HELP! iDVD Extra Resources crashed iDVD!

Question

I am running iDVD 08 on OS 10.5.1 and installed the additional resources from the OS X install disc that came with my iMac, but after the install, I get a message that says "The application iDVD quit unexpectedly." What should I do to fix this? The error report and system configuration is below.

Yes, it just that simple. All you have to do to understand this problem is to look at the log that was posted.

There is a framework missing from the iDVD app bundle. So now you can see how telling the user to delete com.apple.iDVD.plist is just silly, that's never going to bring back the missing framework. A reinstall is what's needed. And this must be done with iDVD trashed, or the installer will see that iDVD is already installed and the problem will not be fixed. And appzapper is not needed just to put iDVD in the trash.
