Help in CCMS

We are trying to configure CCMS. Would like to know the method to configure on failed background jobs.  We need alerts when a particular job fails continues for more than 3 times. Is there way to configure the same. Please advice.

As far as I know alert will be raised at the time of a failure... I don't think theres a standard solution to raise that to 3

    Does anybody know how or where I can get information about CCM 2.0 standard characteristics data structure?
    Or maybe the table name that holds this information?
    I need the following info:
    1. List of all Standard CCM 2.0 Characteristics
    2. Characteristics Data types (i.e Char)
    3. Characteristice Field lengths
    I have looked into the SAP help for CCM 2.o and the on SAP Servicemarketplace under instguides&IBC....could not find every thing I wanted.

  • Ccms alert for RFC service

    I have a simple task that i was told to monitor.
    There is RFC to a remote non-sap system that is setup in SM59.  This non-sap system some times stops responding.  I would like to setup a CCMS alert specific to this RFC.  I have tried creating all kinds of alerts and methods but have not been successful.
    Does anyone have a simple steps on how I go about creating a simple alert specifically monitoring a particular RFC connection?
    I have looked at sdn ccms page and help on ccms from sap help, but they have not 'helped'.

    For any application server with a single instance,whenever it would stop working, would mean that the message server has gone down.In such a case, how is a system suppose to respond?
    Do correct me if I am wrong here.

  • Error 404 when opening CUCM Console Help

    Hi all:
    From some time back, I'm receiving this error message everytime I try to open Help in the CUCM 6.0
    type Status report
    message /ccmadmin/Help/es_UY/ccm/index.html
    description The requested resource (/ccmadmin/Help/es_UY/ccm/index.html) is not available.
    I have uninstalled IE and reinstalled and it is the same. I have tried with same IE version on another PC and it is working

    Hi,
         Can multiple background job be monitored with the help of CCMS.If yes then    is it adviseable to go ahead with that or not?
         Say the number of jobs to be monitored are 1000 in SCM.....
         If yes plz suggest me how the same can be done ?

    Yes Multiple jobs can be monitored using CCMS .. You dont have to monitor all the jobs , you can restrict it by entering the job name in ALBTCMON . The following link will be helpful

        You can see the details about user last logon & logoff by different ways.
    1)run the tcode suim->user ->By logon date and password Change->for all users logon details just enter(f8),again if you want a perticuler user's logon details just write down the name of the user & then execute.
    2)run the tcode se16->write table name usr02->execute you will able to see the users logon details.
    3)With the help of CCMS also You can see the last logon details
    rz20-> expand ccms monitor templates-> entire system->instance no->expand systen configuration->named user.

    You may refer SAP help on CCMS to get the list of MTEs to be configured for spool monitoring.

    Spool numbers that every output request is assigned

    Percentage usage of the spool numbers; you must delete old output requests before this number reaches 100 percent
    Status
    Is only displayed if the spool service belongs to an SAP application server

  • Where can I download JUST the uninstallers? A Catch 22 mystery....

    I'm in a weird Catch 22 situation, I recently wiped my hard drive and used a backup disk to reinstall everything, but for whatever reason, I didn't get either the Adobe CC uninstaller or the CS6 uninstaller. I have everything else, but not those. The problem is that the installation didn't work correctly and now I need to uninstall all my Adobe programs, but of course, I can't because I don't have the uninstallers...
    So
    What is the link to just the two uninstallers I need?

    because you said, that you tried "de- and install" already, so it could become a little bit complicated. It would be necessary that you have to use "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool". Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!) So please use: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html   and follow the prescribed sequence of operations.

    I believe that your question is how to monitoring SAP systems.
    A good point to start is the RZ20. You do find there a lot of MTEs to monitor the SAP and also the Operating System.

  • Videoconfrence : Help with MCU to configure in CCM

    Hi,
    I have a confusion with the configuration of the MCU in CallManager when i want to have a multipoint videoconference where 3 SCCP viedo endpoints(7985) and 1 Polycom video endpoint (H.323) participate all in the same confenrence!
    Here is attached the architecture of my videoconference deseign.
    I have activated SCCP and H.323 on the MCU.
    I have added the MCU as a conference bridge in CCM, and configured MRGL to use this Conference Bridge.i associated the MRGL with the 3 video SCCP endpoint(7985) and now i can do Multipoint videoconference between the three video endpoints (7985)!!
    The problem that i want to the Polycom participate and to initiate a videoconference with the other SCCP endpoints.
    I have added a gatekeeper, i registered the MCU (H.323 activated) with the gatekeeper!! In CCM i added the gatekeeper and added a trunk Gatekeeper controlled!!
    Now here is my problem: what else to do in CCM??
    Should i create a route pattern that points to the trunk ??
    or should i add the MCU as a H.323 gateway and a route pattern that points to the this H.323 gateway???
    PLz help me, i really have a serious problem.

    i think that the most difficult part is done now.
    plz can u tell me first of all if the bridge is registered with the callmanager?in the administration page of the CCM, click SERVICE >> MEDIA RESOURCE >> CONFERENCE BRIDGE.
    Then u have to find your bridge configured (u should see it's IP address).
    If this is done, so u need to configure a service (SCCP activated)in the MCU.
    U need to login to ur mcu with a browser, then click SERVICES >> ADD , and u need to activate the SCCP field, then choose ur video and audio parameters.
    If this is done so to start a videoconference(between 3 persons for example) all u have to do is :
    If u have 3 persons : A,B and C (and u'r the person A)
    so A calls B normally, here a point to point videocall should be established (done by the CCM), then to make multipoint videoconference, u shoud click on the button MORE of ur phone, u'll see the word CONF, click CONF, u enter the number of the third person and when he hangs on the phone u click an other once on CONF. then a Multipoint videoconference should be established using the bridge this once.
    unfortunately i can't have picture of my configuration because i did it in a production in another entreprise but u the online course (ICRMC) an e-learning course, had helped me a lot an there is flash videos that can give u an idea:

    I have a 5800 XpressMusic. Don't know if you need all the software stuff? But anyway... Using V 21.0.25. Not sure if it's relevant but I've only had this phone a week. However, the application manager did work at first. It just decided it'd stop working on Friday.
    My laptop is Vista, service pack 2 and 32 bits. Connecting via USB.

    I have setup CEN (my Solution Manager server) and trying to transfer the alert from CCMS to ALM.
    When I execute RZ21 (from CEN System) and Activate Central System Dispatching it gives message
    Central system tool dispatching is active; job:
    SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_DISPATCHER, user: SOLMAN, client:
    000
    but if I check SM37 for SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_DISPATCHER its not available in my CEN.
    when I check autoreaction status in rz21 it says
    Running in background CHECKED Ready
    Am I missing something.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Ragu,
    SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_DISPATCHER is an event triggered job, i.e. this job will only be listed in sm37  choosing Job status "Scheduled" and blanking out the date and time values (as long as the job was not started).
    Important regarding autoreaction using ALM: if the alert server is running in another client than the one SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_DISPATCHER is scheduled for you need to configure the correct RFC destination in transaction SALRT1.
