Help installing Cs2 On New Computer, please.

I have what is, for me, a serious issue.
I am a long time user and my needs are very basic. I upgraded to CS2 years ago and found this level of product more than sufficient to my needs.
I now want to install it on a newer computer. Cs2 is an upgrade and I need to go back to my original full purchase - which is Photoshop 5.0, Illustrator 7.0 and Pagemaker. I have tried installing Photoshop 5.0 in order to have it on the computer for Cs2 to recognize it and allow the upgrade. It does not respond. I tried installing Illustrator 7.0 and got an error message (computer) stating it could not install the software because of the 64 bit architecture.
All I want to do is be able to happily use my Cs2 which is more than sufficient for me. It appears I will be unable to install it as Cs2 is an upgrade package.
I contacted Adobe support and surprisingly was told they no longer support Cs2 and I should buy a newer version. Of course I cannot upgrade from anything, so any purchase would be a full version purchase. While I get the software is older, it seems harsh to say "go buy a new one."
I suspect I am not the first person ever facing this problem and hope someone has faced a similar circumstance and can recommend a solution.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

It has worked fine for everything that I do, plus I know all the tricks to this particular version. It has only been installed on 2 computers before...both my own computers. I've heard alot problems about Neo4 Plat and World of Warcraft which is the only game iam playing, and the only reason iam buying a new system.

What i fear with K8N-Sli Plat is that its older than K8N-Sli-F, and maybe more faulty. I dont know, but if K8N-Sli-F is newer, MSI has maybe corrected some problems.. i dont know :/
What is the most popular card atm? I really want a card that i can get support on, and thats why i dont like Sli-K8N-F much, because its new, and new cards often got new problems too.

Forget about all the versions you already have (5.0 through to CS2). They will no longer work and the serial numbers are redundant.
Download the non-activation version of CS2 form the link provided by kglad and use the new non-activation serial number provided at that link. Your existing serial number(s) will no longer work.
Note: there is no guarantee that CS2 will run well on Win 8.1. Try it and see.

I'm using an iMac with the newest OS X Yosemite. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, removed all the programs. But I still get the 'old' 2014 version with the Lionhead, not the Sunglasses (october 2014) with interactive libraries. I would like to inform that you can install and activate Creative Cloud desktop applications on two computers, regardless of operating system, for the individual associated with the Creative Cloud membership.
If you've already installed Creative Cloud on 2 machines then you need to deactive it from one of the machine.
To deactivate, you can click on the product and then go to Help> Deactivate.
To uninstall the apps follow the link mentioned below:

Installing upgrade on new computer if prior edition is not installed

I'm trying to install Lightroom 4 upgrade on my new desktop, which does not have Lightroom 3 installed. My copy of LR 3 is 800 miles away and I will not see the box until next May.
Please advise.

You only need the serial numbers. During instal lyou will be asked for a qualifying product and then must input the serial number for LR3 as a secondary number. Mylenium

First go to Editor>Help>Deactivate. That's really the only thing you have to do if you've used both of your two installations already. If you want to uninstall PSE, then do it via Control Panel in Windows, or on a Mac use the uninstaller in the PSE folder in Applications.
If you have a version of PSE prior to PSE 8, no need to deactivate unless you bought a serial number for the trial via the Buy It Now button in PSE. Otherwise there's no activation on earlier versions.

You're blaming others for your messy bookkeeping? That's gross! Contact edu support by mail or web chat and have your credentials handy, but otherwise there is nothing anyone can do.

It sounds like you are getting an error stating that the iTunes installer cannot be run on your computer. I would try downloading the 64 bit version of iTunes from here:
iTunes 11.1.3 for Windows (64-bit)

If issues persist when trying to install it, I would try running through the steps in the article named:

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you have used Home Sharing to play the music from one computer on another, but now you would like to only use the new computer. It sounds as though you have set up the content to share between computers, but have not actually I’m ported the media from the old computer to the new one. I would suggest following the troubleshooting steps located in the attached article to import you music from the old computer to the new one. After that process is complete, you can turn off Home Sharing if you would like and the content will be in the iTunes library on your new computer.

Probably far too old to register. Sounds like a bug, stopping the "never" selection from working. You may be stuck with it.
