Help installing the studio SP15 workplace edition.
All,
I am trying to install the netweaver developer workplace SP15. I have already successfully run the SAPINST uninstall process, now when running the install, it fails on the "SAP System installation" phase. Below is the log.
I have complete admin rights on my PC so I'm not sure what the problem may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you download the plug-in from? I used the link
http://www.graphistudio.com/aperture/index.php?p=diretta&c=&n=de&file=101
and it worked well. Did you use a different download site?
After running the installer you will see the plug-in, when you create a book (File > New > Book) and select the book type; set the book type to "Non Apple Books", then Graphistudio should become available.
A message came up saying it can't be installed because it unrecognized. Also saying something about aperture 1. Sorry, can't really remember the exact words.
We need to know the exact error message to be able to help you, if the above installer does not work for you.

I'm new in here. I've just got my Notebook Installed with WIndows 7 Enterprise 32 bit and I would like to install Visual Studio 2005 professional Edition(I've got the installer CD from the MSDN which is purchased in our Company) in my
notebook. There is an issue which often occured, it says:
A problem has been encountered while loading the setup components. Canceling Setup.
I've look up for the solution try lot of things to resolve the issue but no luck until now.
Any idea or experience to help me?

JDK 1.5 is not supported for NW installs. 1.4.2_10 is supported, but 1.4.2_08 is recommended. You can download the older JDK from the Sun website.
If you still have problems with the older JDK, post the contents of your jload.java.log for us to view.

Based on your description, you fail to install SQL Server 2008 R2 on Windows 7 SP1.
According to the screenshot, we need to verify that if SQL Server 2008 R2 setup disappears when installing setup support files. If so, please post the error message from SQLSetup.log file of the temp folder for analysis. Click on start->run and
type %temp % and press enter, you will navigate to the temp folder. For more details, you can review this
blog. Also, please help to collect the summary and detail logs, by default, the logs can be found in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log.
In addition, there are some proposals for you troubleshooting this issue.
1. Ensure that your system meets the
hardware and software requirements for installing SQL Server 2008 R2.
2. Make sure that you install SQL Server 2008 R2 with a admin account, and please choose “Run as administrator” to complete installation.
3. Make sure that previous installations of SQL Server has been uninstalled completely from your computer. For more details, please review the similar blog:

4. Stop any Anti-Virus software when installing SQL Server 2008 R2.

Can I get help installing the latest version/update of iTunes on my PC?
Assuming the install has failed as it has for several others...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

By default, ML no longer comes with the Java runtime preinstalled. I believe the route to enabling Java if you are going to need it is to run the Java Preferences app found in Utilities. It will inform you of Java's absence and offer to install the latest version and activate it. On subsequent runs, the Preferences app will allow you to fine tune how the runtime operates.
Note that the new default operation is for the applet plugin to be disabled. You need to enable it as needed and it self-deactivates if unused in awhile. Also important to note that Java comes in both 32 and 64 bit versions and you can set the preferred order. Default is 64-bit but I've had issues with some applets failing to run and have had to switch the order. -

I have instaled Discoverer Administration edition 3.1 and after it Discoverer 3i for the web. In the Admin edition Icreated one EUL and Tutorial firs. It was O.K. But I deleted Tutorial and then the EUL. After it I created again new EUL and wanted to install the Tutorial but at the end of instalation there is appeared the message: INVALID FORMULA OR FILTER. Nothing else, no help.
Does anybody know how can I install the Tutorial again?Sorry about that. I will make sure to stay away from any slang usage. When I said "bouncing" I meant to shutdown and restart the database. When I said "I imagined something just got hosed up" ... I meant that something funny was going on with the database. What relase are you currently using for Discoverer? There is a patch release fix (version 3.1.41) that can be applied to versions 3.1.25, 3.1.26, 3.1.27, 3.1.28, 3.1.36, 3.1.37, 3.1.38 or 3.1.40. So you may want to upgrade to this patch if you are not already using this. Then start back over trying to do what you have been doing. This could fix the problem you are experiencing. Hope I have been able to help more then I did the first time. Once again I apologize for my use of slang words. Good luck!

