Help! I zoomed in on a picture online and now I can't zoom out enough for my desktop to return to normal. How do I get my desktop back to its regular dimensions?
I zoomed in on a picture online by holding control and open pinching and for some reason, my desktop was enlarged as well. How I can't zoom out enough for my desktop to return to normal? I would like to be able to see my whole desktop without scrolling over to see the time or the file menu!
Hold down the Control key and drag two fingertips down the trackpad toward you.

HELP! I attempted to erase free space and now I can't open any files!
Hi everyone! I hope you can help me with my problem.
Last night, I attempted to erase free space from my HD using disk utility. During the operation, the computer hung, so it wasn't able to complete 'creating temporary file' operation. So i had to stop the operation. And now, I can't open any files! Turns out my HD was full. But prior to my attempt to erase free space, I still had 25GB out of 55GB of free space. What happened? And how do I fix it? A lot of important files are in my HD and I don't want to lose any of it.
Hope somebody could help me. Thanks a lot!

iBook G4 14" Mac OS X (10.4.6)Hi, Scary isn't it? I did the self same thing. Check your trash, you should see one or more disk images there. Empty the trash. All will be OK thereafter.
If they're not there, restart and either the system will sort itself out or they will appear in the trash, so empty it.

I have my card from my camera in my printer and it is blinking, the untitled box comes up on the desktop then Iphoto pops up and nothing happens at all use to do it on its own. How do I force this to load the pictures

The untilted thing is when i put the camera card into the printer slot a box on the right hand side comes up on the desk top it is a picture of a white box with a open slot in the front and it states Untitiled. If I take the card out this box goes away
I am trying to download pictures. Use to be I put the card into the printer, iphoto would open and then you could choose which new picutres you wanted to import. Now iphoto opens up and does not show any new pictures, there is no import at the bottom right and it just sits there. I would like to load pictures that I have taken all summer. My current version of my computer is Mac OS X 10.5.8. can i upgrade my mac to other software versions to then get the new itunes? I know my computer may seem old, but as my husband and I both have full time jobs (in front of computers) we really don't use our home computer much. It still runs great and i do not want to buy a new $2,000 computer when i have a perfectly working one right now. Please help me find a solution to this. Thanks!

The first step in Upgrading... is to Snow Leopard = OS X 10.6.x
It is Not available as a download... It is a Paid Upgrade.

looking for idiot proof directions on how to restore my pictures and music to my iMAC. It was services and the hard drive cleared of my files. I've reinstalled office 2011 and am now trying to ficture out how to get the pictures and music back. I backed up the machine prior to the service call, but don't seem to know how to restore the pictures and music.
It all depends on how you made the backup and with what application. How was the backup created?

Help! Empty home folder, vanished sparse bundle, and now I can't log in -
I was trying to free up space on my MacBook Pro and looking into the biggest space-eaters on my hard drive, and ran across something huge called a sparse bundle. I did some research, and at first thought this was a backup of my home folder, and with space so tight decided to delete it, figuring I'd backup externally later. Luckily it wouldn't empty from trash, and I pulled it back onto my desktop. I then learned that it was my own user home folder compressed into a sparse bundle by File Vault. (Yikes!) I tried to return it to my user folder but couldn't. I thought that maybe if I turned off File Vault it would work, so I tried. Instead my account logged out and I got an alarming message saying I couldn't log back onto this account due to an error.
I tried to access my account from the outside, as a root user, and saw to my shock that my home folder is now completely empty. The last I saw the sparse bundle was sitting on my desktop - where is it? Was it somehow deleted? If so, is there any way to recover it? I didn't make a backup, stupid me. I've seen other forum postings but they're not quite on point- Any help would be hugely appreciated!!!I don't use File Vault, but have experimented with it a bit.
Are you on Tiger or Leopard? You've posted in the Leopard forum, but your signature says you're running Tiger.
The reason I ask is, I understand File Vault is handled somewhat differently on Tiger vs. Leopard; if you're really on Tiger, you might do better in the Tiger forum: http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=758
But I suspect nobody in the forums will be able to answer this one -- it's quite unusual. You're probably going to have to either make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store, or call AppleCare. -
This has made it basically unusable, when I've only had my ipad for 3 days. What can I do?
In the event that you turned on Zoom in Settings>General>Accessibilty>Zoom>On .... Try triple clicking the home button and if that returns the screen to normal - go the settings and shut it off. You can also try double tapping with three fingers and drag to change Zoom.
If you didn't enable Zoom, reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

hello i recently got an iphone3gs n everything was working fine up until i changed my password for my email. i'm ale to login thru my computer and the browser on the iphone it just wont work on the email app and WLM app. any ideas??
Make sure you change the password EVERYWHERE. Sometimes i forget to change it in SSL or whatever it is called . Anyways, i've tested iOS 5 and it includes Hotmail emails directly and iCloud emails, making everything a bit easier . Also syncs A LOT of things between your iDevices and computer. Like email accounts, emails and more. Http://icloud.com/ also has some nice features like emails, iWork sharing, photo's and more!

I just updated iTunes to the latest version and now I can't play more than half of my songs. When I click on a song it comes back and states that it can't find it and prompts me to try and locate it. I don't know where to look. Help!!!!

I'm assuming you have a free account and created a form. You can just delete it and then you can create another. The free account allows you to have up to 1 form at a time. You just need to delete to create another.

Help! I have 2 problems related to iPhoto:
1: I accidentally ran iPhoto Library Upgrader on my Picture folder and now I have to right click on it to "show contents" instead of double clicking on it and looking at it in Finder. I cannot figure out how to fix my Pictures Folder so that I can click on it and view it in Finder, when I double click on it Terminal opens up with this message "Pictures - Bash 80x24" and

I do have old back ups, but they are from April, and I recently imported 5 months of photos from my iPhone, so the iPhoto Library I copied after showing contents is the one I need.
