I can't analyze that table using dbms_packages as table is having too muchh data in TB.
Kindly suggest something else in form of sql. That's not really a reason not to use DBMS_STATS. If you're just interested in rough figures, You can use a suitable low "estimate_percent" setting, e.g. you can go as low as 0.000001 percent. You can omit column statistics using an appropriate method_opt option. Something like the following should generate minimum statistics:
exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats(
<owner>,
<table>,
estimate_percent=>0.000001,
method_opt=>'FOR COLUMNS',
block_sample=>true,
granularity=>'PARTITION'
select count(*) c from T partition (...)It might be worth to mention that if you don't have suitable index for performing the count this might take very long, too, so you could revert to the same approach than the "estimate_percent" of DBMS_STATS: You could use the SAMPLE clause to restrict the rows/blocks to sample, e.g.
select count(*) / 0.000001 c  from T partition (...) sample (0.000001) blocksYou need to scale the count by the same factor as the sample factor.

  • Can't find lens profiles on lightroom anymore...

So the other day I went to go set lens corrections on a picture in lightroom 3 (windows 7 64 bit version) and all the lens profiles were gone, except one for the apple iphone, which is no help to me. I don't know what happened. please help?
Also, I've been having issues importing photos, I keep ending up with 3 copies of each picture.
Not to mention LR keeps freezing up...

Do you mean you can only see Apple in the Make box after you enable Camera Profiles, or are other camera/lens manufacturers also listed and Apple is just the first one, with 3 iPhone model options?
If Apple is your only Make choice, then you can check to see if the profile folders and files still exist on Windows 7, since it's possible all the Adobe ones are gone or inaccessible due to some security issue, and only a custom-downloaded one is shown.
The Adobe-installed profiles are in two places:
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw
    C:\Users\All Users\Adobe\CameraRaw
And any user-installed profiles go under:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw
The AppData and ProgramData folders in the above paths are hidden or system so they won't necessarily show up in Explorer clicking down from the root of the C: drive, unless you have changed your folder options to show hidden and system files, but you can type in the path in the address bar of Explorer and get to the folders even if they are hidden.
Selecting Auto will try to find the right camera profile based on the EXIF information in the photo, but you should be able to choose Custom and select any manufacturer.  The profiles are specific for either RAW or JPG files, though.

  • Help with importing lens profile to Lightroom 5.4 for Windows

    Hi,
I'm running Adoble Lightroom 5.4 on Windows. I recently bought a Rokinon 14mm lens for Canon and have a couple lens profiles that I want to try out. I have already tried importing to the two following locations below and nothing showed up when I restarted Lightroom. Any solutions?@@
C: > Users > User > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > CameraRaw > LensProfiles > 1.0 > Then I created a folder called Downloaded > Then I created another folder inside the folder Downloaded called Rokinon and dropped the lens profiles in there.
Here is the other one I tried:
C: > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.4 > Resources > LensProfiles > 1.0 > Then I created a folder called called Rokinon and dropped the lens profiles in there.

Something is weird about this lens profile file.  It appears to be for a Canon 85mm lens, not a Samyang 14mm lens, and, as you say, this profile is for JPG files not RAW files.  If you want it to apply to raw files you need to change the CameraRawProfile from False to True.
After changing the False to True, because the Make is set to Canon you have to go to the Canon lens list not the Samyang list in the Lens Profile selection dropdown list, or edit the Make to have Samyang..
Because there is an 85 for several focal-length numbers, not 14, I think the correction being applied may be totally wrong.   Where did you get this lens profile file? The other profile file you sent has 50mm in some focal-length areas and 85 in others.
To be able to tell if this, or the other profile, is reasonable, you probably need to take a picture of something with a grid of lines, like a brick wall and see if there is barrel or pincushion distortion that is corrected or worsened.
Here is a screencapture of the file as it looks in a text editor with notes about what seems wrong:

  • Where can I find lens profile libraries?

I have a Olympus E-450 with a Olympus Zuiko 14-42 mm lens and there is a lot of spheric aberration in low focal length. I am looking an Adobe Ligthroom lens profile to correct it.

There is no internal or external lens profile built into Adobe products for your lens, and no external Olympus lenses supplied by Adobe:
There is a profile contributed by a user that is available via the lens profile downloader that is apparently for your lens on an E-510.  It's rating is only 3 out of 5 so it may not be that good, but perhaps better than nothing:
Here is a Before/After correction comparison:

  • Is there a lens profile for Canon EF100-400mm/4.5-5.6L IS II USM for Lightroom 5 ?

I have Lightroom 5.7 and Camera RAW 8.8 (Via DNG converter 8.8) in Mac OS X 10.10.2.
According to Adobe documentation there lens profile for EF100-400mm/4.5-5.6L IS II USM should be provided by Camera Raw8.8.
However, I cannot not find lens profile correction for this lens from Lightroom 5.7. Does anyone know howto enable lens profile for this lens ?

    Thanks, this workaround works:
I copied appropriate lens profile from (the .lcp file)
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0
    to:
    /Users/<my username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles

  • Lens profile support

Where can I find Lens profiles for Lightroom?
    Thanks

    Alan,
The lens Profiles are included as part of standard lightroom & photoshop installation.
If you have a raw file in Lightroom & turn on lens correction it will try to find the lens data from EXIF data and would do the lens correction.
The lenses which are included can be checked by the link below :

  • Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L Lens Profile???

