Help. I think I broke my Muse...

Good morning! In my attempt to set up my domain this morning, I broke my site. Earlier, I had changed my Adobe ID info, now Muse doesn't recognize my site when uploading it, nor to I have access to my BC dashboard or am I able to directly login through the browser. Any help would be fantastic.

Hi,
I got your email and I have made some changes in the backend after which, when I logged into Muse, using the [email protected] and tried to publish and this what I got,
I didn't try to publish anything as that would change the site content. Please try to publish and let me know if that works.
Alternatively, try to deactivate and re-activate Muse from the Help menu and post any queries or the error that you get, if possible with the screen shots.

  • URGENT PLEASE HELP! Think I broke my eeprom

    Hi there,
    after getting a good manual for setting up a RAID-1 on my Netra, I broke something.
    I set two new devaliases for the existing hdds. like the manual said.
    After rebooting, it said Can't find boot device.
    It went to the ok Promt, there I tried a devunset, followed by a reset-all.
    Now, it won't boot, I always reach a

    ok
    That's it.
    Please help me out.

    Couple of things to try. Can you boot off the net or CD/DVD ? I noticed that you have disk and disk0 to be same. You mention that you mirrored root. Do you know what the other disk was ? If so you can try booting the other disk.

  • Help I think I broke it

    I have a ibook and the power cable was comming off. the wires that connect to the book so I was trying to tape it up when I they touched eatch other and I forgot to unplug it. now the computer will not turn on it will just lite up the little green ring around where the power supply is what should I do ? do you think it is serious ?

He said he would try to replace the DC board and then the logic board what do you guys think ? is that what you would do or would you do something else ?

  • Iphoto--I think I broke it

    I just purchased the macbook with iphoto 6 and have never used iphoto before. I copied some of my pictures folders from my windows machine to the pictures folder. I then imported them into iphoto. I didn't know it would put everything into the library sorted by years and the last roll folder. I wanted the folders sorted the way I had them in the pictures folder. So, I proceeded to delete all 800 pictures by holding the delete key. Iphoto crashed three times while doing this. I then imported one folder and attempted to drag and drop the pictures into some albums I created in the source pane. Drag and drop wouldn't move the pictures. I restarted my computer and drag and drop started working but now select all does not select anything. I am selecting the last roll, clicking edit so the thumbnails appear then attempting to select all the thumbnails but select all only selects one picture. I tried shift-clicking to select a group of them. When I drag and drop it says I'm moving however many I have selected but when I click on the album I'm moving the pictures to, only one or two pictures have been moved. I tried rebuilding the photo library but that didn't solve the problem.

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
    I don't think you broke iPhoto, but have you
    considered using the Help at all?
    1. To duplicate your folder structure in iPhoto,
    simply drag the folders to the Source (or left-hand)
    pane in iPhoto. There they will be automatically
    saved into Albums. If you start at the bottom of your
    folder structure, you can create the enclosing
    folders in iPhoto.
    2. When you tried to remove the 800 photos by using
    the delete key - well it might have been better to
    seclect them and move them to the iPhoto trash. Then
    got to the iPhoto menu and empty the trash.
    Now your photos are removed from iPhoto and the
    iPhoto library folder.
    3. When you're trying to operate drag and drop and
    select, first make sure your in the library, not in
    an album or smart album. Is it possible that you were
    trying to drag the photos into a place they already
    were?
    I have used help extensively but can't find the answer to my questions.
    No, not possible. I'm in the library attempting to select multiple photos and drag and drop into an album. I can drop them one at a time but I can't select all nor is it moving the number of photos indicated. For example, I selected 8 photos, dragged them to an album. A +8 appeared as I dragged the pictures but when I looked at the album there were only three pictures there.

  • Help I think I have Macvx on my computer and I can't get rid of it.

    Help,
    I think I have Macvx on my iMac late 2012 21.5 running the latest OS.
    I am getting heaps of ads in my web browser.
    I have seen similar question from other people and responses explaining to find and search for it in your applications menu but I can't find anything that relates to it or that was installed recently.
    I have even looking in the library and through spotlight search searching the specific words Macvx and Vidx.
    Please help,
    Thank you very much.

    If you are having an immediate problem with ads popping up see The Safe Mac » Adware Removal Guide and The Safe Mac » AdMedic.
    Open Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu. Click on Extensions icon in the toolbar. Disable all Extensions. If this stops your problem, then re-enable them one by one until the problem returns. Now remove that extension as it is causing the problem.

    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect everything targeting the Mac.

