Help I synk with my computer last nightand did the upgrade and now i cloud is on iphone but I have no contacts they went to icloud how do I get them back to phone

Make sure that you choose Mail>View>Show Mailbox List, then hover your cursor over one of the subordinate mailbox categories, and you should see "Show." Next click on "Show."

You are right. It was not exaclty the moving to iCloud that caused the e-mail to disappear. What happened after the change to iCloud was that I did see my old email but when I tried to open it just does not show any content.
Then I looked at some options and did Choose Mailbox > Rebuild.
That is when all my old mail disapeared.
Any suggestions?

What does this mean?
How did you try to import those pics?
You import pics from iphone just as you would from any digital camera. They are not part of the sync process at all.
I am trying to figure out what exactly you did.
Bottom line is that the pics are gone unless you have a backup of your iphone on your computer from a time when the pics were on the iphone.
In the future you should be importing your pics to your computer regularly.

My iTunes library is "damaged" and now thousands of songs are missing. How do I get them back without re-importing each one?

I tried to open my library and it said the library had been corrupted and saved as a damaged file. When it finally opened thousands of songs were missing. I can't re-download and then re-import each of these songs. I tried to repair the library after going into programs and clicking repair but it did not restore the missing content. I have the lastest version of iTunes. With Apple tech support being a PITA to actually get in touch with I'm hoping someone here can help.

send an email to the iTS customer service using this form and ask the folks there nicely if you can re-download the files.
it has been reported here that you can sometimes get one free redownload request granted but never more than one.

Did you restore your phone with itunes or check new phone. You can always reconnect with itunes and restore your phone to old settings and it should replace everything because it is on your computer

The point is not whether you used iTunes or iCloud to restore your new iPhone. It's whether you have Contacts turned on in Settings > ICloud. If you do on both your old iPhone and new iPhone then those devices are connected through iCloud. Deletions on one device are also made on the other.
You may be able to restore your Contacts be using your old device backup to restore your new iPhone again. Make sure that you turn Off ICloud functionality on your old iPhone before you delete anything else from it.

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.
Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links.

I posted this almost a month ago, I'm surpirsed noone else had had this issue...
I don't sync that often (yeah, I know, crusify me), but tonight I went to synchronise again and I got a different photo that wont come over....

- the photos are taken with the same camera, on the same date and time as other photos around it...

I went into edit preference and all the start up scrips are selected so what else is there?

When you installed CS5, you have a chance to register it. If you do, your serial number is on file under your Adobe (My Products). If you did not, you have no serial number on file and even worse, no proof you own it.
You do not have your serial number copied down anywhere? Hard to believe you tossed the dvd box and all the documents away.
So Help > Register might give you a chance to do this without you knowing the number.
