Help if you can, student and need phone now.

Hi, yesterday morning when I unplugged my phone from the wall charger I noticed there were too small black oval shapes on the top center of my screen. Being late for school I didn't really mind it.. Through out the day do, it's as if it extended to my right side of the screen and to my left. There are still two black oval circles on the top, now one side of the screen flips from different colors and lines and the other flips from white to black. I can't see anything!!
How can i fix this? Will blackberry cover me for this? I run my hand over the screen and I can't feel any scratches or bumps or marks. I dropped it once the first time I got it, but it was less than a foot, and nothing happened to it. I'm with telus and in canada.. Any and all help is appreciated.

It does not tell the viewer anything. Only someone who is curious and has time on his hands will look at your question.
Your initial post did not really describe the problem and your question. You don't provide the reader with specifics.
I am explaining what I think cknelsen meant because we probably is trying to be helpful but the language barrier is getting in the way.
I suggest you read the link. Be more specific in telling the reader what you need help with. Repost your question with a subject like "Need help with modifications to a BufferedImage object".

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created.

1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

thank you for the help. I should have said I had a iphone 3. A friend has the same phone and she showed me how she can see what web pages are open when she double taps the home button. Mine is set to bring up favourites when I double tap (chosen from settings>general>home button).. BUT my choices are only HOME; SEARCH; PHONE FAVORITES; CAMERA or IPOD. I changed my choice to HOME but that just defeats the purpose as when I am at the home page and double tap nothing happens. Am I making sense?

Most of the current Apple Intel based computers are comparable in CPU speed. I don't think it is so much the model of laptop as it is the memory, and storage capacity of the machine. If you are going to use FCP on a regular basis, perhaps as a professional or semi-professional, then you should think about the maximum memory and a very large capacity internal disk drive. For instance, one hour of finished compressed video will take up about 1.5 to 2Gbytes of disk space. If you add up the raw footage and still imagery and audio, you'll use up your disk drive capacity real quick. So a hard disk on the order of 750Gbytes @ 7200rpms might be good for video editing. 5400RPMs might be slow to rendering times. Rendering a video might take up a lot of memory so more memory is better e.g. 8Gbytes.
As a rule of thumb, once you get to about 80% of your disk drive or memory you'll see degradation of performance.
You can check out macsales.com. THey have a menu system that will allow you to pick and choose from various alternatives. BTW, it's been said that although Macs are typically spec'd at a certain memory size, macsales.com found that Apple computers will actually support higher memory levels. That is, if 4Gbytes are spec'd, some machines support 6Gbytes. macsales.com will provide the guidance for you.
You might also consider buying an external disk e.g. 500Gbytes to carry around with you for back-up or transport to another machine.

XBox 360 and WRT54GS no one can fix this. Please help if you can?

I'm totally out of ideas here and would appreciate it if someone could help me? We have 2 XBox 360's both with the Microsoft XBox wireless adapters. My son has had his since they first came out whatever year that was. My youngest daughter got hers last October. Both XBox's connect to XBox LIVE without a problem via a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router. The problem we can't solve is - my oldest daughter and son-in-law live about a mile from us and they have an XBox 360. When we try to connect to their XBox (or anyone else that's local) to play against her and her husband, it won't connect and gives us a "Disconnected" prompt every time. They have no problem connecting to other XBox's locally but we, for some reason, can't. I can connect our XBox directly into our cable modem bypassing the Linksys and it connects to them, so it isn't the cable modem. I've changed settings on the router, internet, XBox with no luck. I've updated the firmware. I've read thru posts on the internet for weeks and now my brain is mush. Is this fixable or do I need to buy a new wireless router? Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with anything but we have 3 PC's and 3 DVR's also connected to the internet but are hard wired. My kids and grandkids have DSi's, a Playststion3, and a Wii and those all connect via wireless and work great. XBox has this WRT54GS listed as compatable. I'm stumped. I know there's some really sharp folks out there somewhere.......please help if you can? Thanks for any help you could offer!

