Help iMac update 10.6.3 to 10.6.7!! error updating SL combo

I upgraded from leopard 10.5.8 to SL 10.6.3 yesterday. Everything went smooth until i tried software updates
I'm trying to get the 10.6.7 update combo but i get this error everytime the update has finished installing. It says some error occured, the installer couldn't expand and try installing again after restart. I've restarted 100 times since yesterday.
So far i've repaired disk permissions and verified disk. I've cleared most of my Third party Apps. Installed Snow Leopard again (on top of this one, i'm scared to do a clean install dont wanna lose my stuff from Mail.app) I've googled this issue and turns out it's not just me!!!! Its driving me mad now. Everything else seems to be running good infact my mac is much more faster. Pls help me out thanks

I have the same problem as gogsum. I have tried to update to 10.6.7 using both the software update and the combo web download. The Software Update crashes on 'restart' and states 'The update could not be expanded and may have been corrupted during download'. The combo download from the web site, fully downloads and then states, either 'Image Data Corrupted' or if I try to open the file from down loads 'Checksum error'.
I have been on the phone to Apple Support...who whilst being helpful with suggestions are not solving the problem. So far we have:
1     Deleted all Cache files - No effect
2     Created a new account with full permissions - No effect
3     Reinstalled the operating system - No effect
4     Backed up the hard drive, erased it, done a clean install from DVD and tried both the combo and software update - No effect
I tried looking through the various MacForums and this post is an exact match however, I have logged onto my Netgear router, disabled the SPI Firewall, powered off all devices, rebooted and tried again.... - no effect.
If you run the Software Update it will install every other update with no issues, it's just the OS update.
I keep telling myself that it's working perfectly besides the fact it wont update the operating system but I'm getting close to throwing a perfectly good Mac out of the window, it is driving me insane.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, the iPhone won't update and is stuck. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

That is a very old version belonging to Snow Leopard. I take it you are not actually running Yosemite.
Upgrading to Yosemite
You can upgrade to Yosemite from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Yosemite can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.

Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

You can't. The iPhone 3G can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. It hardware does not suport a higher iOS.

There is no plus sign and going into optins and changing settings has not worked. I have uninstall FF and reinstall-keeping my personalization-and that was no help.
Right clicking on FF Icon to open a new tab, or going up to FF drop down tab and clicking on new tab both do not work.
Help everything opens a new window not a new tab. there seems to be no way to reset this or to chose a different optin. I just downloaded new tabs at end addon and it didn't do a thing.

Please Help iMac 20" refuses to boot up with anymore than 1gb ram? It was fine 4 days ago and had been working with a 1gb stick in one slot and a 2gb stick, which had replaced the orignal 1gb stick that I got it with, in the other and it had shown 3gb of ram and was working just fine with that since November? It went to sleep briefly 4 days ago while I was waiting on a customer and I came back to try to wake it up and it never would forcing me to hard boot it. When I did that it would only go to a black screen with a solid white light on the power indicator. Over and over again and same thing. I read and tried every suggestion I could possibly find in this and a few other mac forums to no avail.
I finally after reading about RAM issues etc. I decided to power off and take out the ram sticks and try them one at a time in each slot. So I took out the 2gb stick and did the SMC reset and it would boot up and work just fine with the 1 gb of ram. So then I went through the same process with the 2gb stick and it would not boot up only go to a black screen with white solid light again (NOT flashing). So then I tried the other original 1gb I had replaced with the 2gb and it worked just find like the other 1gb. So then I tried just 1gb stick in the other ram slot (back facing one) and with just the 1gb strip it booted up and worked fine. Tried it with the other 1gb stick and once again that one too worked just fine. So I determined it wasn't the slot itself I thought? I then tried the 2gb in the back slot and it would not boot only go to the black screen white solid light deal like before. So I thought well ok it's obviously the 2gb ram must have somehow went bad (even though I have only had it since November) and I thought well I will just use the (2) 1gb sticks in each slot and then that will at least give me 2gb because only 1gb really ***** LOL. So I proceeded to go through the same shut down process installed both sticks (I always push them to I feel them click and my fingers have a nice indention on them) reset the SMC and turned the power one and.... It would only go to the black screen with white solid light on power indicator???? I went through the same above process at least 3 times and again today a few times and I can't figure it out and I tried to search and search and I couldn't find anything like what I am experiencing.....What happened? Please help this slow Imac is killing me. It will work with 1gb ram only nothing more? Here are the specifics of my Imac.
It is a 20" Late 2006 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16 ATI Radeon X1600 256 MB graphics card and Ram with now only 1gb (did have 3gb) and I am running OSX Lion 10.7.5
When I go to system report and go under memory it shows this:

