okay so i updated itunes and now it wont let me sync anything it keeps giving me that "you can only be synced with one computer at a time erase and sync" but this is the only computer ive ever used!!! pleeeease help!!

If you really want help, stop messing with the fonts and post so that others can read and offer suggestions.
Or better yet... try a search, I'm certain you'll find a solution to whatever issue you're experiencing.
I have found that many times it is the things that make you most angry that push you to action. This was the case here. Thank you for causing me to get so angry that I found the answer myself.

Since installing an icon-editing add-on, I can't open tabs any more / I can only use one tab at a time.

Ever since I installed the add-on Favicon Picker 2 that lets you change the bookmark icons, I can't open tabs any more. The second tab will open, but if you try to go to a site, the FIRST tab redirects to that site. Basically, I can only use one tab at a time. Is there any way I can keep this add-on and use tabs?

Oh, wow - look at that, you're right :) I didn't want to uninstall the add-on as I like the feature, but simply by disabling it you can keep the new icons AND use tabs. Thanks dude!

Can i only use one computer at a time?

I have 2 computers that are one the same network. One mac and one PC desktop. The airport is connected to the Mac but my PC still recognizes it. I have tried to connect the PC to airtunes, but it will not connect.. If i configure that as I did on the Mac, could I connect 2 computers to the airport?

Since the AEX works with PC's, and I've had three Macs configured to drive our stereo at the same time, I would say you can use more than one.

Firefox won't open, instead a pop-up says something like, "You already have one copy running. You can only use one copy at a time. ( It happens repeatedly (I am using a iMac 10.4.11)

I can only use one tab at a time. If I go to File, New Tab a second tab will not open. I am able to create a 2nd tab by clicking a link from the first tab.

I am unable to open further tabs, if I either right click or go to File; Ne tab; nothing happens.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13 version. Evidently something in that extension isn't compatible with a Firefox security fix. Disable that extension or un-install it.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are receiving a "Not enough free space" alert when attempting to sync your new iPhone 4s. The following article may help to resolve your issue:

Resolution
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your device, then syncing again to solve this issue.
Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device. To resolve this issue:
1. Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
2. Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
3. Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
4. Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes.
          - If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 5.
5. Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device. To do this:
          - Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
          - Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
          - Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
          - Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 6.

I lost my only navigation tool bar, so I can only open one window at a time, and can't use google. Help.

I'm not sure what I did, but I right clicked on my google tool bar (which I use since I can't find the Firefox navigation toolbar) and I somehow disabled it. Now I can only use one window at a time, and if I go to a website, I can't go to another without closing my current one so I can go to my homepage, which is google.

If the Menu Bar is hidden then press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

I had the same problem and the fix was so easy that I felt a little silly after spending 2 hours with an Apple Technician. At the end of it all, what I had to do was make sure ALL music was deleted from my iPhone 5 by going into usage and clearing out the music folder. All I had to do then was turn my phone off and turn it back on again. I had not done this after my phone upgraded to the new 7.0 IOS. What's the first thing you do when experiencing computer problems? Reboot! It fixed my problem and now my iPhone 5 synchs perfectly when I had it connected to my computer. I am also on iTunes version 11.1.

What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

It is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.

Try this general troubleshooting procedure:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder: User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks and Yosemite, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

No, unfortunately, when you format a drive, it will erase all the contents. So you will need to find a temporary "storage" place to put the stuff using a PC so you have access to it. Then reformat using Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities). If only using with mac, format Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and use GUID Partition scheme under Partitions/Options. After formatting, you can drag the files back.

I just spent several hours dealing with this when switching to a new PC. It was extremely frustrating as I knew my files were on my external HD but no matter how many times I copied my old iTunes folder over the files were still missing...because dummy me had forgotten to "unhide folders" on my new PC and my old files were actually stored in a hidden folder created long long ago.
This is how I did it on Windows 7 with iTunes 10
1. Look in iTunes Advanced Preferences to see where iTunes is saving files. (Edit, Preferences, Advanced)
Example: C:/Users/Woildbill/My Music/iTunes/Music
2. Ensure you are able to see hidden files - Control Panel, Folder Option, View, Show Hidden Files
3. Use Your Computer's Search Function to Locate the Missing File (Start, Search, type name of song - I started my search in "My Music" folder but be sure to expand to entire Computer if not found right away)
4. In Search Results, right-click found folder and select properties. This will tell you where the file is actually stored.
5. Use Windows Explorer (right-click start) to navigate to the location of the file. It is likley your other missing files are in the same location.
6. In Windows Explorer, copy the newly located files to the iTumes location from Step 1 and everything should work again.

ITunes can only perform one thing at a time

Ever since updating to the latest version of iTunes on my dual core mac mini, iTunes can only perform one task at a time beach balling the entire time. For example if it is downloading a podcast, and I try and watch something off my apple tv via home sharing on this library, it fails to load. Same thing if it is syncing my iPhone.
Importing new media into my library also seems to take much longer than it did before, for instance importing a 700mb movie takes ~20 hours.
What can cause such a degrade in performance?

Back up your drive now. Slow copying may be one sign a drive is about to fail, because it is having to repeat a lot of actions many times.
What does Disk Utility say about the SMART status in get info? Have you verified the hard drive with DU's first aid?
