How do i get a live person to help with elements 13.

Need live help with elements 13. can't show video or play music. Error code says no codec on system. Can play music and show video when not in elements. downloaded Flash player and quicktime.

HELP WITH ELEMENTS 7.03 ORGANIZER...........

I had to blowout two computers in the last two days due to missing dll files on windows... I reinstalled win 8 64 bit on both of my desktop and laptop... I'm on my laptop today... I have restored most of my software and data files in directories... I have Photoshop Elements 7.0 on both... I have 10,000 photos in various formats, but mostly jpeg... They are in organized directories under Pictures...
I installed Element 7.0 and the 7.03 update on my laptop and proceeded to look for a way to get my photo in the Organizer... It would usually do this on its own, but now seem to want me to sign up for something... I had changed my email and password since the last time I purchased from Adobe... So therefore I had to update that info to see my CS4 and CS5 program purchases... Nevertheless, not all of my purchases appear under my recent ID and password info... Other older Adobe programs were not move into what is now visible... I'm wondering if that is why I can't sign into Photoshop Element 7?????
Also it seems to only look for photos in one format and most of my stuff is in bmp, tif, jpeg, ETC........
HOW CAN I GET MY PHOTOS IN ORGANIZER WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE EDITOR ONE BY ONE???????

Is it trying to get you to join photoshop.com? The easiest way around that is not to use the welcome screen. Go into the program files and make direct shortcuts for the organizer and/or editor and start PSE that way from now on. Photoshop.com is dead and gone so the welcome screen will hang up trying to connect to something that no longer exists.

Pls help. MacBook Pro is dead. What could be the problem?

My macbook pro just suddenly won't turn on, won't charge and will not let me do anything on it. I bought it Sept 2010 and I never had any problems since.
When i plug the charger there is an orange light blinking, you wont even notice it so much. The battery life indicator on the side is not working too.
Here are the things I tried with another macbook pro:
Changed charger (my charger is working)
Changed the battery (my battery is fine) and put it back.
I saw online instructions but it seems my Mac still is totally DEAD:
1. Holding down power button for 10secs
2. Reset SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
3. And Safe Boot and Fsck etc.. http://www.macworld.com/article/2018853/when-good-macs-go-bad-steps-to-take-when -your-mac-wont-start-up.html
I'm hesitating to try the dvd cause it might just get stuck inside since my Mac doesnt really respond to any.
And I could just go to the Apple Store and save time and effort but it's not that easy where I live in and I would like to have my Mac's life back asap.

Pls help - Photoshop Elements crashes when switching media types

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help. I just installed Photoshop Elements 7 and Premiere Elements 7 on a brand new HP Pavilion system running Vista, 9 GB of RAM. I then imported a catalog with ~18,000 photos and tags from Photoshop Elements v6 via backup from original system and restore to new HP system. Worked like a charm. Now I have the catalog open, and when I click on "View -> Media types -> anything else (Video, PDF, whatever)" irrespective of what I select, Photoshop Elements crashes. The error message states, "Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 (Organizer) has stopped working. A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Note this also happens when I use Ctrl-1 or other shortcuts.
Has anyone else seen this? I literally powered up the HP today, and loaded Elements and Premiere today, so it's not likely due to old software (eg I did not install Photoshop Elements 6).

Please delete the folder C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Elements Organizer\8.0\Organizer and relaunch to see if the problem vanishes.

Please help - Photoshop Elements won't open

Hi,
I just bought photoshop elements, installed it and everything was fine. Like a dope, I downloaded a graphic from a website, and tons of adware/malware was also loaded on my computer. I couldn't stand all the popups and junk, so i used the Dell Restore to restore the computer to the point right before I loaded photoshop. After that was done, I reloaded photoshop, and now I can't get in to the program. (The popups went away.) The opening screen comes up, I choose "photo editor" instead of "organize"...the moving ribbon comes up as if it was thinking, and then it goes away and the opening screen stays there. No error messages. If I choose Organize, I can get in to the photo organizing section with no problem.
I'm running Windows 7. I tried uninstalling photoshop, reinstalling it, uninstalling it, ran the cc cleaner, reinstalled it, uninstalled it and removed the preferences, rebooted a million times, uninstalled and reinstalled again....I still can't get in. If I click on a .psd file the opening screen comes up and it sill just sits there. I went into Organize and loaded an update, that went fine, but still can't get in to photoshop. I can't do the restore to an earlier date, since I installed and uninstalled the program so many times, I lost that ability.
I see a lot of people asking the same question in these forums, but I don't see any answers. Can anyone help? I appreciate any assistance you can give me! I was so excited to use the program, and now it seems like I'll be shut out until I get a new computer, which is not going to happen soon!

Quit the editor, then restart it while holding down Ctrl+alt+shift. Keep those keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

From one of your prior threads, you appear to be working in Windows 8.1 64 bit with your Premiere Elements 12.
Where are you when you say that Premiere Elements 12 will not accept your Adobe ID - are you at the Sign In dialog step of the end of the
installation? Whatever the location, what is being rejected or not recognized specifically - can you tell if it is the Adobe ID or password?
Are you working with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?

