Help Infinity blade Download error 8008

Okay I've tryed to download Infinity blade 2 for my Itunes and Iphone but I keep getting error 8008 and I have tryed to go to the download folder and delete the temp fiels didnt help the least. I've also tryed to download it on my Iphone 4S and it dosnt want to do that either.
Please help

I stumbled upon another solution to the 8008 problem. Currently all my movies and music reside on an external HD. My laptop HD was near capacity less than 500 MB. When I was downloading a movie recently I noticed my laptop HD capacity fluctuating. I continued to receive the 8008 download error. Upon clearing some files on my laptop HD to < 1GB, deleted the tmp download folder for the movie (on my external HD) the download went through no problem. It appears that iTunes may be using a temporary cache on the main HD even if all your files on on an external.

    Any one else having problems?

Still not working for me and after 1 live chat and 30 min call with support they have told me they will "refund my account in 2-3 working days and try again to download it again in a few weeks"!!! A few weeks!!!!
They put me through to Tech Support who said it may be a fault with my mac and was transferred 3 times! Told them I'm away to buy the DVD as it will be faster to get than their help!

    Hello,
Adobe has brought these new links in this matter:
Troubleshoot Creative Cloud download and install issues and
App doesn’t open; progress wheel spins continually
Please have a look there. If necessary and for further questions click through http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and if "open" please use chat, I had the best experiences. I quote from Preran: The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.

  • Apple TV Download Error 8008

    Hi,
I just rented Transformers HD through Apple TV and it started downloading, but then it stopped and gave "Download Error 8008".
No matter how many times I click Check for Purchases it won't resume downloading.
And I know the problem has nothing to do with firewalls or internet connection because I can watch YouTube and browse the store.
Normally with iTunes you just delete the relative temporary download file and then check for purchases. But this is not possible on Apple TV.
Does anyone have any solution to this? or is it $4.99 gone.
    Thanks,
    H.A.

Hashman -- Sorry about your issue. I too have had the same error on downloading an HD movie via the AppleTV. I started the download then went to bed, woke up the next AM to find the download failed. Unfortunately no amount of "Checking for Downloads" in the Settings menu fixed it, in fact it's still there, not fully downloaded.
If you use your Mac to download and it fails, there is actually a process by which you can delete the partial file and restart the download, I have found this does work but ONLY on your Mac proper, not the AppleTV. I did follow the "Report a Problem" process and have yet to receive a credit, perhaps it's pending I simply don't know. Hopefully this will get fixed soon, otherwise I sympathize and wish you luck! Sorry.

  • Movie download error (8008)

I've seen a number of threads on this error dating back to 2008 but nobody seems to have found a solution to this problem on the Apple TV (v1 - not the new small black one). It seems if you get the error using iTunes you are advised to remove the partially downloaded file from the downloads folder and that usually clears up the problem. However using Apple TV you do not have access to the file system and cannot delete files.
So, I've powered off the Apple TV, powered it back on, tried clicking on Downloads many times and it repeats the same download error (8008) while the movie (The kids are alright) is stuck at 76% downloaded. All other features of the Apple TV appear to be working normally.
Can anyone suggest a way to resolve this probm on the Apple TV?
    Many thanks,
    Adam

Same problem here. where is Steve Jobs we we need him to kick some ***** in his company? no one from apple can give an answer!!! incredible

  • ITunes Download error 8008

I keep getting this error (8008) when attempting to download a few TV episodes including Titanic Survival (Mythbusters Season 13), Chained Heat (Revolution Season 1), and Captain (Last Resort Season 1).  I have already tried the suggestions from Apple's KB including deleting the Downloads folder and the error persists, I am hoping someone here can advise me further.

Note: at this juncture the three episodes specifically mentioned in my previous post are the only ones affected, all other material downloads OK.

  • Can someone help with a Download Error?

I'm using a MacBook - I have tried a few times to download several updates for things such a firefox, or even to upgrade something from Apple itself.
The download will start and go all the way through, then, at the end it says: Download Error ___blank____  cannot be opened, because of an unknown error  occured- Try saving to disk first then opening the file.
What I'm trying to download currently is some type of upgrade because I am running Mac OS X version 10.5.8 and I'd like to have something newer if at all possible (maybe it's just not possible?)
Any info would be helpful - also, if you can dumb it down a bit for me? Thank you.

10.5.8 is as high as you can go for a download at this point. If you want a more recent OS you will need to purchase a disk with Snow Leopard (10.6) on it. Once that is installed you can go to Lion (10.7) or Mountain Lion (10.8) if your MacBook supports it, by a (paid) download.
    Best of luck.

  • Video Downloading Error- 8008....help please!

Hi all. I would be so greatful for someones help. Since I bought my Ipod Video I frequesntly purchase videos from Itunes. Recently, I purchased 8 diffent videos-- ranging from television shows to movies, etc... The problem is that I cannot download anything from the Itunes store. Eachtime Itunes goes to download the items that I have purchased I receive an error message 8008 for each of the items as follows:
"There was a problem downloading “______”.
Parts of the file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose “Check for Purchases” from the Store menu."
The thing is that this happens with any videos that I purchase now, so I doubt that they are all currupted. Could this bean issue with my settings or something? MaybeI am a bit clueless, but it is quite frustrating that I have spent alot of $ on things that I can't actually watch The problem doesn't happen with regularmusic downloads.
Any help is VERY GREATLY appreciated.

I had this problem over and over (as well as error 8003). I Finally worked out that my ISP was using a transparent proxy which was causing all the problems with downloading from the itunes site and downloads restarting from 0. I set up a specific http proxy utilising another port (not port 80) which bypassed the isp proxy and have had blissfuol downloads ever since. To find out if your ISP is using a transparent proxy visit www.proxyjudge.net

  • HT201272 hi all, I am having trouble downloading 2 music videos. I keep getting the download error 8008. Can anyone enlighten me on how to work around the problem.

Hi guys, I'm havinh trouble downloading 2 music videos. The download starts then stops before it gets going and gives me an error code, 8008. Can anyone help please.

Try the troubleshooting for that error number on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297
    "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023"
These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while accessing iTunes Store:
See iTunes 9: "One Moment Please" or "Error (-50)" message when accessing iTunes Store
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
    Mac OS X:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads   Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
    Windows Vista:
  \Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows 7:
  \Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows XP:
  \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
    Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading Digital Copies using Windows:
Use MSCONFIG (directions for Windows XP and Windows Vista/Windows 7) to disable conflicting software.
If using MSCONFIG steps resolves the issue, you may want to use the System Configuration Utility to turn on the third-party System Services and Startup Items one at a time (restarting your computer after turning on the item or items) to identify which System Service or Startup Item is causing the conflict.
You can turn all of them back on by selecting the Normal Startup option under the General tab of the System Configuration Utility window, but please note that this may cause the issue to reoccur.
If you are able to isolate the issue to a particular third-party software, you may wish to contact them to let them know of the conflict.

  • Please help with iTunes download error -50

I have been never been able to download from iTunes and always get the unable to dowload error -50 message. I have seen people have this same question before on here and were able to fix it by adjusting their firewall settings, etc. I am not sure how to do that. I have Norton Internet Security and thought that may be conflicting with it as well. My computer is Windows XP SP2. Can anyone help me fix this? Any specific instructions would be helpful and much appreciated! Thanks!

Perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:
