Help in presenting web page

Hello ,
I got the following code:
String request = "http://search.yahooapis.com/WebSearchService/V1/webSearch?appid=YahooDemo&query=love&results=2";
URL url = new URL(request);
HttpURLConnection conn=(HttpURLConnection)url.openConnection();
gPanel.setPage(url);
The problem is I see the results in xml format and i would like to see it as a web page.How to configure that?

If you want to get html back, then just use yahoo's webpage:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=love
A web service, like Michael said, returns xml containing the data you requested. It's up to you to do something with that xml to display it. There may be an xslt transformation you can use, or just write your own.

Hello everybody,
I'm a bit new to Dreamweaver and I'm trying to create my very own website.
However, when creating my site, I've used absolute positions for all of my apDiv-s and rollover images, so now when you open my web page, the whole site would be located at the left side of the browser.
My problem: How do I center the positions of all the elements of the site?

Help deleting saved web pages

Hello:
        I am new to dreamweaver cs5 and I am working from a book Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a Book.
       Being new to Dreamweaver and just having fun I have created and saved 4 basic web pages that are appearing in the dreamweaver Welcome screen in the Open a Recent Item drop down list. Being new to this trial and error I would like to delete them and start fresh. Searching for hours on line and in dreamweaver's help section I can't find what I am looking for. The book comes with a dvd with instructional lessons I have saved on to c drive where I do my work and save back on to c drive. Please, is there a way to delete these web pages. Thank you Jon.

Please, please help find "orphaned" web pages

I have spent the last 4 hours trying to delete "orphaned" web pages. Several years ago I created some web pages using Front Page and then uploaded them to ftpmysite.verizon.net using an FTPClient. Then I dumped Verizon's web suite altogether because it wasn't user friendly. I've kept Verizon long term as my ISP only.
Coming back full circle to Verizon because I need to use the 10 MB of space offered with my monthly DSL. It is in use with the old pages.
The pages DO NOT show up in site builder.
SMARTFTP says user does not exist on the ftpmysite.verizon.net. login and the client times out
SMARTFTP says user does not exist on the ftpmysite.ncnetwork.net login and the client times out
SMARTFTP says user does not exist on the ftpmysite.verizon.net/resxxxxx login and the client times out
SMARTFTP says user does not exist on the ftpmysite.ncnetwork.net resxxx login and the client times out
The same for WinFTP. Same for FTP via My Network places in Windows XP.
MSIE returns Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage error with the above urls.
The old site content shows up under the web page usage screen on the DSL Internet page, but it doesn't allow a page delete from that location.
I'm fairly computer savy but I'm ready to rip Verizon a new one because this is insane! Any advice on getting them off the remote server?

I tested the DNS and reset the servers anew. It didn't help.
I then went to my neighbors and used his different ISP with dial-up. Got a 550 Permissions Denied error.
It has to be an issue on Verizon's end.
They have escalated the problem.

IWeb Help! Changing web page name from Blank + activating Inspector?

I am back once more as I am having difficulties. My first problem is that I am unable to change the name of a blank web page to anything else apart from 'Blank'. I have typed in a new name, it turns red, but as soon as I press enter it returns back to 'Blank'. I am having real difficulties here as I am presenting my site very soon at University. I have not had problems up to now. To repeat, I am unable to change the name of my web page that I recently opened to anything but 'Blank'... any suggestions?
Secondly, to activate Inspector... one does what exactly? I have clicked on inspector but I cannot actually seem to activate it (in terms of been able to do anything once it has opened?) I know these are daft little problems but very annoying. I was looking for the web count in there but had no joy, I just want to be able to activate inspector... any suggestions?

Most of the Inspector's functions require an element (such as a text box or image) to have been first selected by clicking once upon it. With an element selected in iWeb's main window, the related controls in the Inspector will no longer be grayed out.
Page names can be changed by clicking once on the name in the sidebar (on the left side of the iWeb window) and then in the Inspector, click on the Page tab (the second one). Type in your new page name and hit Return.

Need help! Converting web page to PDF

I recently installed an Acrobat and Adobe Reader update and I can no longer convert a web page to a pdf - something I was able to do before the update. Is there a setting that I can adjust to be able to do this again? Also, I can no longer convert a selection out of an email design program into a pdf either? HELP!!

