Guys & Gals- Not sure what to do. See the screenshot below. This popped up on on Safari this morning and I can't make it go away. There's no way for me to toggle between tabs or anything.

  • What do I do if I think my Iphone has been hacked?

I think my iphone has been hacked ... how can I know for sure... I believe they may have gotten my contacts.... who knows what else?

I was also hacked this week on my 4S.  As improbable as everyone at Apple may say, it did happen.  I am pretty good with technology.  My kids had my iPhone 7 years old and they went to a website that without my knowing, allowed so done to take control of my device.  I had the phone on charging and connected via wifi.  I heard in the middle of the night someone talking and then a fax machine but thought I was dreaming. I turned over and went back to sleep not looking at my phone.
Next morning I wake up and the screen is on maps?  I panicked and realized a bunch of SMS txts and also some emails went out. In checking my call log, bingo... A bunch of calls over a 4 hour period.  I started to delete anything suspect but really didn't know what to do. I then called all my banks and credit card accounts to out them on high alert.
I called apple and they begin to say that this is a software glitch, clearly they were not listening.  I went to the apple store and spoke with a supposed genius who suggested the same thing.  Finally, I explained it to a level 2 person and they suggested wiping the phone clean by resetting it and reinstalling everything fresh.  I still have no way of knowing what was accessed or downloaded and more scary, neither does apple.
When I asked if there was an app, they couldn't suggest anything saying that by default the iPhone is secure and encrypted yet here I am with a remote accessed situation on my hands.
    Any ideas... Anyone?

  • I think my system has been hacked int

I think my airport has been hacked into how do I change passowrd

Unless you are using a very simple password that might be easy to guess, the chances that someone has cracked your network are very small.
The password is changed using AirPort Utility, an administrative application for the AirPort routers.
What device did you use to set up the AirPort Extreme originally? If you have a Mac, we'll need to know what operarting system it is using if you want step by step instructions on how to change the password.
Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, then click About This Mac. Post back with the OS X Version number that you see there.

  • Hi, I just created an apple Id account and someone has already used it to buy ibooks! Help, looks like my account has been hacked!

Hi, I just created an apple Id account and someone has already used it to buy ibooks! Help, looks like my account has been hacked!

    Received an email:
our Apple ID, xxxxxx, was just used to download iBooks from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID.
If you initiated this download, you can disregard this email. It was only sent to alert you in case you did not initiate the download yourself.
If you did not initiate this download, we recommend that you go toiforgot.apple.com to change your password, then see Apple ID: Security and your Apple ID for further assistance.

  • I think my icloud has been hacked and someone is seeing my text messages

I think that my icloud or iphone has been hacked.  I think that someone is seeing my text messages that shouldn't be.  How can I tell or how do I fix it

Text messages are not sent to Apples icloud so not possible there.
If you are using Verizon's messaging there may be a way to view your text messages from a computer and another device on your account. But you have to turn on Verizon's integrated messaging and the person must have your password to view them from the web.

  • Help! I think my iPhone has been hacked!?

Hi, my friend and i have been texting back and fourth between imessage and text, assuming bad service, we both have iPhone 4S, we both live in Ontario, Canada, but right now she is visiting Nashville, TN. All of the sudden I get a text message from her number that is Chinese writing?!
It showed up on my phone but when she sent me a screen shot of our conversation from her end,
It doesn't show it's there? Have I been hacked? I tried to translate the Chinese text but it hardly makes sense, this is what showed up.
    " 浥獳慧攠Ԡ瑯′㈶㤸㤳㌴〠獵捣敥摥搮"
"Hui eyelid redness Yì Ԡ neighbors' ㈶ sauce ㌴ 〠 Bei Yan Lie dǎo staying Museum"
I tried to translate it to English, but that's all I got.
    Please help!!!
    -Bail

Receiving a weird message is not an indication of hacking - at least not on the recipient's end.  The issue in this story is, "Why did her phone send that message to you?"  Even better, "What message (if any) was she trying to send?"  Either there is an issue on the network, or some third party has figured out a way to send messages using someone else's number.

  • Think my email has been hacked need help??

i use outlook web page to check my emails but yester day i had delivery failures which was unusual as i didnt send anything.. i went to log in today and it said there is somebody trying to use my email aswell
does anybody know how this has happened?? is it anything to do with malware?
and how do i stopit from happening
    thanks in advance

Your mail account has almost certainly been hacked on the server, not on your computer, unless someone has had access to the latter.
Log in to the mail server's web interface and change the password. If you use the same password for any other accounts, change those passwords too, and make them all different. Internet passwords should be random strings of at least 10 characters. You most likely don't need to, and should not be able to, remember them. They should be saved in your keychain and backed up with the rest of your data.
One way to generate a secure password is the following. Triple-click anywhere the line below on this page to select it:
    openssl rand -base64 10 | cut -c-14 | open -f -a TextEdit
Copy the selected line to the clipboard (command-C). Launch the Terminal application and paste into the window that opens (command-V). A string of 14 random characters will appear in a TextEdit window. Use that string, or a substring, as the password. To generate another random string, press the up-arrow key and then the return key with the Terminal window active. You can then quit Terminal.
If the compromised account is on Gmail, then changing the password may not be enough. Follow all of Google'sinstructions to secure it.

