Help installing airbrush plug-in

I'm trying to install Kodak's airbrush plug-in on CS2. I've gone through all the download and installation steps and drag the plug-in to the filters folder. When I open Photoshop it doesn't show up in the toolbar. Support at Kodak has not helped. Any suggestions?

It always is —until you install it, input your serial/registration number and register it.

You should update it to 9.0.2 ASAP!

I didn't say it's a free trial version.
I've attached screenshots of each of the things you requested.
I'm not getting any error messages at any point. It just doesn't appear. I've trashed all previous downloads, several times, and started from square 1. I have Photoshop closed throughout the process. I've tried putting it in the filters file as well as the plug-in file.
I don't see the screen shots.
Vicki, the only other reason I can think of why it's not working for you is that you may have not observed and meticulously respected the default installation location for CS2.
Do not take the Photoshop application out of its folder, do not take the Photoshop folder out of your Applications folder, do not create subfolders in a misguided attempt to "organize" things.  This will be even more important when you install CS4.  Be sure to observe and meticulously respect the default installation location for CS4.  Do not move things around, do not create subfolders to hide things in.

I'm trying to install the plug in to modify the default help desk ticket views: https://community.spiceworks.com/appcenter/app/plugin_1454I'm running version 7.4.00070 of Spiceworks. The plug in says it works with versions 7.1+I've installed, cloned, edited and saved the plugin per the instructions. I didn't see the expectedchanges to the list view or menu. I cleared out my cache and tried again, no changes. I then restarted the Spiceworks service and still no changes. I uninstalled and reinstalled, cloned, edited and saved again, still no luck. I tried it on IE11 and Chrome, same thing. I'm tagging the creator of this plug in in hopes of getting some help. Thanks in advance!

  • How to install optional plug-ins

I just read in the March issue of Photoshop User magazine about optional plug-ins you can download from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4048. It includes the Contact Sheet II plug-in among others. The article described how to install this plug-in but there are other things included in the Goodies folder that I'd like to install but not sure how. For example, there are textures but I don't see a textures folder where PS CS4 is installed. The readme file doesn't tell you how to install the features. Any help would be appreciated.

most things like textures, actions, brushes etc. can be loaded via the flyout menu in their respective palettes. the little triangle in the upper right corner? click that, you'll see "load textures" or "load brushes" etc.

  • Can't use Adobe Extension Manager to Install Photoshop plug-in

I am trying to install a plug-in from PSKiss to Photoshop CS5 (version 12.0.4). I'm using Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5, and I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop.
Although I'm following up with PSKiss to see if there's a problem at this end, I also see an issue with Adobe Extension Manager. When I open it, the Install button is grayed-out. I can see neither of the plug-ins I've already installed in Photoshop, nor can I install anything new. I am running Adobe Extension Manager as Administrator—and I've tried every way I can think of to do that.
Also, yes, I'm using my laptop with an Administrator account.
What's going on? What am I missing? Please help if you can. Thanks!

  • How do I install this plug-in

Sometimes when I go to a site it wont let me open a windows media file and I get the following statement below. Is this something I can plug-in to Safari? Or is this file just for Windows. I have the app windows media 9 in my apps folder. Is there a plug-in for Safari also?
"Safari cannot find the internet plug-in
The page has content of MIME type “video/x-ms-asf-plugin”, but you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type. A plug-in should be available on this page:
    http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/Downloads/Contents/Products/MediaPlayer/"

The link you sent works for me. Under the Help > Installed Plug-In's you should see "video/x-ms-asf-plugin     Windows Media     " if Windows Media Player for the Mac installed correctly.
Did you try quitting Safari and then installing WMP? Does it work then? It's definitely using WMP, though, so I'm guessing it's a bad installation or something.

  • Flash Builder unable to install Eclipse plug-in

With the latest pre-release version of Flash Builder (12/07/09),  I'm unable to install Eclipse plug-ins.  I go to the Help | Install New Software... menu option.  But it gives you no ability to add a new software site.  I also tried Window | Preference, expanded the Install/Update item and then selected Available Software Sites.  This also gives you no ability to add a new site.  What am I missing?

    Wrong forum. You want prerelease.adobe.com.

  • Can't install jre plug-in

My problem is that the jre isn't running, and when I try to download and install the plug-in, first it thinks it is already installed ( it was ) and tries to uninstall it.
    I get the error message
    ERROR # 0x80040702
    Description: Failed to load dll:ActPanel
    Setup will not terminate
It will not install the plug-in over the old one, and the old one is missing a dll ....Help! Where can I get this dll, and install it, or force the plug-in to install over the top of the messed up one!

This is an InstallShield error. I Googled with the error code and found a number of hits, this looks promising:

I'd also suggest that you visit the InstallShield knowledge base.
