only mac I use is ipad,and 2 iphone 4's completely lost here...so here's my story I have a macbook pro t2600 2.16ghz Intel core duo and 1gb 667 mhz ram i know its old so here is my problem I want to upgrade to snow leopard but i read you have to fresh install tiger first now i burnt a copy of tiger 10.4.11 which is my current os x and it says max os x 10.4 cannot b einstalled on this machine now i know my dvd is burnt but its a legit copy from a friend 10.4.11 tiger disk well anyway i scavenged the internet to find that you have to have the cd that came with the mac to do a fresh install **** this mac is 6 years old how do i begin to find a disk that fits my exact macbooks model? why did apple not make there os disks universal? and where should i look to find my disk so i can make the transtion and do you think i will be able to upgrade once i have everything

Nonsense, that is an illegal copy for you to use and is probably machine specific so you cant use it anyway.

You purchase a retail version of Tiger not a machine specific one.
Where is your Tiger disk, the one that came with your MBP?
In any case in as much as you don't need a fresh install get a legal copy of Snow Leopard.

Is there a way to de-activate 'play the multimedia content this one time' warning dialog box? I don't want to tweak the 'manage trust' for each user's pc, but somehow get rid of the warning dialog box all together regardless of person's adobe reader setup.

My first guess would be for you to zoom in and make sure your cycle start and end times are at the measure X.1.1.1 point
If you're in record mode, I'd check to see if my Count-in setting are where I want them to be,
Project settings->recording- General-> when beginning: X
or maybe it's just glitching out for some reason. I've run into situations where it glitches, and I quit and restart and it works fine afterward. maybe quit and restart?
I looked through the manual, in case I run into the problem some time in the future, and I didn't see anything, but you might wanna dig through the Cycle Mode section

If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. I have been working on a new computer build with heavy CS5 usage in mind, particularly After Effects and Premiere. I have regular access to free cameras and gear, and I need an editing machine to facilitate a few personal projects This machine will be the kernel of a home studio, but will also be used for more ordinary internet / bill-paying types of work as well.

The price on my build right now is $3,956.00. Yikes!! I need help squeezing the total pricetag of this rig to a more manageable number, hopefully under $3,000. However, I know that I am purchasing literally everything in the system brand new, including things like monitors, speakers, the keyboard, etc, so my pricetag will be a bit higher than most builders in this forum.
As you'll see, I just mostly went on Newegg and selected the highest-rated component that was in a comfortable price range for me. A little about me /my needs and usage:
I went to film school. I'm not an editor per se, but I did a number of experimental compositing and animation projects, things that I'd like to resurrect, polish up, and put in my reel. I also plan to use this machine to digest projects that are not yet shot. With this machine, I'll be making the switch from Apple systems to PC.
Formats I'd like to be working with in the future:
-Sony SxS cards (XDCAM EX)
-Many flavors of DV video (DVCPROHD, DV, AVCHD, HDV)
-HDSLR footage (native H.264-based streams)
-Maybe RED footage?
I've never built a computer by myself before, but I have friends that have, who can help me. The components I've selected for this build were based mostly on advice I'd read in this forum, particularly Haarm's many guides for newbies like me
I do NOT need to be the fastest kid on the block, but I do want to build a reliable system the RIGHT WAY. I don't want to be cheap about cooling. For the HDD system, I want optimized data throughput that is structured in a sensible way.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who bothers to read even 1/2 of all that stuff, let alone anyone who makes helpful suggestions on how I can bring down the price of this system.

I will try and explain this as clearly as possible, let me
know if I failed and I will attempt to clear it up.
The application keeps track of orders as they go through
phases of production. Lets assume there are two phases of
production, phase1 and phase2 with 3 statuses in each phase, new,
open, complete. (depending on the phase an order can be in more
than one phase at once.)
There is a phase_log table which is a reference table that
has a row for every time the order's status changes.
Lets say the row in the phase_log table looks like this:
phase_logID | OrderID | PhaseID | StatusID | etc...
The main page will have a table for each phase, showing a
list of the orders that currently have rows in the phase_log table
for that phase. The kicker is, I only want to pull one row (the
latest status change which will consequently be the highest status
ID) for each order per phase.
once I pull the data I guess I can populate a struct or
array, but I am new to this and I can't figure out how to get the
query/s I need to get it.

Help in deploying the application on sun One Webserver

I have downloaded the Sun OneWebserver. I need to migrate our application from JWS2.0 to Sun One.
All the classes/servlet files should be under WEB_INF folder correct?
Where is this WEB_INF folder? should i use one which is in iPlanet\Servers\bin\https\webapps\instance-app\WEB-INF
or should i create one in \iPlanet\Servers\https<machine name>.
One more thing is in iPlanet\Servers\bin\https\webapps\ , I have three directories, admin-app,instance-app or user-app. what is significance of each?

DO NOT overwrite or change anything in the iPlanet\Servers\bin\https\webapps directory. Those apps are for administering the web servers.
To deploy your own apps do one of the following:
If your app is in a self contained war file:
Deploy it using the web GUI for the server or from command line - lookup the "Programmer's Guide to Servlets" for more info.
If your app is not in a war file:
Open the web-apps.xml config file for your virtual server and add the following sub-element in <VS> element:
<web-app uri="/hello" dir="C:/temp/helloworld"/>
Where uri is the app URI from server root and dir is the directory where your app is located.
Once you have saved the file, go to GUI and click on "Apply" and then "Load configuration files".

just use the F1 help on CP in ABAP code, there is a description.
I think you need to use the asterix '*' than it will work.

I discovered something strange this morning.....I found a nick (or scratch) at the very hidden area on the Book. It's on the very bottom side lower left corner of the screen, which seats below the "gap" area, right on top of the lower left corner of the bolt on the screen.
I have never taken the computer outdoor....it works like a desktop since I bought new, and nothing seems have got to it, because it's very hidden
Even the USB ports, which I have plug/unplug cables many times, don't even have any marks
The spot is so tight that nothing can easily get to it, I even have trouble to try to get my fingers over it and feel the scratch...
But, I was able to feel it....it appears like something sticking up....like the skin of the metal gets peeled up, or a deep scratch

Yes, I bought photoshop on ebay. Yes, it was stupid. Yes, I've read the mega sticky on how insane it is. Let's just say I was drunk that day. Anyhoo, I want to make sure that this copy is definitely pirated before I go after this guy. Just wanted to ask a few questions about what a genuine photoshop dvd looks like.
Is there supposed to be a series of numbers on the underside of the inner circle? All mine says is "Adobe Photoshop CS4"
Should there be holograms on the back of the dvd case?
Help would be majorly appreciated. Not getting anywhere with Adobe (unsurprisingly).

Usually not. Adobe doesn't use hologram stickers or any such stuff, so it's a good guess that someone overshot the mark by making it look all too "genuine". Regarding the labeling on the disc, I'm afraid there's not much to say about it. Any optical media has its manufacture number and if you are lucky, a matrix code, but other info such as the volume label/ disc name have no meaning. Anyone can put them there. As Marian said - you can only try.