The Memtest just completed and came back like this? It only test the single 1gb chip because anything more in this computer it won't go past the black screen with solid white power light.

Just restore your bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup.

You have already asked this question once. You did not get any good answers, because you the information you gave was insufficient. And I'm afraid that the information is still in sufficient.
Or more exactly, from the example you have given, the answer is: can't be done. And the reason it can't be done, is as I explained in response to you first thread: there is no information in the data to from which we can deduce that Clorox Company
should be under "Week 1-1,K.B,F". The fact that rows are listed in a certain order in the screenshoot is of no importance, because a table is an unordered object.
But you said in another post that you have a timestamp column. Maybe that column is usable - maybe it is not. But at least it is a key that you have more columns that the ones you show.
The best way to get help with this type of problems is to post:
1) CREATE TABLE statement for your table(s).
2) INSERT statements with sample data.
3) The desired result given the sample.
4) A short description of the actual buisness problem you are trying to solve.
5) Which version of SQL Server you are using.
This makes it easy to copy and paste into a query window to develop a tested solution. Screenshots with an insufficient amount of data is not going to help you very much.

Keynote 6 is compatible with Mavericks only, your profile states you are using Snow Leopard, if thats the case use Keynote version 5 and all will work as before.

MAC OS 10.6.8 Using Safari 5.1 Needing Help With Updating Adobe Flash

Recently Adobe Flash installed an icon in my System Preferences and when I click the icon there are several tabs. One allows updates to check automatically. It says it will install the latest version of Flash without having to remove the previous version, but I have never been told that a newer version is available unless I clcik "check now." although "Check for updates automatically" is checked, I do not know where it tells me a newer version is available. Also, there has been 5 "newer versions" available since this icon was installed in System Prefeences, I have only found out about the newer versions when I clicked "Check Now." If I read that with this new way to install the latest Mac version of Flash does not require me to uninstall the previous version of Flash how do I install the most recent version of Flash? Does it come in an email?
Since it is not telling me that there is a more recent version of Flash unless I click "Check Now" should I still do it the way I used to install the latest version of flash? (The way before this icon was added to System Preferences)?
I would appreciate help with updating Flash to the most recent version. I used to uninstall the older version, restart the browser and download the most recent version and install it. It always worked find but this was before there was an Adobe icon in my system Preferences.

The way you used to do this (uninstall, restart the browser, etc.) is still definitely valid and probably the "safest" way to get a new version installed. Uninstalling shouldn't be required, but it definitely doesn't hurt. If you feel comfortable doing it the old way, please feel free to continue using that process.
As for notifications, this is a bit trickier, but in general you should be notified within 30 days (or so) after a new player is released. This usually occurs when the browser loads swf content. Clicking the button will, like you mention, immediately check. Another alternative to finding out when a new player is released is to subscribe to our Flash Player Releases feed.
Is there a way to be automatically notified when a new Flash Runtime release is made?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Adobe software is conflictive when you use Migration Assistant because their applications don't work properly after migration. If you keep the DVDs or the installers of your software, use them to reinstall all your Adobe applications and they should start working correctly