    4. Internet popups saying the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on
        your computer is intended to entice you to install their malware thinking it is a
        protection against malware.
    5. Some of the anti-malware products on the market are worse than the malware
        from which they purport to protect you.
    6. Be cautious where you go on the internet.
    7. Only download anything from sites you know are safe.
    8. Avoid links you receive in email, always be suspicious even if you get something
        you think is from a friend, but you were not expecting.
    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume it is malware.

  • Help.Malfunction on application updates...I think I broke my phone

    Hello I was re-installing the blackberry desktop manager and then I click on the updates when the installation was finish, so it started to update when I noticed that it was erasing something (I thought it was erasing the things that I put on my phone), so I clicked on cancel..It continued and did not stop right away.Then I got an error message. Now my phone will not turn on. I took the battery out and put it back in and I'm getting this small circle image with a line going through it (like a restriction sign with a box in it that has a circle, square and triangle and the numbers 507 to the bottom). Is there anyway that I can fix this? Please help me I just got this phone earlier this year.

    Hi and welcome to the forums!
    Your Blackberry needs to have the operating system restored. Once restored you can use your latest backup to restore settings and data. The attached links will step you through the procedure
    Please tell us what model Blackberry you own, what device OS and what version of desktop manager you were using. We can help you download any software and user manuals you may need. We can then move this thread to the proper forum for the best advice.

  • I think I broke my gf's ibook :S Help please

    So yesterday, I opened my girlfriends iBook up to clean it out. It had been overheating even when on a flat surface and shutting off. So I went to work with the compressed air. I removed both bezels and whatnot. When I put it all back together, I hit the power button and heard the startup chime, but just a black screen. Then followed by another startup chime, and still more darkness. So...here I am now, with an inoperational iBook and irate girlfriend! Step one, I'm going to take it apart and double check that I put everything together correctly, and if this doesn't do the trick, I fear my laptop knowledge has been exceeded. Any ideas? My last resort (easy way out) is to buy another one on ebay and swap out the HD with hers. My question for that is, if I just swap out a HD will the new comp boot up and be exactly like her other one (ie...same wallpaper and prefs with all files??. I have successfully swapped out her disk drive with a combo one and some other small things, so I have a bit of competency...I was kind of in a hurry this last time...mistake #1.
    So any suggestions or help would be great! Thanks guys!
    Charles

    I would be certain that it was exactly the same model iBook in order to maximize the chances of it working. Check out the specs at EveryMac.com to be sure you get the exact same model.
    Good luck.

  • Help...I think a broke my MacBook!

    OK, here is the situation:
    Computer:
    MacBook (13-inch) white
    1.83 GHz
    2GB RAM
    100GB HD
    The optical drive was accepting disks and reading them just fine but was having a hard time i.e. not ejecting the disk. I've had this problem before in another MacBook under warranty, and they just replaced the optical drive. This one is not under warranty, so I decided to try and fix it myself....now I've done lots of repairs to macBooks myself, so I read on a post how the black felt in the optical drive can get lifted up, or generally get in the way of the disk being ejected.
    So I took out the optical drive, fixed the black felt, re-installed the optical drive, went to turn the computer back on to test out the optical drive, but instead now it won't even boot!!
    I put an audio recording of what it sounds like when I start it up on the public folder of my iDisk account. Click [here|http://idisk.mac.com/hdh607-Public?view=web] to get it. The file is labeled "bad sound". When you listen to it, two seconds in I press the power button, then 6-8 seconds later you get that awful gratting optical drive sound!
    No boot chime, nothing on the display but a quick flash shortly after I press the power button...then the "bad sound".
    Now, I'm hoping that maybe I just damaged the optical drive cable, or something like that. I'm looking for advice from someone who might know if this is true or not. "It's probably your logic board" wlll not help me much. The computer was working fine before the surgery. I want to know if I should just go ahead and order a new $20US cable from ifixit or if something bigger is going on.
    Is there a way to boot without using the optical drive? Can a faulty optical drive prevent a system from booting? Can a faulty optical drive CABLE prevent a system from booting? It tried to boot without the optical drive cable attached and got nothing...really nothing.
    Help please!!

    FIXED!
    The short of it: it was the RAM.
    The long of it:
    Switched out the RAM for known good RAM and booted up no problem. Looked at the original RAM, looked OK but Scrubbed (gently) the connectors with a clean toothbrush, then dusted it. Re-installed and booted no problem on the original, cleaned RAM.
    As for the optical drive problem...It still wasn't ejecting properly. After playing around with the optical drive for a bit, I concluded that the entry to the optical drive itself and the slot in the case were not quite aligned properly. Like the optical drive was sitting a little too high, or alternatively, the slot was too low.
    To fix it, I tried sitting the optical drive lower, but that didn't seem to work. What did work was a bit of force. I put a quarter in the slot of the case and pried it open more along the length of it. I did look a little like the top half of the slot was arching very slightly down in the middle of the slot. Anyhow, it worked. The quarter trick is also a good one for getting the disk out in the beginning when I wouldn't eject.
    That's it...problem(s) resolved!

