivers, they usually works as good as the WQHL ones.
Ofcourse you can also download the official drivers for the mentioned Soundblaster li've 24bit at Creative Labs support/download site.

Help I need to locate a driver for my soundblaster live 24 bit soundcard

My son has been given the following PC games for christmas:-
Command & Conquer 3,
Command & Conquer Red Alert 3,
Arma; Armed Assault,
Medal of Honour: Airborne
The problem he is having installing these 4 games is this. About half way through installation an error message appears that quite simply states "The software you are installing does not bear a WHQL signed driver. This software will not be installed".
The PC we are running is a Dell Dimension 900, that we purchased about 4 years ago, and it was bespoke.
I have run DxDiagnostics and it tells me that the driver for the graphics card is called p7.sys and the sound card are not WHQL logo'd, so how the hell do i download a driver for my soundblaster Li've 24 bit, that does? bear a digital signatre that is WHQL Logo'd. I hope you can help, me please.

Help, Adobe won't, installer issue

Ok I purchaseed cs4 web Premium dowload, I run the installer assuming wou;d install all the probucts when I discovered Soundbooth was missing, I ran the installer again and discover Soundbooth wasn't not as default, now the only problem was the check box for both Sound and the speech files are deactived
So I contact adobe and I get a lecture about Having previous vversion of sound booth, I TOLD THEM i have never had sound booth before.
so just to prove them to them, I removed CS4 and ran the clean script which found no soundbooth.
So I report my finding , and they close my case.
So I wondering if any help to offer me.
if any one know a way to get around the installer , letting install it directedly by the msi file, that would work.

It's unlikely, and now obvious, that a redownload would solve this issue. If it were a corrupted download, I'd expect to see an error during the installation and not this inactive state.
The inactive state of a program in the installer usually occurs when the installer thinks that program or component is already installed. Since that's not the case, and the Cleaner script didn't help, we need to dig a little deeper and see what other information we can find.
Probably the best step we can take is to look at the installation logfiles. On Windows, you'll find them located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\ If you can locate each of the Web Premium installation logfiles here and send them in an e-mail to me at [email protected], I'll try to find what's happening. If I'm not able to decipher them - which is certainly possible as they're REALLY detailed - I'll forward it to a member of our installer team who can help diagnose this issue.

Then select "Add a Mail Account and click create
Then go to google for the settings you need:
