Help in iCloud, advanced issue!!
At home, I can use iCloud in my PC very well. But at work, it seems that the firewall of my company, prevent the iCloud program from accessing the network, everything is ok, except with iCloud. I asked an IT person, he told that maybe because of the Port that iCloud uses.
Is there any other way to let iCloud for Windows 7 go through my connection??
No to simply put it.
Your IT Tech at work is most likely right if it is a port blocking issue the port will be blocked server side by the IT techs no matter what setting you change on your computer the connection still will not be allowed you will have to ask you IT Techs/Network Administrator to allow the port through the firewall.
but you might find they will simply say No

Icloud calendar: issues syncing between devices
I have an iCloud account which is sycned with my Outlook 2010 and Android calendar. It is not smooth sailing:
Appointments made in my phone appear in my Android Calendar and Outlook
Appointments made in my Android calendar appear in my phone and iCloud but not Outlook
BUT appointments from Outlook do not appear anywhere else.
So the syncng is happening correctly in some directions but not all.
I have dis- and re-connected iCloud in Windows 8/OUtlook 2010 several times and this is not resolving itself.
Can anyone suggest a way to get Outlook to talk nicely to iCloud in both directions?

Hi, Firefox on my desktop keeps crashing at just random moments. Sometimes not very often at all, but other times it can happen a few times within an hour.
My Desktop Window Manager also crashes regularly and the dialogue box always pops up saying its stopped working. However, this doesn't seem to effect anything.
It could be realated though, as I just had this desktop built a few weeks ago and a few times it's crashed as well as programs.
If anyone can help me fix this issue with Firefox, that would be great. Thanks in advance.Hi,
I updated the Flash plugin, but I still keep getting crashes.
I will try to disable the hardware acceleration in the Flash Player as you recommended and hopefully this will work.

ICloud storage issue; Restoring iPhone calendar from iMac after accidental iCloud deletion
I set up iCloud to back up calendars and contacts and for find my phone. Initially, it seemed to work alright. Then I got messages on iPhone that there wasn't enough iCloud storage, even though the storage tab showed that I had used none of my iCloud storage at all. So I turned off iCloud/contacts. In iTunes I switched back from iCloud backup to backup from my iMac.
Later I got the same message about not enough room in iCloud even though only calendars involved. So I truned off iCloud/calendar on my iPhone and was given the choice of keeping the calendars from the iCloud or deleting them (a foolish choice without a failsafe!!!). I clumsily and mistakenly hit delete. My calendars have most recently been synced with my new iMac and appear on the iMac and should also be in TM. But right now there is no data in my iPhone calendar.
When i go to calendars within the iiphone calendar there is a check next to Calender under "from MY Mac" and no reference to iCloud. (There are no separate calendars for me, my wife, and joint. Does this mean somehow these calendars have been merged because of iCloud?)
I don't want to do another sync until I can make sure that the sync with the iMac will resotre the calendar(s) to the iPnone. How do I do this?
Do I have to do anything on the iMac before I try a sync?
How do I avoid these problems in the future? The only thing I really would like from iCloud is "find my phone". How do I keep that capability without backing up or su=yncing otherwise anything through iCloud?
Is iCloud still Beta?Apple walked me through this and helped me revert to backing up on my iMac, using iCloud only for find my iPhone and iMac. The process, however, is not straightforward and what the respective mac and iPhone support people (yes, they have that kind of specialization) led me through was clearer, if somewhat convoluted, than any instructions on Apple's support or community pages.
Since my main concern was not losing my calendar and contacts information, the key was saving that, via export, to my desktop. Sorry I didn't write down all the other steps - but I see that as Apple's job. Back in the days of the IIC, Apple's manual was a model of clarity and completeness at the same time.
Bottom line is while my immediate concerns were resolved, the underlying iCloud storage issue was not. On my iPhone, I was being told that my attempts to backup to the iCloud failed because I didn't have enough storage, even though I determined almost none of my alloted space was used. This issue is not helped by the multiplicity of settings relating to iCloud, or the interfaces (such as the iCloud on the iMac through Mavericks) which present a screen of icons without additional information.
For my purposes, iCloud remains Beta. -

The photo's in your camera roll would be in a backup, if you have one (iCloud or iTunes). If you did not keep a backup somewhere, they are gone. Sorry, but that is the way of any data - if you don't have a backup of it somewhere, there is nothing to restore it from.
All other photo's should be on your computer somewhere anyway - whereever you had them to sync to the device originally. -
ICloud Sync issues between iPhone and MacBook
I have a peculiar problem. I have iCloud turned on for Contacts, Calendar and Notes between my iPhone 6P and my MacBookPro running OS X 10.10.2. If I make a change or add an entry on the MBP, it does not show up on the iPhone until I make a change to something on the iPhone, then the iPhone changes go to the MBP, and the MBP changes then, and only then, appear on the iPhone.
I have the same iCloud account on both devices. Very confused. (I have not done anything regarding Family Sharing, and I do have the iCloud drive turned on.)

Help! iCloud has screwed up my iMac. iPhoto won't work and storage used up
Ever since I signed up for iCloud my computer has been a mess. My iPhoto will not load. Message reads photo library is either in use or has become unreadable. Also won't allow me to down load updates. Message go that is that I need 2.88 GB to download and suggests removing files from the start up disk. I am a grandmother with Parkinsons' so my computer is mostly for pictures, imovies, and iTunes.
My photo count jumped to a huge amount after iCloud and right before it quit. Suspect that is what is taking up room but not an expert by any means. Followed advice on here and deleted iCloud from phone. Would be forever grateful for help!Hey navzzzzz!

I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
=COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
or
=SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))

Had asked for help with iCloud 3 weeks ago. Cloud has my old email and I no longer know the password, wont't let me sign in with new email. When I talked with apple cust service they assured me that everything associated with apple would change over. NO it did not! Cannot find how to get cloud to change this. My Iphone says I have not backed up in 9 weeks because of iCloud. Can anyone help me or give me some advise please

Sandie PSame thing happened to me. My son's iPod touch suddenly started indicating that my "username or PW had changed" or was "incorrect" so I paid Apple $30 to find out that all that was required was updating the software by plugging his iPod into my computer & syncing with iTunes. My problem was then solved.

If you don't know your ID, you can try to find it as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625. Then you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617. Of course, you can only do this if it's your ID.