Help asap - creating Web page with templates

Hi,
I need help asap, im using BPC Web (my system BPC 75 SP04, MS version and there is not a lot of info on the web).
How can I create a web page using one of my Excel templates (the ones created for the application, to upload data)...
I've tried searching the templates inside Web ready Files but doesnt work for me... the only files available that appear are Temp.txt
I read about reports... but these are supposed to be created via "build a dynamic report" and i already created all my templates in a certain way. Also, Web ready Book only works with REPORTS right?

Help with editing web pages in Contribute

Once I am connected to the website I want to edit and I click
on "edit page" in Contribute, the screen turns gray and I cannot
edit anything. It saves as a "draft" and I could publish it but it
won't allow me to see the web page I am editing. Help!

Help with viewing web pages

Hi, hoping someone can help. Just got the blackberry pearl 8100. I can view web pages and see pictures but I cannot view web page videos or hear music. Shouldn't I be able to view videos and stream music? Do I need to enable different browser settings?

Firefox encounters aproblem & needs to close. Please help. When web page is opened this message is always popping up and I have to close it,

When I open the web page for seek.com I am able to read the first page for jobs but when I change to the next page the firefox message pops up and I have close it. I am unable to get past the first page.

Checking on things that can cause QuickTime launch errors and install/uninstall errors now.
Have you at any stage installed an ACE or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, any copies of the programs QT Alternative, QT Lite or Storm Codec, or any media converter programs that can convert files into QuickTime readable formats?
(I'm checking on these things because depending on the versions of the programs/codec-packs, these can install earlier versions of QuickTime componentry on a PC, which can interfere with the running/installing of a higher version of QuickTime.)

If i open each page directly to view they are all fine just
when i go from my links..

Help with I Web- Pages not showing links

Hi,
I was wondering if someone can help me out. I tried to publish a default page, just the welcome page and podcast page (all default). It published ok to the server but when I visited the site it doesnt show any link to the podcast page.
When I tried to only publish the podcast page (Ive deleted the welcome screen), the podcast page doesnt even show the default video and sound i.e. no entries, however I can see it in Iweb and I can also subscribe to it from the Itune using RSS feed.

Ok so it seems that I have programed the music to work propery on my webpage. The only problem is that it does not always play. I mean sometimes it does play and then theres the issue of songs overlaping
certain times when I open the page and other times not. sometimes the the music seems to play more often on certain computers than others. Although still it plays sort of at random moments and some times not at all.

Web Page Compatability...Photos don't fully load

Greetings from The Great Smoky Mts.
We're grasping at straws now....not sure if this is the spot to solve our problem but any help will be appreciated.
OK, after 5 years on WebTV, we decided to go to a computer....
We chose iMac G5 so it wouldn't be outdated by the time we learned to use it.....
We had no hardrive with WebTV and therefore used a site which was created to help Webbies create web pages....they back up all the files every week....
In our file manager there, we store all the photos that link to the website we created.
Since getting our Mac, we have been unable to view fully loaded images which have more than 29kb's.....
The administrator at wtv-zone.com was patient but in the end suggested we had an ISP problem....we posted in the iMac Discussion and several people went to view our site and said the pages of photos loaded fully.
OK, we figured it wasn't an Apple problem.
So, we changed from NetZero to ArcZip as an ISP.....no difference.
We downloaded Foxfire...no success....
At this point, we are totally baffled/Help is needed....Please
We thought about downloading IE to see if that would help but before we make that decision, we need some input from someone who understands our problem....Could it be something with our computer in particular?
Could it be the way The Zone is presenting it's pages to the ISP?

We also have problems with all the other sites hosted at wtv-zone but no problems anywhere else.....With our dial-up connection, sometimes images with high kb's take a little while to load but only at The Zone do they fail to load fully.
Anyone know anything about what our problem is and more importantly....a solution?
Should we download IE?....We still have our WebTV and it's on the same phone line as our Mac and it still fully loads the photos....
Oh, here's another interesting tidbit...when we go to our file manager and view a photo, it comes up immediately (like it's already loaded).... we can refresh the page and more of it will show but if it's 30kb's or above it never fully loads....
This is getting frustrating....

We finally found the right? combination to work around our problem.....By using Firefox as a browser, we went to the photos that were over 29kb's and even though they refused to fully load...when we reloaded the page, they finished loading....still not perfect but at least we were able to drag them to our desktop and insert them in an album....We then switched back to Safari using the same ISP and couldn't get them to load...So, it appears to be a problem with our Safari....Obviously, this is the wrong Discussion to get help with that.
