Help installing bridge

I paid and installed cc and lightroom but i can't install bridge because it says i need admin privileges and i dont understand why if i am the only user on my windows laptop.

Mar2393781 administrative privileges are required to install Photoshop Lightroom. Please contact your computer manufacturer or I.T. department if you do not have an administrative account.

Need help installing Bridge CS4 gallery in DW CS4

I've spent days trying to find out how to put a gallery I created in Bridge CS4 into Dreamweaver CS4. Bridge created a folder filled with a lot of files, including image files and an index.html file. How do I insert these into my DW page? I'm fairly new to Dreamweaver and need the specific steps laid out for me. Thanks.

Copy the entire folder to your web root in the Dreamweaver CS4 and create a HTML page from your template, name it "gallery" then open the Dreamweaver CS4 if not already opened, click to open the files of your website at the right hand Corner of the Dreamweaver CS4 page or windows > files to open it; search for the folder of the gallery open it and copy the .swf player file to the space you have created on the gallery page save the page then press F12 on your keyboard or file > preview in browser and choose your browser to view your gallery. You could resize it after all that. It worked for me on my new web design. Good luck.

Is it possible to install Bridge CS6 now I am on CC2014?

Along with many people I miss the very useful thumbnail output feature from Bridge CS6 that allowed me to make a pdf showing thumbnails of all images EVEN INSIDE SUBFOLDERS from a given folder.
The function seems to be broken in CC2014.
This was one of the key tools and uses I had for Bridge, would love to get it back!
Apparently CS6 is the last version of Bridge to allow this, and I have a new machine with new CC2014 installed on it, how on earth can I add this older version of Bridge to my setup? It doesnt show up in the 'previous versions' filter in theCC installer...

Matthew A you can install Bridge CS6 as part of Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, or InDesign CS6. It was not available as a separate installation until Bridge CC. Please be aware that your file associations will likely become associated to whatever CS6 application you installed. If you wish to use CC 2014 you will want to adjust your file associations.

Copying Metadata and Keyword Info when installing Bridge on new computer

Hi, I've just purchased a new computer and have installed Bridge CC on it, but I couldn't figure out what files from my old computer I need to copy/move over so that I can access the metadata and keywords that I had customized in Bridge on my older computer. Both are Bridge CC so there should be versioning issues.
Can someone give me a step by step on what files to copy and replace?

Be patient, it can take a while. After running sfc, even if it reports it didn't find any files to repair, it really did, so restart your computer.

Installing bridge CS4 without Dreamweaver

I have a legal copy of Dreamweaver CS4 and this ships with Bridge CS4. A year ago I upgraded to Dreamweaver CS5.5, but as it is a charity volume license it doesn't come with Bridge CS5.5 and so I want to install bridge CS4. My CS4 installation will not let me untick the Dreamweaver installation, and I don't want that.
Is there a way around this?

To put it in perspective for you, consider that Bridge started out as nothing more and nothing less than Photoshop's File Browser.
It was renamed by marketing fiat to help promote the totally artificial suite concept.
Inconsistency between or among applications in the artificial "suites" should come as no surprise.
The "suite" concept is an invetion of Adobe marketing and bean-counting types. The engineering teams are totally independent of each other, they are not only in different buildings but in different cities and states of the American Union, even in different countries. The fact that they have little if any communication among them is highlighted by requests occasionally made in these forums by top Adobe engineers to let the other teams know when there are problems in one application that impact our workflow in another one.

Dear Adobe Community,
I got my first imac a few days ago, and i decided to install Adobe CC.
When i want to run Adobe Bridge, says "the operation could not be completed", the same happens with Adobe After Effects.
And I also have a problem with Premiere, when i want to export a project says that premiere must close.
This is the try version, is this a problem of Adobe or Apple? i'm very worried

Bueno los pasos son:
2. Select Go from the Finder Menu.
3. Select Computer.
4. Select Macintosh HD.
5. Select Users.
6. Select your user profile.
7. Right click on user profile. Select Get Info.
8. Go to bottom and unlock with admin password to make changes.
9. Make sure your user profile has Read and Write privileges by selecting from dropdown menu.
10. Go down to wheel at very bottom and select Apply to enclosed items. This should allow Adobe Bridge to run properly.

No desktop icons or bottom toolbar after installing bridge

After installing bridge I lost all my desktop icons and bottom toolbar. Now just have screen saver picture nothing else.

HELP INSTALLING HP 3110 PRINTER WITH 2.0 COMPOSITE USB TO WINDOWS 8 NOTEBOOK WITH USB 3.0

Need help installing HP PhotoSmart 3110 All in One Printer with USB 2.0 composite. Errors with message can't work properly with USB 3.0 which is on my new Windows 8 notebook. Read forum support doc for installing device on Windows 8 and ran Printer Install Wizard. Goes thru extracting and errors "the system can't find the file specified".

Your V5-122p-0408 comes with only 1 USB 3 port, did you try both?
If the printer worked fine on another computer then the problem most likely in on the V5.
Are you running 8 or 8.1?

Your computer comes with Win 8 pre-installed but one of the steps to install/run Windows 8.1 is having updated drivers for Windows 8.1
Please, go to Control Panel -> System (or Start -> type winver and open) and verify what is your current version - if it is Windows 8 or 8.1
Windows 8 is version 6.2.x
Windows 8.1 is version 6.3.x
If Windows 8 in place, then , please read this article and enroll in the steps:

I have installed bridge 6. I have the icons and it shows in the directory, but will not open

I have installed bridge cs6 and it will not open. I have the icons and it shows in the directory. I open CS6 CC ok but when I open bridge from CS6, it opens the older virsion CS5.

You have Bridge CS5 running in background. Open CS5 and in adv. pref. uncheck "start bridge at login". Either reboot or close background program.

Assuming the install has failed as it has for several others...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Help installing PSE10/Premier onto Mac from PC without software CD. I can't find my software box anywhere..... Is there a way to locate my serial number within the programs? AND how can I download the programs from your site- all I see are downloads for the new PSE 11.

You really need the DVD box which also has the serial numbers on the back. If you registered the product you can get the serial numbers by logging-in to My Adobe but that's not much help as only the current version 11 is available for download.