    Hi
I uesed this lens for a project but i don't own it! so no chance now to creat a profile for me.
Hase someone made a profile for this lens (with no tilt or shift of corse)?
thanks for any reply or help!

The lens profile delineates corrections for geometric (barrel or pincushion) distortion and for light fall-off (vignetting). The CA correction and defringe functions are separate tools that just happen to be grouped together with profile application function and the perspective distortion tools in the same panel because there is a certain logic to having them under one roof.

  • Lens Profiles missing in Lightroom 3.3

I'd like to know if the lens profiles have being erased in lightroom 3.3....
I used other prior versions of LR and I always see my lens profiles...
How to enable or see them again??
Don't want to use the lens profile creator but something like lens profiler downloader (I saw It's named but I don't see any link to the application).
Thank you in advance for any help.
    Diego

The lens profile creator and lens profile down loader can be found here. Note the down loader is an Adobe Air application so you will also need to install Air if you haven't already.
As far as the Adobe profiles go these are installed with LR itself. They are specific to Raw or JPG's so may not have disappeared it may just be you are trying to use them on the wrong file format.
If they have somehow disappeared then you will need to reinstall LR, but check out this first.
The location of the Adobe supplied profiles is on a W 7 machine
    ProgramData/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles
Your own ones and ones downloaded by the profile down loader will be installed in the User folder.

  • LR3 final (not beta) can't find new lens profiles

Hi all.   Just downloaded and installed the production release of LR3 and was disappointed to find the lens profiles I had created and saved to the standard location  (...\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\) were not available in the lens correction panel within Lightroom.  I presume this is because lightroom is looking for them in a different directory, but it's a mystery to me where that is.  Please help.

There are two types of lens profiles, one created with the camera raw images (called the raw lens profiles) and the other created JPEG (called non-raw lens profiles). LR/ACR will only load raw lens profiles. Ideally, you want to use raw profiles in the LR/ACR workflow. In you are in a hurry and you only have a JPEG profile, check out this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/2856442#2856442 on how to turn a JPEG lens profile into a raw one.
Essentially, you open up the lcp lens profile in a text editor, and and replaced every occurence of
                      <stCamera:CameraRawProfile>False</stCamera:CameraRawProfile>
    with
                      <stCamera:CameraRawProfile>True</stCamera:CameraRawProfile>
and resave the file. Then LR/CR will be able to recognize the new profile.

  • Lens Profile Help

    Hi
    Can someone help please?
I have downloaded the lens profile tool and found one of the lenses I need.  I have downloaded it and the tool now says it is installed but I can't access it in Lightroom.  What have I done wrong?
Also I need another profile but I can't find the area the help files talk about to find it.
I have a Lumix GF1 with the standard G14/f2.5 lens.  I also have the 14-45 zoom which I really need the lens profile for
    Thanks very much

    Thanks Jeff,
    You are absolutely right.
I thought I had upgraded properly, but I had not.
Ran the updater again, and success.
    Thanks again.

  • Help with creating a lens profile

I am looking to create a lens profile but have a question about the instructions.
Do I use the same size chart for all the focus distance shots?
It is a wide angle lens with quite a close focusing distance.
If I shot with the same chart at 1x, 2x and 5x the minimum focus distance as instructed, then if I pick a chart that works at 1x (i.e. fills 1/2 to a 1/4 the frame), then it is tiny at 5x, and doesn't fill the frame anywhere near the same as at 1x of course.
Am I meant to use a bigger chart? Or start the 1x with a very small one?
    Thanks for any help.

Do you know why this lazy f&#97;rt-&#97;ss is back? Because when he posted his homework last week, some sorry-assed idiot went and did it for him.

He didn't even thank the poster.
It's the same problem over and over again. You feed the bears and it only teaches them to come back for handouts.
My polite suggestion to the original poster: please do your own f&#117;cking homework.

  • Where can I find lens correction profiles for EF 17-35 f/2.8L lens using ACR 6.2?

Using Photoshop CS5 Extended on iMac 10.6.4.
I'm  working with wedding photos shot by a friend but I cannot find lens  correction profiles for Canon EOS 20D or the EF 17-35 f/2.8L lens. When I  search online it simply says "No online profiles found". Is there a  download for older lens profiles? I checked & I'm using ACR 6.2. I don't have the camera so there's no  way to take test photos to create my own profile. But, shouldn't there  be a profile available; the camera isn't that old?

Go to DXO Pro and download the 30 day trial. It works very well for lens/body correction, and unlike Adobe, DXO maintains data on the older cameras and lenses. Updates will always have those available. Adobe is a latecomer to this part of the correction process, so as Ian said, no call, no supplier? Out of luck.
    http://www.dxo.com/intl/photo
It's fair to note that DXO does not necessarily have a complete line of everything, like my Tamron 28 to 75 isn't available as a module. They do pay attention to demands, or lack therof,  that are not mainstream as well. But their offerings are excellent, and the tests, professional.

  • Can't find my lens profile for Lumix Fz 1000,?

can't find my lens profile for Lumix Fz 1000, on Lightroom 5

You can't download it. The lens corrections are included in the photo by the camera, which are read and automatically applied by Lightroom during import. In other words, the photos you see after import are already lens corrected.
