Help installing flash detection express

I need some help installing the flash express detection
script.
Can anyone advise me on this?
1) This tutorial assumes that you have already added the
Flash 8 detection scripts to a web page (as explained in the
synopsis
of the implementation process) and have already downloaded the
Flash Player Detection Kit:
a) After you've exported HTML with Flash detection from Flash
8, move the JavaScript code found within the template's
<head> tag to the same location in your page along with the
JavaScript include, AC_OETags.js.
What exactly is it there asking me to do here?
Export what html with flash detection?
Are they talking about when I insert the swf movie file?
Not sure what there saying!
Can you advise?

I have several times tried to install adobe flash player (which I'l call ADF for short) and follow each step carefully, to the last step (apparently) stating that ADF is installed,but then I get an email from one source or another asking me to install ADF. I have gone through this routine a number if times, and have a bunch of "Install ADF" signs scatted all over my desktop (I have an iMac).
Most recently, I have received a message that, in order to install ADF, I need to uninstall all previous ADF's BEFORE I download and install an ADF, so I download the uninstall App, thinking I will get some instuction, with that download in uninstalling the ADF residuals on my desktop
Instead, what I get is a potful of UNINSTALL ADF units (which I don't know what to do with, littering my desktop.

So I have Windows Vista Basic Home, I tried updating my Flash version in firefox because it was out of date, but everytime it start downloading it , then I get the a message that says "Error " Appliation in use." I uninstalled it and followed all the suggestions on the websites nothing is working. I even uninstall google chrome thinking it was the problem but I'm still having that problem so I really don't know what to do because now the only place Flash player is installed seems to be Google chrome that I had to redoawload, but everywhere else tells me that I need to install it.

Chris… No I was using the desktop version, I cannot stand the M version, guess it would be nice if I had a touch screen..…when I finally got my computer to download the Acrobat Standard XI program, not sure how it worked, but I think it had something to do with Windows 8 not allowing itself to update all my apps and programs, even though my computer was set to automatically update any Windows/Microsoft updates…finally I got my Windows updates done, it downloaded like 36 files…and then I had to restart,(which also could have been playing a factor)…so finally got the program downloaded on Windows 8…but then I tried to run the new program and it says install serial #...so I assume that it was asking for the serial # for the Acrobat Standard XI…finally after googling the web, I found somebody that said try your older serial # from the previous program, and when I did this it finally works.. you would think with a brand new Windows computer I would have no problem installing Windows Updates…somebody needs to make a sticky about this, I am sure I am not the only one haiving this problem..

Need help installing Flash Player

After following the Adobe trouble shooting procedures, I'm still unable to install Flash Player. Can anyone help? OS is Vista Home Premium.

Thanks for your email. I'm using Internet Explorer 8 and didn't get any error messages; however I believe the installation was unsuccessful because I didn't see the movie used to confirm a successful installation.
I understand a pop-up blocker might be inhibiting the movie (TechNote tn_19091); however I still believe installation was unsuccessful because when browsing websites requiring Flash I'm prompted to install it. (Fixing the potential pop up blocker problem requires messing with the Registry - something I'd rather not do - and doing so wouldn't fix my installation problem.)
I followed all of the steps in Adobe "Troubleshoot Flash Player Installation for Windows" TechNote (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html#installwindowsvista) with no success.
I then contacted Adobe Tech Support with no luck and their Tech Rep referred me to this forum.
Some background: I uninstalled Flash last year because I believed it was the cause of frequent IE freeze ups, and then reinstalled it earlier this year with no problems until it suddenly stopped working several weeks or so ago. I can see the FlashUtil10 application version 10.0.45.2 in the Flash folder.
I Restored Windows to an earlier configuration - no luck - will try again as well as going thru the above trouble shooting procedures in the event I messed up.

Help Installing Flash Player on Intel-Based Mac

I am downloading the proper file, at the end of installation,
it takes me to an adobe site that says I don't have Flash
installed. I have uninstalled, and get the same message every time
I try to re-install. I have no idea what is going on...any
suggestions?

Still trying to get this thing installed...can't find support
anywhere. I am trying to run it in Safari. I know it works, I have

Need help installing Flash Player 9

I am trying to install Flash Player 9 on my Mac G5 OS10.3.9 I
had it installed previously but son clicked on some sort of
download while online and now it's not working. Yesterday it worked
fine.I downloaded the FlasPlayer install and ran it but it always
stops at "Items remaining to be installed -4" and just keeps
running. I even left it go overnight to see if it finished, which
it didn't. Please help me figure out why the remaining 4 items will
not install. I usually use Safari 1.3.2 as my browser but I also
have Internet Explorer 5.2.3 loaded on my computer.

I have exactly the same problem on my G4 laptop running
10.4.8. I hate Adobe. There isn't even a means of contacting them
to register the problem. Apparently nobody there wants to hear from
us.

Hello all i am currently using windows vista primium edition,
and i am trying to install the flash player 9 on the pc, i go
through all the steps and it shows as install it, but yet is not
working, i went to control pannel to see if it was there and it
wasent. So i really dont know what is happening or if i could
install these program to windows vista hopefully someone is out

before you can Install Flash Player 9 you have to uninstall all previous versions with the uninstall tool: How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control

Hi, Can anyone help??? I had downloaded Flashplayer 10 prob month or two ago. We went to watch a prog on I.player and told flashplayer not installed!!! Dont know where it went as we never uninstalled it????
For days I have been trying to install Flash player 11. But its not working. I have been through the online trouble shooting guide so many times. I am using Windows XP (32bit), I believe. Im not very computer literate
Most of the time, I get to the stage where Adobe black screen says to close 'Internet Explorer' and 'Retry'. This I do and then I am getting "General Installation Error".

Thanks for your help but sadly that did not help. Have repeatedly used your link to uninstall any possible hints of flashplayer.
I did notice that I had 'Google Chrome' installed and I noticed that I could watch some things via that, but I do not understand it at all.
As i thought that may be interfering with the Flash player download, I uninstalled that too.
But Sadly, I am still getting the same message when I try and install Flashplayer:
It installs to 50% and then gives the message "General Installation Error". It is so frustrating as nearly every website I go to asks me to download Adobe Flashplayer!
I know another kind person has suggested a rather technical approach to solving the problem but I am really soooo computer illiterate and am so worried about wrecking the system.
Do you have any other suggestions or should I pay to get someone to look at my PC? I just cannot understand how I had Adobe Flash player 10 installed, with Internet Explorer 8 AND now that has just disappeared. Prior to your sugg, I know that i did not uninstall it so not sure how it disappeared...... Have managed to download the other Adobe downloads without probs eg Shock Wave, Air etc

okay this is my problem: i was trying to download the flash
player from the official page (logged in as an administrator) so i
came up with this page that said install flash player, install
yahoo toolbar (not necessary for viewing flash content) so i
clicked a button that said install flash player.
this button took me to a new page that said: when you see the
animation above you are ready to use flash player. but instead of
the animation there was a little white square with a red square a
green circle and a blue triangle please help me...

I actually got it working. The interesting thing was that if
I clicked on the stop button to stop the installation, all
installed files apparently were deleted. I am guessing this since
sites I visited would still tell me I needed Flash Player 9.
However, if I used alt-apple-esc to stop the install problem, it
left all files and I am able to now access these sites.

I am a little confused. Yesterday morning, my computer was
working fine. A relative of mine got on the machine -- and when I
returned later, I received a message from a website that I was on
that I did not have Flash. I am on an Intel iMac with OSX. I have
tried downloading a new Flash installation pack -- it comes back,
mid-installation with the comment:
Macromedia Flash-Player has content of MIME type
"application/x-shockwave-flash", but you don't have a plug-in
installed for thsi MIME type. A plug in should be accessible on
this page (with a link to a web page).
I have visited as many web pages as I could find -- and read
a variety of tech notes. One instructed that I may not have proper
permissions, but I am the administrator on this system (it is a
non-networked personal machine). As Flash is a free product, they
cannot / will not help here, so I am thoroughly lost. Any and all
help would be appreciated.

this thread is really interesting, coz i used to have the
same problem with my imac g5 but somehow it solved itself, cant
remeber what i did.. but now i have a new problem: i install flash
player, all works fine, but as soon as i restart/shut down my
computer, it magically uninstalls itself!!!!! i have no idea how it
does it, or why, but i know that when i log back into my account
the little flash player logo as a removable drive has ejected
itself, and whenever i go to a webpage such as www.absolut.com i am
confronted with a quicktime logo with a '?' over the top of it and
have to re-download the installer and reinstall the plugin all over
again. im not even sure why the computer thinks it has anything to
do with quicktime when its clearly a Flash player problem, but
anyway.. so if anyone has any explanation can they please tell me,
coz its driving me INSANE!!! i was thinking of contacting Apple but
i thought id try here first. good luck with all your problems, may
your prayers be answered!

Unfortunately, there is no explanation whatsoever provided regarding how to use the two files, and how to install my product.
I feel like I am missing something obvious here, but can someone please explain.

Try uninstalling then run the Adobe Cleaner Tool
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Then double click the .exe file again.
What do I do with the .7z file?
Nothing. That's is an archive of files used by the .exe file during the installation process.