Need help installing Ubuntu Studio on my PPC G5 Powermac
I currently have a Powermac g5 PPC G5 DP 2.3. I have 10.5.8 running fine. I want to set a new partition and want to install Ubuntu Studio as my great love is recording and I'm dying to run Ubuntu as a new toy! What's the BEST build of Ubuntu Studio that will run on a PPC chip? How do I install it - will it boot from the DVD or CD? Also will it give me a dual-boot menu to choose what OS I want to use? Any help would be great as I'm a novice to Linux although I tried out a live CD on my Windows 7 laptop and was liking the new "drug"

Error when install the NetWeaver CE trial edition
Hi experts,
I tried to install the NetWeaver CE Developer Edtion. In the phase 2 "Define Parameters", there's a screen which asked me to input the "Database ID (DBSID)" and "Database Host", the value of "Database Host" is "48D26CA0500E46A", and it was in the unchangable status. When I click the next button the following information occurs:
"This computer's host name is '48D26CA0500E46A' but a reverse lookup returned 'cedev'. This will lead to problems later on when starting the Web Application Server. SOLUTION: Insert a line: '10.10.0.10 48D26CA0500E46A' into the host file 'C:/WINDOWS/system32\drivers\etc\hosts', and then continue with the installation."
I found only insert the '10.10.0.10 48D26CA0500E46A' into hosts would also cause this error, so I removed the "10.10.0.10 cedev" line and tried to continue the installation, and following error info occurred in the "Prerequisites Checker Results" with Severity "HIGH":
"The host name has to be an alphanumerical string of characters [A-Z] and [a-z] and digits [0-9], and the hyphen (or minus) character "-". Although the newer RFCs permit host names beginning with digits, we recommend that host names begin with an alpha character. Maximum host name length is 13. Current host name: 48D26CA0500E46A. See also SAP Note 611361. (Updated 2005-06-24)

As described in the mentioned SAP Note, the hostname should begin with an alpha character and must be max. 13 characters long. Your current hostname does not fulfill any of these requirements. Please change it in the System Properties (Computer Name tab).

Need help : Installing the standalone OEPE for OSB 11g for development
Hi All,
It would be greatly appreciated if any one could share the details of installing the standalone OEPE (Eclipse along with the OSB plugin for 11g) for development purpose.
If possible kindly share the download link for the same.

To have OEPE with the plugins for OSB you actually have to install Weblogic with OEPE and OSB. OEPE will need the libraries in Weblogic and OSB installation...

HELP Installing the Flex SDK?????Step #4
I am using windows vista (32) and I just downloaded and
installed the newest jdk to program files.
Now, I have no clue how to define java_home/bin directory in
the system path. *Install the Flex SDK - Step #4
Can someone give me step by step details how to this? I've
never used Java or Flex.Right now (automatically, without tampering with anything),

Help installing the OUTPUT MODULE
I installed the download for the OUTPUT module in bridge, by following the directions on the adobe website. The module name appears in the upper right of the screen, but nothing happens when I click on the name. I put the module folder into the location ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC folder. I could not find a Bridge CC Extensions folder. I BELIEVE I PUT IT INTO THE RIGHT LOCATION.
There is no Adobe Bridge CC 2014. There are only Adobe Bridge CS6 and Adobe Bridge CC. Adobe Bridge CC has been modified to invoke/work with Photoshop CC 2014. This is a problem for users that have both Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC 2014 installed. From my previous append you should see where Adobe Output Module get installed on Window. I use the Adobe instructions for installing the output module into Adobe. Here is what I downloaded and where the output module workspaces get installed.

I need help installing the Flash player

problem I'm having is that at first there was a problem with the Active X so I followed one of the feeds to uninstall all of any different types of the program just in case there was mixed versions of the software and then reload the software after a reboot of the system. Now I'm getting different problems. The first was that the program couldn't find the DSOUND.dll file so I downloaded a copy of it and put it into my SYSTEM and SYSTE32 file folder that went away. Now I'm getting that it can't open the KERNEL32.dll file, the file is on the system and I copied the most recent date of the file into the SYSTEM, and SYSTEM32 file folder. I still get that it can't register the Active X and it won't load. This is a Hewlett Packard system running Windows XP Professional SP3. So if one of the techies could tell me what to do from here I would be most appreciative. Thank You TimHi, If you are getting that message, then that is normally a permissions issue. This thread has Instructions for Uninstalling and Installing FP for IE. You can try that and if you still get that message, then that same thread has another procedure which you'll see.
AVG has a LinkScanner that can conflict and a couple of other, 3 I think in the browser. They don't block the Install of the ActiveX Control but may interfere with viewing Flash content.

when I exit Photoshop all my preferences are being reset instead of saved. I.E. cursors, units and rulers, actions, desktop layout, etc. I am using CS5 on a PC running Windows 8
