Help, in some sort of limbo 0 trying to send message

Mail has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions while online.
Additional information: Operation could not be completed. (MFMessageErrorDomain error 1028.)
The msg above is what I'm getting - when I open it, it keeps trying to send a message that I've since deleted. It isn't updating new messages (I'm getting them online in Firefox).
How do I kick it into regular gear!?

It is Symbian 9.2! and it will not definitely allow you to do anything with its core applications. Even with only some easier things like viewing system folders in phone, is strickly prohibit. All applications that you want to install must have been signed!! So, don't ask anything like that with Symbian 9.x. On the other hand, it makes our phone more secure as never be possible before. No virus can attacks Symbian 9.x, yet. For me, I love it eventhough, feel less controllable.Message Edited by delixis on 06-Nov-200707:48 AM

  • E-mail server could not be reached when system was trying to send message

    Hi All,
I have done the settings for mail transport. The same worked fine on development and QA. However, on production, the same settings do not seem to be working I receive message 'The e-mail server could not be reached when the system was trying to send the message', when mail is being sent out.
    The settings is as follows:
    1. Activate Mailing Service by going to
System Administration à System Configuration à Knowledge Management à Content Management à Mailing Service.
Ensure Active check box is selected.
    2. Create System Alias by going to
System Administration à System Configuration à System Landscape
    Go to content area.
Portal Content à Content Provided By SAP à Collaboration and right click.
Select New from PAR à System.
Choose the iview com.sap.netweaver.coll.app.gw  and hit next button. Select Java_Mail option and hit next button.  Enter appropriate System Name and ID and hit next button.  Hit finsh button and open object for editing.
Select System Aliases from display option and add an alias for the system. Save changes.
    3. Create Mail Transport by going to
System Administration à System Configuration à Knowledge Management à Collaboration.
Click Groupware Transports in content area.
Select Mail Transport on next screen.
Click New button and create new mail transport definition.
Give SMTP server being used in organisation, Inbox for ‘Sent messages folder’, and give
system alias created in step 2 as alias.
    4. Mail channel server too has been set up.
    Thanks and regards,

Please tell me am in the correct part of configuration of mail or is that any other place to set configurations?
As our friend (Arun) mentioned in his first thread to activate Mailing Service, i couldnt see this setting in my WAS7.0.
+1. Activate Mailing Service by going to
System Administration à System Configuration à Knowledge Management à Content Management à Mailing Service.

  • I have been trying to send messages from my Non Apple friends/family from my I Pad.  How do I get this to work??

I have been trying to send my Non Apple friends/family messages from my I Pad.  How do I get this to work??

It won't. iMessage isn't an SMS service. It's for Apple-to-Apple and uses cellular data. SMS uses a cellular SMS plan, which does not come with your iPad. You'd have to have a cell phone to send texts like that. Alternatively, you can find an instant messaging app like Skype (they do messaging, not just video chat) or MSN Messenger that goes across platforms. You install it, they install it, you can chat with them.

  • IPhone trying to send message as iMessage to non-iOS recipient

When I create a new message, I select the contact (who has a non-iOS device, in this case a Samsung Galaxy), the contacts name is green, which is fine.
When I select the green contact's mobile number, the banner at the top goes from "New Message" to "New iMessage", the name stays green, but after typing a message the "Send" button remains greyed out so I cannot send it.
I don't know why the iPhone is trying to send this as an iMessage when it clearly knows full well that the recipient is non-iOS (as the contact name is green).
I have an iPhone 4s on iOS 7.1