    Hi alakesher
    Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums
Just make sure that your Bluetooth is turn off and delete all paired device list from your device and also you can set a password for your device, then your partner will not be able to access your device.

  • HT1338 My safari has been hacked what do I do?

My safari and my phone are hacked what can I do?

Depends on whether your computer has actually been "hacked", if your online account(s) have been "hacked", and what "hacked" actually means in your case.
Why don't you start by explaining what symptoms you are seeing that lead you to believe you have been hacked...

  • I think my computer has been hacked, help please?

    Hi,
A couple of days a go, after having my laptop for nearly two years, I have started to have major issues with it. When I log on, as soon as I get on to my desktop, without any encouragement, it starts doing its own thing such as the mouse moving around in a very jagged manner and generally resisting anything I attempt to do. It is making my computer incredably slow and its so frustrating. Even worse, I am frightened I may have picked up something and that someone is controlling my machine but the issue is I know so very little about computers, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have changed browsers (used to use Safari, now I use FireFox) and have backed up all my files on to a hard drive and am thinking about restoring the mac to it's factory settings but I am unsure whether this would mean I would lose all my applications which I desperately can't afford to do. It only happens occasionally, so at the present it is fine but it occurs out of the blue and is very unnerving. I have two anti virus programmes on here: ClamXav and iAntiVirus which suggest that there are no virus found on the computer. I have also been monitoring the activity monitor and although nothing has particularly drawn much attention, it can be fair to say I am not entirely sure what I am looking for.
Is there any way to double check to see as to whether my computer is infected and if so what would be my next move?
    Muchly appreciated

The anti-virus software is not the problem.  Yes, Shootist is correct that AV software can be almost as much of a problem as getting infected with malware, but ClamXav is one that is good.  Having two isn't so good, though, so ditch iAntivirus at least.  And see my Mac Malware Guide for more information to protect yourself from malware.
Similarly, the firewall is also not the problem.  You almost certainly do not need a firewall.  See Do I need a firewall? for more information on that.
Most likely, you are not being hacked.  If I understand you correctly, it doesn't seem like the mouse has any purpose to its actions - is that correct?  If so, my first thought would be that your battery has gone bad and is expanding, and in the process is pressing on the underside of the trackpad.  That is a known cause of this kind of behavior.  Though I must admit I've never seen a battery expand, it does happen.  I'd advise getting the machine looked at by Apple ASAP.
If the movements do appear purposeful, someone could be playing a prank on you.  Check System Preferences -> Sharing and make sure everything there is turned off.  If Screen Sharing is on, someone may have been using that to access your machine, most likely someone who knows your MobileMe password (if you have MobileMe) or someone on the same local network that you're using.
(Note that my pages contain links to other pages that promote my services, and this should not be taken as an endorsement of my services by Apple.)

  • I think my computer has been hacked.

Safari cant verify any websites at all, weird things keep changing and there is a new guest account that I can not go on. Also, I tried to do a security update and I would not work. Help please im just a teenage girl that knows little to nothing about computers!

Thanks for your comments. I generally keep it quite secure. I did open it up for a short time to serve some e-mail accounts. But, shut that down when all this happened. I also do intend to become somewhat of an expert on this, and I have read a lot on many sites over the past few days before posting here. However nothing I could find answered my questions directly.
As for the post being general, the first 3 paragraphs were to describe what happened. I just figured that the background might be helpful. The question(s) themselves were in the fourth paragraph. I guess I might have been vague. So, let me try to restate them again.
My questions are as follows: (1) do the facts that I have relayed give a strong indication that my computer was hacked into or could they just be erroneous behavior? (2) How can I tell if someone has logged into my system (whether they hacked in or not); and (3) where can I find in the system when someone has logged in and for how long they were logged into my computer (again, whether they had permission or not)? Seems like the answer to both of these questions should be in a log file somewhere.
A bonus would be if I could track where they were and what files they accessed, but I believe that is not possible under OS X, without some extra software that I did not have installed at the time.
Thanks again. I appreciate any input here. It is unnerving to have someone access your computer without permission.

  • I have a catch 22 situation. My Apple ID is set up but I forgot my password when I ask for an email link it never arrives. I think my account has been hacked, my security questions, the answers say they are wrong. I want to delete it, can't without passwo

Continued..my security answers have been changed, I think ID hacked, email and sec answers changed. How do I delete it? By the way it is not this ID, I had to set up a new one to use this site....

Did he have find my iPhone enabled under that iCloud account?  If so, add the account back to his phone.  Then in the iCloud account settings, disable find my iPhone first (you will be prompted for your password), then remove the account.
Now you can create or add a new iCloud account to it using his own AppleID.
Alternatively, you could log in to your www.icloud.com account in a web browser.  Using the find my iPhone app there, remove his iPhone from your list of associated devices (he will have to power his iPhone off for you to do that).
After his iPhone is set up for his own iCloud account, on your iPhone, go to
settings->iCoud->Storage & Backup->Manage Storage and delete his iPhone's backup file to make more room on your own iCloud storage account.

Because of the inaccessibility to the web. Also, my Verizon account has someone else as the account owner. It just seems that something else has control of or access to my phone. Being asked the way you did really made me force myself to put to words what's wrong. That's just it, I can't put my finger on it. I must sound nutty.