Need help finding Elements 8 Download (disc isn't working)

I have my disc and box with serial number on it. I called adobe and they told me to get a replacement disc from best buy since the disc isn't being read by my computer. There's no scratches on it at all. I literally downloaded it once, just a few months over a year ago and got a virus, where a friend wiped the hard drive. Now I'm trying to reinstall and it doesn't seem to want to read the disc. I don't know what to do. Best Buy says they can't because elements 9 is out now..so i'm supposed to just go buy that now? Please help!!
I do have my serial number so i don't need that. i just need the program! Thanks

Let's try this again going a slightly different route and with images. It sounds like you go lost along the way.
Judging from your last post your computer is Windows. I wasn't sure whether you were on Windows or a Mac.
1. First insert your disc into the DVD drive of your computer. Don't worry about the installation dialog coming up at this point.
2. Look on your desktop for the icon that is a computer and says "Computer" if on Vista or Windows7. If on XP, the icon will say "My Computer".
3. Click the "Computer" icon by pressing the button on the right hand side of your mouse. This will bring up the following menu:
4. You can either click open or explore from the context menu.
After you click either open or explore, you should see your drives including any media discs loaded in the drives.
5. Right click the drive showing PSE 8 loaded. After you right click (click drive with your mouse's right hand side button) you will get a context menu like I have in my screen capture below. Select either Open or Explore from the menu.
Above I have PSE 2 loaded in my DVD/CD-RW Drive (E). It also shows the context menu that comes up when the drive loaded with PSE is clicked with my right hand mouse button.
Above shows the folder view of the contents that reside on my PSE 2 Disc. You should see something similar when you view your PSE 8 disc in folder view.
Having went through the above steps, is the folder view of your DVD blank or do you have files and folders?

Need help reinstalling elements 10 to mac osx 10.5.8

I have a mac osx 10.5.8 I had elements 10 on it never used it. going to class for it, now trying to use it and it is frozen and says there is an error in program. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it and it is unrecognizable. help. ??????

Help downloading Elements 11 to MAC with OSX 10.6.8

I purchased Elements 11 and have attempted to download it several times. When I get a notification the download is complete, I am asked if I would like to open PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.exe. When I click "open" all I get is a dialogue box full of gibberish. When I close the dialogue box, the cycle starts again. Help!!

I went back and checked my order and it says that I purchased a download for Windows. Therefore the installer was for Windows. I pointed this out to someone at Adobe and was told to fill out a form for to exchange what I purchased for the product on a different platform. But that set for a week and nothing happened. When I asked about that, I was told there was only a single version of Elements 11 for both Mac and Windows. That appears to be true, but for some reason the version I purchased included the Windows installer and is labeled as an upgrade for the Windows version.
Please tell me what to do so I can download the upgrade for the Mac version. Thank-you in advance.

Please help! Elements 11 image quality poor compared to LR

Hello, I just started using elements and am very irritated because the image quality is very poor compared to when i am viewing in LR. Its not the conversion - i have tried pulling directly from the camear. It looks great in Camera Raw 7.1 but the second i pull it into editor, it lines get jagged. Adobe help is telling me this is normal. Surely not?? Something about a halo around pixels? Image on left is Elements 11, right is Lightroom and Zoomed in so you can see how sharp it is. PLEASE help. im so frustrated!

In the pse 11 editor are you looking at the image at 100% view (actual pixels)?
(Other viewing percents can be misleading in the pse 11 editor)
Double click on the zoom tool in the tol box to get 100% view.
Also you should be on camera raw 7.4 available from Help>Updates within the pse 11 editor.
Is that lightroom 4.4?

Value Help at element level rather than Node level...

Need your inputs on one of the scenario.
I am using the method SET_ATTRIBUTE_VALUE_SET (Sets the fixed values for an attribute) of interface IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_INFO and this allow me to see only the defined values in the dropdown.
Now let say I have 1 node with two element and want to make the valuehelp for one attribute with different-different value in both element.
Example:
Node name is PersonDetails
Attributes are ANREX (Form of address text)
                       NACHN (Last Name)
                      VORNA (First Name)
There are two elements PersonalDetails1 (MR   , XYZ , XYZ)
                                and PersonalDetails2 (MRS   , ABC , ABC)
Now for the above two elements, value help for 1st Element needs to be (MR / DR) and for second (MRS / MR / MISS).
But the method SET_ATTRIBUTE_VALUE_SET is called at NODE leveel and not at ELEMENT level and so always value help will be of type 2nd element.
You can see this scenario in infotype 0009 in which Payment Method are different for subtype 0 (Main Bank) and
5 (Main bank details for Off-Cycle).
Please let me know if any other information is required.

One attribute and two value_set would be possible only in dynamic programming. Is it feasible and workable, i doubt on that.
I would attempt to do that only when there are no other options available. You have to go back to your designers to see if they want to re look into this.

If you use a supply method, you could fill for every element a different value set.
or you could define a node in side your person-details with cardinality 1:1.You could refer coloring a table cell_editor as example.
