HELP I need to retrieve lost iPhone notes

I accidentally deleted some notes from my mail app that where put there from my iPhone. Before I discovered my mistake I had synced the phone and the notes are gone from both the phone and my mail app and they are not in mails trash. Does anyone know of any way to retrieve the deleted notes? I could really use them back.

If you synced the phone after the notes were deleted, they won't be in the backup (only the last one is saved) and obviously can't be restored. There is no way to "undelete" files in an iPhone.
If the notes were in a backup, restoring the phone in iTunes using the backup would restore the notes to the phone.

The app has nothing to do with finding your iphone. it lets you find other devices on your account from your iphone.
DId you set up the built in find my iphone feature on your iphone itself?
If so, go to icloud.com and see if you can find it.
Otherwise it cannot be tracked.

if find my iphone was enabled on the device then you should be ok, log into icloud and select the find my iphone, on the devices tab click the device in question, if a location comes on the phone is swiched on, if not and the phone is turned off select the email whan found option and also i would send a request to wipe the phone and send a alert to the device so if any one turnes it on they will see the message that it is stolen

Please pardon my offense. I do agree it could have been taken badly and sounded a bit too harsh. I apologize. I have also have family and friends who have been, or still are, LEO's.
I am not saying they are dishonest. But in these economically tough times where electronic devices are reduced to almost less than commodity status there has to be a setting of priorities. Realistally I see the return of a mobile phone to be much less important than following up on paperwork for a robbery or rape.
There is also the matter of personal responsibility for the individual citizen. I think the individual should take the first initiative whether it's returning property, voting, or protecting themselves. I my opinion the Police and other goverment organizations, are there to assist society, not be its first line of response or resolution.
I'm glad you pointed out my remarks tonight. It is an indication you were a fine officer, and better still, a fine person looking to help others correct their mistakes. (even while being offended)

I recently lost my iphone. I had purchased some music on it, through the itunes store, that I hadn't backed up on my computer. Is there a way to retrieve it on my desktop through the store?

I did not want to wait until they contacted me me by phone
So it's not the contacting them that is frustrating but that wait after contacting them?

More likely you will simply get an email rather than a phone call.

Lost iPhone - Not Turned On

Hi,
I lost my iPhone a few days ago. As far as I can tell, it has yet to be turned on. Calls go right to voice mail. Does this mean it has yet to be reset or jail broken or somehow wiped and resold to someone else?
I don't know how it works when someone finds a phone and decides to use it for themselves or sell it to someone else. It does have the screen locked, so you need a password to get into it once turned on.
How do these things work?

If your phone is turned off or restored, there is no way to locate it. Contact your carrier, see if they offer blacklisting, if so, that will prevent the phone's reactivation, but not locate it. Even though you passcode protected the phone, change all of your passwords...especially your Apple ID & email.
Your phone can be restored, in iTunes, then used by whoever found it or sold to an unsuspecting buyer. If blacklisted, it will most likely be shipped out of the country, hacked if carrier locked, then re-sold.

Did you lose all data on your computer with the failed hard drive? All important data on your computer's hard drive should be included with your computer's backup, stored on external drive or some other external media used for backup purposes only, and your computer's backup should include your iTunes library - the iTunes named folder located in your Music folder.
The iPad is not designed or intended to be used as a backup storage device.
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPhone, or iPad, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to authorize this computer with your iTunes account with iTunes. With your iPad connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPad.
Backup, backup, backup, which should include your iTunes library. It isn't a matter of if but when the hard on the computer you are using now has a partial or complete failure, not to mention having constant virus, adware, and spyware concerns with Windows.

Help! Need to recover lost hard drive data after creating a partition!

So, I'm the world's biggest idiot, and I was trying to reformat my hard drive so that I could bring the documents from my Mac to my PC.
All of the docs were perfectly organized in folders and subfolders a long time ago, and once that had been done, I deleted everything off of the MacBook itself. I never thought I'd have to move all of the docs to a PC, but alas, nothing ever goes the way we plan now does it?
Anyways, I created a FAT 32 partition not realizing it would delete everything I already had on the hard drive, so now I need to recover all of that.
Is there ANY way that I can recover all the data I lost?

When you create a partition, the partition is the erased so all content is lost. There are data recovery services that may be able to recover the material, but they are very, very expensive, if they can even succeed with this kind of erasure.
Check and see if there are any hard drive data recovery services in your area.

Lost iphone notes

After syncing my iphone my notes have all disappeared. I didn't notice right away so I synced again later. Does that mean they are gone forever? I'm afraid I missed my opportunity to restore.

If you are syncing to a PC they may be gone. You don't mention what system you are syncing to, however...
I don't know how it works on the Mac, but with the iPhone/PC connection, it's not really a sync. The notes content on a PC simply overwrites the notes on the iPhone.
You can create them on the PC, and then they are copied to the iPhone upon 'sync'. If have a note that is on both the PC and the iPhone, and you update the iPhone copy of the note, it will be overwritten by the (presumably older) PC copy.
This is, of course, Bad.
Based on this operation, I expect that if you have notes on the iPhone, and no notes on the PC, the 'blank' notes database will likely overwrite (effectively erasing) the notes database on the iPhone.

What size browser viewport do they want to allow scrollbars
on? If you

HELP please, need to recover lost photo.

Recently uploaded a group of pictures from my camera, deleted the originals from my camera after uploading them. When reviewing them I was looking at a really great family photo that I took, only one like it. And of course instead of pressing escape to get out of the full screen mode, I pressed delete and the picture seems to be gone for good. I tried using a recovery program that recovers deleted photos from your cameras memory card. It recovered a lot of deleted photos, but none of them from the batch I recently took and uploaded. Is there anyway I can get it back? It didn't go to my Trash.

Look in the iPhoto trash (on the left near the top of the source pane under "recent")
Unless you have emptied the iPhoto trash since you deleted your family photo all of your deleted photos will be there

How to help a friend find his lost iphone ?
Item lost is iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1 installed.
iCloud is not set on the device, but have the imei no.

If icloud was not set of the device (and thus the "find my iphone" service was not turned on), then there's nothing you can do to find the lost device except help the friend search the house and other areas - in other words, there is no technology that can help.
Be sure the friend has contacted their carrier to have them shut down service and possibly contact the police.
Knowing the IMEI is of no help to Apple, they do not track these nor serial numbers.