Have you opened the ports on the router....?
If not then,you need to open ports 53-3074 on the router..Read this link. Also,under the security tab on the router,uncheck Block Anonymous Internet Requests and click on Save Settings...

Most likely your phone is carrier locked to a different carrier than the SIM card you're using. It will activate and operate only with the carrier to which it's locked.

You could use Microsoft Office for Mac, but I would recommend iWork! It's a better set of applications for a much better price. I have used both and I prefer it over Office. And Pages can not only open Word documents, you can also save documents in Word format. My brother and I both used iWork as an Office substitute when we were in college (I graduated a few years ago and he just graduated last night) and haven't had any compatibility issues. Without the Apple ID and password the phone was originally activated with, you will not be able to activate the phone. No one here can help you, and neither can Apple. So, unless you or your friend can remember that ID, you will never be able to activate the phone.

If I try to sync --I get the message that ipod can be synced w only one computer and if I sync with this library (which only shows new purchases from itunes) it will replace everything that is currently on ipod

Why can't the songs be transferred to the device? Is it because they are not authorized? Were these 25 tracks purchased/downloaded with the same account you have used to authorize the PC/new iTunes library?

Did I Kill My eMac? Dead hard Drive? Help if you can!

I don't know what happened, but here's the setup (Please help if you can). emac with 10.4.6 768 RAM. I was going to copy a DVD using Toast. I put in the original and as usual, the computer grabbed the files, then opened the tray and asked me to put in a blank DVD. I wasn't at the computer at the time, and by the time I was back in the office, the computer had gone to sleep, with the tray open, waiting for me to put in a blank. I touched the mouse to wake it, and nothing happened. I touched the return key, and nothing happened. I moved the mouse, tapped return repeatedly and nothing happened. After waiting a few minutes, and having no luck trying to use force quit, or anything else, I finally held the power button till it shut off. Waited a bit and went to start it again. When powered up, I got the usual happy Mac chime chord. The screen blinked grey a couple times, went to a blue screen with a flashing file folder/question mark logo. Which to me means it can't find the system or the HD. As I had it handy, I popped in Tech Tool, restarted off that CD and it could not find the hard drive either. Frustrated, went to bed. Today, I've unplugged and let it sit. Reset the PMU, zapped the pram, and started off the system install disc..that also couldn't find the HD for installing. When I opened disk Utilties it at least listed the HD as existing, but when I highlighted it and clicked on "repair" I got a message that said " Invalid B-Tree Node size. Volume Check Failed. Volume could not be repaired because of an error. And also a poop up window that said "the underlying task reported failure on exit". None of which sounded too good to me!
Any tricks left for me to try to bring this baby back to life? Note that this IS one of the models with the power supply/video issues that I have not had repaired,k as it's 200 miles to the Apple shop, and I have to bring it in, have them look at it, order the parts, wait till they get them in, fix it, then drive back to fetch it, which just hasn't been in my schedule yet.
It's like the hard drive just isn't running. I don't hear any of the drive "thinking" sounds when I try to start it up.
Is plugging in an external firewire drive and installing the system on that an idea? Something that would get me by for a while anyway? I'm getting by with my iBook, but for the wook I do, it's pretty touch on a 12" laptop! Luckily any real critical files and stuff I do have backed up on DVD, but I'd like to get 'er going!
Any ideas welcome!

That's a temperamental Tiger is it not? I've heard hard shutdowns can cause problems, but that is pretty unforgiving.
There is little point trying to reinstall without first attempting to correct the 'Invalid B-Tree Node size' error.
So your Tech Tool pro disk was no help. Hmm.
The fastest and most expensive option would be to buy DiskWarrior which could fix the corrupt file structure on the disk.
Before that you could try and start in FireWire target disk mode where you put your iBook's HD on the eMac's Desktop, then insert the Tech Tool pro disk into the iBook and running it from the iBook's drive see if it can see the eMac's drive and perform a repair on it.