  • I think I broke my mini...help please!

    Hi -- I'm pretty sure I've broken my mini, but I would just like to have this confirmed.
    I dropped my mini the other day and ever since then there has been a problem with the earphone connection. If the earphones are plugged in all the way as they should be then the sound only comes out of the right earbud. If I pull the earphones out halfway (just at the right spot) then the sound comes out of both earbuds as normal. I have tried different earphones on the iPod with the same result. Consequently, I have concluded that the earphone connection port on the mini itself suffered some sort of trauma from the fall.
    Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what the problem may be? Can it be repaired or do I need to 1) suffer with the stupid earphone connection situation as is, or 2)buy a new one?
    I'm pretty bummed and embarrassed that I may have just thrown $249 down the drain!
    Thanks in advance for your thoughts/views/advice.

    Renee,
    You have voided the apple warranty.
    The best bet would be some 3rd party repair options such as http://www.ipodresq.com
    But yes, I do believe the iPod is broken.

  • Help Getting My Form Into My Muse Website

    My site is published at Catalyst. It is not my main hosting place. I want a form to work on any place I host my site. I am very confused as I designed a form using Form Central and Acrobat XI. Why doesn't it work with Muse? I would think all of these programs, included in Creative Cloud, would work together. If anyone can offer help I would be grateful. I am looking at the HTML option but, it also says it only works with Business Catalyst.
    I want to add that I need more than a simple contact form.

    Please forgive me sounding like the rookie I am. How do I go about copying the HTML to insert on the webpage? Don't feel obligated to hand hold me through it. If there is a tutorial please just send me the link. And thank you so much for your response. The web form I am designing is part of the main attraction for my site and my business. I am offering custom gemstone, beads, silver and eventually gold, jewelry. It is not going to be very effective without a form that allows the customer to fill in their preferences for their jewelry pieces. Items such as What? (like necklace or earrings) and color, etc. I was lucky to find a template for another form type that I could edit perfectly! Now, I just need to get it onto my website. Thanks, again!

    I know this isn't what you really want to hear but I'd recommend taking it in to an authorized repair location or your local Apple Store to get the Superdrive repaired or replaced so you can do an install? I don't believe you will be able load from your Dad's Window's machine. However you might be able to from an external DVD drive.
    Also I might recommend getting a UPS so if you have similar issues you will have enough power to do a proper shutdown.

  • HI there, need help in thinking of a logic.

    Good Day!
    I'm having trouble thinking of the logic in this simple (but tediously hard for me) problem.
    I've got two internal tables, say table A and table B. I need to output records from table A that do not match records from table B. and vice versa.
    The thing is, before I can output them, there are 3 primary keys for each table. let's say, ID, Document, and date. I need to match 3 of them to the other table, and if they don't match I would have to print them out.
    What I did was.
    Loop at TABLEA.
         Loop at TABLEB.
            IF TABLEA-ID NE TABLEB-ID AND ...
            WRITE TABLEA-ID ...
            ENDIF.
         ENDLOOP.
    ENDLOOP.
    The problem is,  let's say table a has
    ID: 0
    Doc:1
    Date: 1
    ID:1:
    DOC:1
    DATE:1
    table b has
    ID:1
    DOC:1
    DATE:1
    and so on..
    the loop will first compare table a with b and if it doesn't match well.. it prints it out immediately. Maybe the 1st record of table A is in the 20th record of table B. So I get multiple unmatches. So now I'm turning to the experts here, hope you guys can help.
    I'm not sure if there was a faster way to do this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Help I think my power supply is going bad! Where can I buy parts?

    I am getting random reboots and it doesn't seem to be the OS... My first guess is the power supply but I can't seem to find one to buy... Does anyone know where I can buy one at?  Is there a good place for parts for the MEGA 180?

    you need to post more information about the problem you're having, before we start pointing the finger at the PSU, which is the one part that is difficult to obtain now

    Post more info on the hardware in your Mega PC, refer to >> Moan Guide <<
    Download Speedfan and use it to measure CPU temps both at idle and under load and post them here. >> How to use Speedfan <<
    Test your memory using >> Memtest86 <<
    The thing is that windows never leaves an error... I get nothing in the event viewer except windows was shutdown error no other errors are listed so I don't think it's windows... I ran a CPU Burn in test for over 24 hours and never had a problem so I don't think it's heat either... And the reboots are quite random I will go two weeks without one and then get them two and three times a day...  To me the power supply seems to be the easiest answer but since there hard to get I guess it's not so easy to check eh...
    I have done the fan mod (Turning it so it sucks in cool air) and I have a slot fan dumping tons of air out the back so I don't think it's a heat problem... I started to have the problem running Windows XP SP2 so I did a complete reload from scratch to Windows Vista (I know not completely supported but it works fine) and am still having the same problem...  I have a Haugpauge 150 pci card, Haugpauge USB2, A usbuirt pluged into usb and thats about it...  2 gigs of ram 2x1gig sticks from Crucial,  yes I have already run a memory check and it passed...
    Is there not anywhere to get a power supply?  Or is there another model that fits the mega 180 case?

