Help! I simply cannot get Nokia PC Suite to connec...

I bought a brand new Nokia 6133 ~9 months ago, and I finally broke down and bought a USB cable so I can transfer my photos and such. However, no matter what I do, the phone won't connect on the "Get Connected" part. I've installed and reinstalled the drivers, program and everything.
I'm running XP Home, SP3 with all fast specs. I don't have access to bluetooth or infrared connections so that's out of the picture. There's no reason why this cable shouldn't work. I've spent way too many hours trying to get this to work. I've searched this message board and a few others and I haven't found any concrete info. Does anyone know what else I can do? Thanks.

Simply cannot get homesharing in iTunes to work. Please Help!

I have a brand new Mac running Lion. I connect the Mac wirelessly to Airport Extreme that is connected with a ethernet cable to my ISP modem. I can access the internet this way.
I also have an ipad that is using the internet connection and i can access pictures & documents on my Mac using my iPad.
I also have an iPhone with the Apple Remote app and can control iTunes from the app
I however simply cannot get Home Sharing to work.

Have you enabled Home Sharing on your iPhone, go to settings/iPod and under Home Sharing enter same apple id and password that you've setup on your mac. Now when you tap on your iPod app select More and you should see the Home Sharing icon appear, I would recommend that you have your mac on with iTunes running to test this because there seems to be a bug where you can't wake your mac from sleep via the iPod app from your iPhone when your mac is sleeping after a set period, which is the problem I'm having at the moment.

Thank you so much.
But I now believe the problem may have a slightly different basis.
Here is set-up (both PC's run 8.1 and Thunderbird):
a new PC (a)
older PC (b)
both are on the same hardwired router.
While setting up the new (a), Widows offered to bring setting over from (b). I accepted - and it spent several minutes working.
I do not recall if I had already down loaded Thunderbird onto (a) or if it came later. After this (b) Thunderbird shortcut brings up only "would you like a new email address" and "Thunderbird create a new acct".
Thunderbird from the Start Page or the App listings does the same thing.
(b) shows Thunderbird still to be the default.
Now (a) brought down all my old received mail, but none of the sent mail list.
And, important to me, none of the addresses- which were on (b)- they had been moved from an XP outlook express program 2 years ago into Thunderbird.
I have not tried to delete Thunderbird from (b), and start over with it, as I fear loosing my addresses.
So here how you can help me if you have the time.
1. How best can I get (b) to have a working Thunderbird ?
2. How best can I get (a) to continue to work AND have/share the contact-address stuff from (b) as it was before all this.

Can someone help me? I cannot get the calendar on my iphone to sync to my macbook's iCal. It also is not showing up on iCloud. What is the problem?

I don't use iCal, but I think they both must be logged in to the same account and it is not always your iTunes account.
I have see a few iCloud sync issues at it has been usually related to the accounts themselves.
My understanding is you can have and iTunes account, and each of your devices can get free 5GB on the cloud.
The catch is each device needs a iCloud account. If you want the sync to happen between two devices then those two devices need to share the iCloud account and not the itunes account.
Not sure if this is the cause of the problem your having.

Firefox is BLOCKING Gmail due to securtiy certificate! HELP?? Cannot get my email accounts!!

I just purchased a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 Pro. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox.
I have several very important Gmail accounts but Firefox will NOT allow me access to any Gmail items! There is not even the option to ignore the warning that the security certificate is invalid. I CANNOT get to any Gmail account.
The computer I am replacing also has the latest version of Firefox but it allows access to all my Gmail accounts. The only reason that I am replacing the computer is because Microsoft has stopped supporting XP and all my normal software vendors will no longer support me; so I am forced to change.
One suggestion in Firefox is to go to the Profile file and delete "cert8" and then let Firefox recreate it. THAT DOES NOT WORK with my problem.
Please, can someone help. I have a business to run and I have all day on this issue.

Firefox reports that Google's Gmail has an invalid certificate! No other program does this. In fact, it does not do this on my other computer running the same software. Internet Explorer connects without a problem.
Deleting "cert8" file from Firefox's profile does not seem to work either. What I mean by "seem" is that it might work for a couple of loads then it blocks it again.

Help! I cannot get the mouse to work on a pop up on my desk top offering access to imessaging. Very annoying block to the screen saver. How do I get rid of it?

My desktop has a sign offering access to messaging but the mouse does not work on any option. I cannot log in or give password. I just want to get rid of it from the desktop. It is ruining my screensaver. Please help.

Sync media using iTunes, not Bluetooth.
When the screen freezes on the iPhone, try "resetting".
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

First of all you have to assign a static ip address on computer on which you have to host games, like
ip: 192.168.1.10
subnet mask:255.255.255.0
Default gateway:192.168.1.1
Then need to forward ports used by the mentioned games on your routers firewall, to this static ip address.
Ports used by Counter Strike:
1200 set as UDP.
27000 - 27015 set as UDP.
27020 - 27050 set as TCP.
Ports used by Garry's Mod:
27015 UDP
27015 TCP
27020 UDP

How can I get help when I cannot get signed in?

I was in the process of taking a course on CANS a few days ago. Today when I tried to return using the same email address and password, I was told that the password was incorrect. This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

Help why I cannot get Infinity

I am moving to a new build in calne wilts and half out of the 29 new homes can get Infinity while the other half does not show on the checker but tey are in no order just hit and miss so no reason why we can not all get Infinity. We all have the same postcode SN11 0FF and use the same cab so is it because we have not got a phoneline installed yet or any other reason but when I phone BT they just say you dont get Infinity Help Help Help

There must be two Cabs serving the 29 New house's, Your House must be on the Cab that has not been FTTC enabled yet.
and if only one CAB then yes you need a phone line first ! thats how you receive FTTC or any other type of Broadband via a telephone cable.

Help...cannot get audio input monitoring t work

Try deactivating Input monitoring so you'll hear the track before and after the punch - like that you're actually listening "post tape". If you have an external Audio Interface/Mixer with monitoring capabilities use that instead.

Help! I cannot get to a website I was on 3 days ago, and the history button does not seem to take me to my browsing history. SO far I have gone back to Internet Explorere as the FF4 is too frustrating, but accessing my history is critical for contacts.

In FF4 I cannot find where to access the history. I go to the red drop down box in the top of the left hand corner and there is a link to a history drop down, but then there will be nothing displayed- not for the day, or the week, or---. Where has the access to this information been moved? I am using Windows 7 .

CTRL+H should give you your history unless you enabled "Clear Browsing History" in Options | Options | Privacy.

HELP! I cannot get any of my dashcode widgets to work in Ibooks Author

I have developed a few small widgets to work with my book in Ibooks. They work great in dashcode but when I deploy them to my book all I see is the default image. It does not load any of the buttons or pictures to the book when clicked on by the user. I am fairly new to this so any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

HT5824 Help ... cannot get outlook email on PC now, just loaded Icloud

I just downloaded Icloud onto my PC and received the message "two versions of outlook running. Remove one version". I don't believe I have two versions of Outlook (have Windows Live Mail 2011 and Outlook 2010). However I now cannot retrieve my emails in Outlook on my PC now, only on my Ipone 5s. I can however retrieve emails in Windows Live (these are a different email address than the Outlook email however - Outlook is my work email).
If anyone has tips or insigts on what to do to fix this and be able to access my Outlook email that would be greatly appreciated!