    Hey there Barkster,
It sounds like you are unable to send messages to a non iOS device when creating a new message. I would use the following troubleshooting from the following article:
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2755
To resolve issues sending and receiving SMS, follow these steps
Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
Make sure that you have a cellular network signal in the status bar of your iPhone. If there's no signal, learn more about troubleshooting no service.
    Restart your iPhone.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
Remove your SIM card and insert it again.
If you still can't send or receive SMS, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact who's trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that you're using the area code with the contact's phone number. When sending messages internationally, you also need to use the contact's international code.
If you're using a "Pay as you go" SMS plan, make sure it has enough available balance. Contact your carrier if you're unsure of your SMS plan or the available balance.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the contact.
Back up and restore your iPhone as new.
If your carrier has recently ported your phone number, the porting process might not be complete. Contact your carrier to confirm that the porting process is complete.
Contact your carrier to confirm that you're provisioned for sending SMS and are in an area with cellular coverage.
Contact your carrier to verify there are no blocks or filters placed on your wireless account preventing you from sending SMS.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • HELP!!!! iMessages on iOS6 is sending messages from my iPhone to both my iPad, my other iPhone and other friends iPhones!  and receiving messages from friends on both iPhones and iPad.

Why is the new iOS6 using iMessage and FaceTime and sharing messages across all iPad, both iPhones, and friends messages coming in are sent to all units?  SHARING???  How do you fix this?

    HI,
On the iPhone and iPad you can "turn off" the Apple ID in Settings > Messages > Received At (and possibly) > Caller ID.
iOS 6 will delete the email/Apple ID across all devices (you get a warning) but presumably Messages is either left alone on the Mac or you add the ID back in again.
AS has been said you can then set up each device with it's own Apple ID

  • I need help getting some photos off a really old ipod

Ok so here it is.... My grandparents way back when gave me an ipod video, I just recently found it and realized it has photo's on it that I would like to keep. My problems are 1. I don't have the original computer I used for it 2. when I plug it in my computer thinks it's a hard drive 3. autoplay won't give me the option to import the photo's to my computer and 4. itunes doesn't seem to have an option to transfer photo's from ipods to your pictures folder.... if any one could help I'd appriciate it.

The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos.  So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option.  You can Google for more.

  • Trying to send txt message says they don't have iMessage setup.

I tried to send a text message to a non apple device on my iPad. Will not let has name highlighted in pink with red ! Saying they don't have iMessage setup which they can't what do I do to send the a message?

Imessage falls back to SMS when it tries to send messages to non apple devices. That's because iMessage is an iOS only feature. Since your ipad doesn't have a phone number, it won't send it out to a non iOS device.
You would have to download a third party app that allows you to send text messages over data (I do believe some messangers let you do that as well as skype?)

  • Is anyone else having the same authorization error when trying to view downloaded tv shows, etc. on apple tv?  I had the same problem a few weeks ago and was ultimately advised it was due to some sort of server error.

A few weeks ago I had the same issue where items (tv shows) I purchased on itunes would not show using my apple tv on my main television.  It gives me an error stating I need to "authorize" the device/account etc.  There is no problem with the authorization it is correct; tv show plays on the computer.  The last time this happened the local apple store suggested I bring in my entire imac, hard drive, apple tv, etc.  This seemed crazy since I had been able to eliminate that there was a problem with my password, imac, etc.  I had also already tried all of the restore, reset, options to include restoring the apple tv, changing password and authorizing everything again.  Then I found out via an online discussion there were others having the same problem and it was due to some sort of server issue apple was having.  Is anyone else having this problem besides me again?

I think I have the same problem.
Apple TV 2. I can watch stuff I downloaded a while ago, but after I downloaded a season of a TV show on Friday night (Oct 28), I got the "Authorization Required" message. Ruined my Friday night trying to troubleshoot this, and found a bunch of posts on this forum about Apple's Servers being down can cause this. Since I'd done nothing different to my setup, I assumed that indeed "Apple's servers being down" was causing my grief.
It's now Oct 31st, and I'm still getting the error on the newly-downloaded stuff. So either Apple's servers are having serious grief (and passing it on to me!) or else there might be something else after all.
I've de-authorized and re-authorized my computer (I never thought for a second it would help because I can play "older stuff". Everything in my TV shows folder is bought from iTunes - i.e., it's all completely legit. We haven't even vacuumed behind the TV(!!) so we haven't disturbed anything... And the key info is that I can play stuff purchased prior to Oct 28th, but the stuff I purchased on Oct 28th hets the "Authorization required" message.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folders. In OS X 10.9 there are two sandboxes, while in earlier versions there is only one.
    Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combinationcommand-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