  • $20 to anyone who can help: (I think) how to send the right cookie info

    Yes, we're so befuddled and stumped that we are willing to pay $25 by Paypal or any other method (check, money order) to the first person who provides us with a concrete solution that allows us to read this page through a Java application:
    http://s1.amazon.com/exec/varzea/subst/your-account/your-open-marketplace-items.html/104-3907538-7794313
    The problem (we think) seems relatively simple: how can we pass the correct cookie to a server? We want to search our merchant web pages on amazon.com (and perform other operations, but for the purposes of this problem, just assume we want to read the above web page). We wrote a variation of a webcrawler which works fine on most web pages. However, the Amazon web pages we want to crawl (i.e., http://s1.amazon.com/exec/varzea/subst/your-account/your-open-marketplace-items.html/104-3907538-7794313) require you to sign in first (otherwise you get redirected to http://s1.amazon.com/exec/varzea/subst/your-account/your-won-zshop-items.html/104-0793551-2976761). So we thought that this meant we had to figure out how to get our webcrawler to login first (we implemented the Java Almanac example for accessing password-protected URLs: http://javaalmanac.com/egs/java.net/Auth.html?l=rel). During the course of testing this out (the code seemed to work, though we still got redirected), we realized that the Amazon web page is not actually performing basic authentication (not asking for username/password), but instead seems (that is, seems to inexperienced us) to be looking for a cookie. We believe this because after we sign in to Amazon, we can access all our merchant web pages just fine without ever needing to log in, even if we turn off the browser (or computer). Also, if we try to access the web page after deleting all cookies, we again get redirected to the page requesting that we sign in.
    So we took a look at the Amazon cookie that was created after we signed in to Amazon (printed below), and then implemented the cookie-passing code from the Java Almanac (http://javaalmanac.com/egs/java.net/SendCookie.html). This seemed to have no effect:we still got redirected. We hunted around for other Cookie examples and found achase1's example from a previous forum question (http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=54&thread=375956), which seemed to add a few HTTPUrlConnection.set's, but this also had no effect--our Java crawler still gets redirected to the page that requests that we sign in first.
    So we think that either we are somehow passing the wrong cookie information, or are just missing some critical HttpURLConnection setting or parameter.
    So, if you can tell us how to read the Amazon page that seems to require a cookie, and your explanation actually works (that is, we can read the page), we will send you $25 immediately--like so many others on the forum, we're frustrated and lost and need an answer that works!
    Here is the Amazon account information (naturally, this is a working dummy account on Amazon, not our actual account, in case you want to test your solution before posting it):

    Here is the extra-simplified version of our webcrawler, which simply tries to read (and print out) the web page:
    import java.net.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class PasswordReader {
    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
    // Try to access the page
    try {

    // Cookie passing code
         m_urlConn=(HttpURLConnection)url.openConnection();
         m_urlConn.setDoOutput(true);
         m_urlConn.setDoInput(true);
         m_urlConn.setUseCaches(false);
         m_urlConn.setRequestMethod("POST");
         // optrional
         m_urlConn.setRequestProperty("User-Agent","Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0; H010818)");
         m_urlConn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type","application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
         m_urlConn.setRequestProperty("Cookie" , "session-id=104-3907538-7794313;session-id-time=1055491200;ubid-main=430-1017936-7312154;x-main=Z3yciaQAfpzN?CPFkzeRd8z1U2lWcoap");
         m_urlConn.connect();
    // end cookie code
         BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(
                        new InputStreamReader(
                        url.openStream()));
         String inputLine;
    // Read and print out the web page
         while ((inputLine = in.readLine()) != null)
         System.out.println(inputLine);
         in.close();
    } catch (MalformedURLException e) {
    } catch (IOException e) {
    Thank so much to anyone who even tries to help us!! We've been poring through the Sun forums, almanacs, and sample code all week without much evident progress. You'd really be making us very, very happy.
    Thank you,

  • Help editing default link style in Muse.

    I thought I was going to figure this out, but it's making me crazy. In Adobe Muse can you change the 'default link style'?
    I've tried making a new style and applying it, but no matter what I do it won't stick. Any ideas would be helpful.
