Help! I need to highlight a button and make the rest of the buttons fade back with white opacity
Hi! I'm making a website in flash, inspired from this site : http://www.heyerdahlhandel.no
I've done mouseover so that when you go over a circle you can see full text in the middle,
but I don't know how to make the other "buttons"/circles fade white when I have my mouse over one of the circles.

fade/tween using actionscript you'll want to use a tween class. tweenlite is easier to use and far more powerful that flash'es Tween class. go to: greensock.com
and get his tweenlite. copy some examples and you should be able to tween all sorts of things in no time.

And a further hint. Indesign does not have a black and white or grayscale working colorspace, so you never truly have a black and white layout, though all of the objects in the file may use only black ink. You can, however, output a PDF, in a couple of ways, that will convert your color file to one that uses only black. -
How do I add multiple songs to an existing playlist from the (no longer called) Library? Highlighting multiple songs and clicking the "Add to" button will only add the one with the little arrow, not all the highlighted ones! I am using the "new" iTunes.
For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud." -
The Iphone 4 patch IOS 7.6 is suppose to be a security update but it freezes the phone and doesn't reset. Help I need my phone. What makes the phone go back to normal? There is nothing but a simulated plug in wire and an ITunes icon on a black screen.

you can't add or mofidy partition numbers. especially not if and once you have windows installed.

Paragon CampTune
Paragon CampTune is a commercial product that is designed expressly for this task. http://www.paragon-software.com/home/camptune/ It consists of a downloadable ISO that needs to be burned to a disc and booted from in order to resize the partitions costs US$19.95.
Securing Dual-System Configuration
Imaging is still the most affordable and robust way to secure computer data. Unfortunately Mac OS X backs up only HFS+ volumes, leaving Windows with dual-system configurations unsecured. You can permanently lose all of your data unless you have a Windows-compatible backup solution.
Paragon’s CampTune and Paragon’s Drive Copy for Mac can secure the entire dual-system configuration. CampTune creates traditional images of volumes or entire hard disks, Drive Copy can copy them to other disks. In case of an emergency, you can restore the previously created image or copy all your data back to its original state.
GParted Live
GParted Live is similar to CampTune as it is also distributed as a bootable image that needs to be copied to a CD/DVD or USB flash drive. As free and open source software, distributed under the GPL, it will always be available free. Since it has more functions than CampTune, it may be harder for folks who are not as experienced with partitioning hard drives. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/
iPartition
Coriolis Systems' iPartition is a £29.95 ($44.95 US) utility that runs in Mac OS X and allows resizing of all of the relevant partition formats, including HFS+, FAT32, and NTFS. It provides a Mac-oriented user interface that may be easier to manage than some of the free utilities. As it is not capable of resizing the boot disk, it requires a bootable external disk or a boot DVD. (A tool to create a boot DVD is included.)
Paragon Partition Manager
From the makes of CampTune is a commercial tool that is similar in functionality to GParted Live, but has a more polished/friendly user interface than GParted Live. Previously only the US$79.95 Professional version supported all the features required for this, but as of version 11 the US$39.95 Personal version has also been reported to work. http://www.paragon-software.com/home/pm-personal/
Winclone/Disk Utility
Winclone is a free tool for creating and restoring backup images of your Windows partition. One of its key features is that it can restore to a larger partition than the one the image was created from.
NOTE: Winclone has been discontinued, but for now remains available and capable of completing these tasks (including creating and restoring Windows 7 images).

Disk Utility can resize HFS+ (Mac OS) partitions, but is currently incapable of resizing NTFS partitions, so you could use it to reduce the size of the HFS+ partition and create a new larger placeholder MS-DOS (FAT) partition
The full process would be:
Backup Windows partition with Winclone.
(if the new Windows partition is smaller than the old one make sure you set the preferences in Winclone to save the image as an uncompressed dmg)
Delete old Windows partition
Resize current Mac Partition
Create new Windows partition as MS-DOS (FAT) in free space after Mac OS partition.
(If the new Windows partition is smaller than the old one an additional step is required: shrink the filesystem on the image by selecting Tools->Shrink Windows (NTFS) Filesystem)
Reboot your computer for the new Windows partition to mount properly (winclone may not restore if you don't reboot)
Restore Winclone partition over new Windows partition
An alternate Winclone based process is described in the External Guides section
Native OS utilities
MR user Kazyua reports that you can use the disk management utilities provided with the current operating systems if you want to do it manually. Windows 7 and OS X both have partition resizing functions built in. In OS X, open Disk Utility and manually shrink the mac HFS+ partition by dragging the lower right corner. Then in windows go to the start menu and type "disk management" into the search box then hit enter. You should get an overview of the drives you have and the individual partitions. Right-clicking on the partition gives an "Extend Volume" option. The Windows NTFS volume should then be extended into the free space you created with Disk Utility. This method has not worked for other users, so try at your own risk.

Sorry, but without a backup in iCloud or iTunes on your computer, your data is gone and can't be restored anymore.

Three keys of my keyboard are not working, the cap one, the return key and the space bar, while the virtual keyboard shows to others keys highlighted in orange (^ and `); How to fix it? I writing now with a bluetooth keyboard.
All new keyboards need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and above for full functionality.
Rather short-sighted of Apple perhaps, but that seems to be a trend these days.
I'm afraid the only fix is to upgrade to SL. Personaly, I'd take it back and get a refund and seek an older keyboard or a third-party one elsewhere. -
I need a help from you. All my movies are in 4:3 scale.
I use always the same Easy SepUp in Final Cut. My movies is compressed as DV NTSC in 4:3 format.
I need to finalize a dvd, and when the movie enters in iDVD, the preview appears already written in green "widescreen preview", and so the finallized dvd goes to 16:9 format.
I checked in Idvd, and the size is choosed to 4:3.
Interestingly, I've used iDVD several times, including by using templatesmade to 16:9, and changing the format to 4:3 it always worked well.
Maybe is an Idvd update that causes it?Sorry,I know this is a month late, but I think I remember this happening to myself some time ago. As I can best recall, I believe I had used an MP3 music file in my project (exported from FCP 7) and that was the cause in some strange way. I remember deleting a file (again, I believe the mp3 file) and then it worked fine as 4:3.Not positive, but I hope this helps.

How do I find bad music files? I have thousands of files, but some are bad. When I try to load them into iTunes, it just spins. I need a routine to identify and remove the bad files. Any ideas?

Very rarely, but nothing in life is guaranteed (except death and taxes)! If you purchased RAM from a reputable source like Crucial or OWC it will carry a lifetime warranty. -
When I try to use the Submit Form button on the Interactive PDF I created (In Design CS6), I get this message:

How can I fix this and make the Submit Form button work?Are you running modified software on your phone? This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.

When I try to connect to a WiFi network that I need a screen pops up and says "The network you're attempting to join requires you to install a profile on your Apple TV." What does this mean?
Yes, home sharing requires both to be on the same wifi network. As it stands access to the network requires the login via webpage, which cannot be done on Apple TV. You will need to speak to IT in order to grant access for the device.

I don't understand this answer. What do you mean " your contacts should be in whatever program/service you have selected to sync."? The address book is created on the phone not in Itunes or any other program/service. When Itunes says backing up phone I have to assume it backs up everything on the phone. Most of what's on my phone does not come out of itunes. I download apps directly on the phone. When the software updates it does not bring those apps back. I have to go into the appstore and install them all over again. Itunes music library syncs with whatever is on the device your linked up to BUT the phone book just dissappears after you update the phone. There is no way to save it anywhere else.
