Help,Intermittent problems accessing the Editor in Elements 10

Sometimes when I try to access the Editor,either from the Organizer or directly, it will let me in and I can then edit several images, without any problems. Then without warning it fails, and I cannot access the Editor in any of the editing Modes. The only way I have been able to to overcome the problem is to come out of Elements and Reboot my PC, then re enter Elements and start afresh.
I am using a Sony Vaio PC with wndows7 Home Premium, and AVG security. I have also fairly recently installed a Bambo Pen and Touch tablet, but I think the problem stems back from before that installation.
I am not very "computer literate" but any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Try this:
Bypass the Unwelcome Screen by creating Desktop shortcuts for the Organizer and the Editor, and restarting your computer.
The Editor's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The Organizer's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
The Unwelcome Screen leaves a zombie process running which prevents the actual program from launching again.

i am trying to install Exchange 2007 SP1 in a Windows 2003 Server standard 32 bits version.
During the "Readiness checks" i received the next error in "Hub transport role prerequisites":

There was a problem accessing the registry on this computer. This may happen if the Remote Registry service is not running; it may also indicate a network problem.
Remote Registry service is running. I've searched for the error in google and in some topics appears that the error is due to the "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing" is not installed in the LAN properties. The server has 2 network cards and in both of them is checked. One of the connections is disabled.
I dont know what more to do, any help will be appreciated.

HELP! Problem accessing usb hard drive on airport extreme

Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help me.
I have a Macbook Pro (2009). Recently put on Lion and have had no problems until now. Last night, the computer could not see the USB HD that is plugged into our Airport Extreme that it was using for the time machine backups. HOWEVER, our Macbook (white 2007) which is also running Lion has no problems accessing the HD! The Airport is working fine as we can still access email, the internet and my NAS drive (D-link 323).
So, I went into the Airport utility and clicked on the Drive section... the drive is shown on the airport and the settings are all set for sharing (etc. etc.)... but in finder I cannot access any of the drives on the airport... I just get a "Connection Failed" and then a pop-up saying that there was an error connecting to the airport, check the address and if the problem persists check with the admin.
This is what I have done so far....
1. Rebooted the airport (using Airport utility)... didn't work.
2. Turned off the USB HD and turned it back on.... didn't work.
3. Verified and fixed the permissions on the macbook pro... didn't work.
4. Turned everything off and then restarted everything again... didn't work.
5. Compared all the settings on our macbook for the Airport extreeme (using the airport utility) and the macbook pro... everything was identical nothing needed to be changed.
6. Tried to connect to our macbook using the macbook pro... came up with a "Connection Failed"... HOWEVER I was able to share the screen?!?!?!?!?
7. I pinged the airport... no problems pining...its only has problems connecting to the drives on the airport.
The airport is shown under the "shared" section of finder along with my NAS dirve (D-link 323) and the macbook... I can access the D-link with no issues but nothing else.
Please help... this is very frustrating and It dosnt make sence as to why it can see the drive but wont let me access it.

A little update... spoke to Apple Care... they said that this happens and then are aware that this happens, but had no answers how to fix.
Unfortunately not much help... anyone else have any information?

What do you mean by "impossible to use"? I use a magic mouse with PSE all the time. What are you wanting to do that isn't working?

Element 12 : Problem with the editor.

When I save an edited photo edited in photoshop element 12, I make sure that the box to get the editor to save the picture and then get the organizer to save it in the library, sometimes it does it and most of the time it does not. I have to import the new pictures manually in the organizer. Whats the problem? I never had this happen to me in photoshop element 9. Can someone assist me there. Thanks.

This is a known bug where catalogs have been converted from earlier versions. But it doesn't affect everyone. You could try the following in your PSE9 catalog and then try converting again:
Display all missing files and either search for them or delete them from the catalog.
Repair the catalog
Optimize the catalog
Then convert again and see if things are better.
Another workaround may be to use file backup from your PSE9 catalog then restore into PSE12.
Or if all your important information is in tags write the tag information to the files and reimport into a new catalog (but I think you'll lose all the face recognition data doing it this way).

Accessing the Editor

I have been using Photoshop Elements 5 for a few years without problems but now I can not go from the organizer to the editor ..... I get a message saying it is an invalid address and can not connect to the editor. Any ideas on this one.

No you would not loose the editing and tagging by uninstalling and reinstalling.
In order to help identify how you can delete the Preferences using Windows Explorer, please post which version of Windows you are running. Then you can delete the Preferences first before trying an uninstall and reinstall.

Problem Opening the Editor

I have just installed Elements 9 and have been using it successfully for about a week. Last night I installed "Classroom in a Book, The official training workbook from Adobe Systems" and began the lessons. Tonight when I tried to open the Editor, I got the following message:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.
Then the entire program closes. I have no problem getting into and using the Organizer, but am unable to edit. I installed the updates hoping that would help and I have completely turned off the computer and removed the battery in hopes that would help, to no avail.
Can you help me with this problem?

Help intermittent problem with logging in

Help i have intermittent problem with logging in, sometimes it just comes up with the desktop without any icons or dock and i have to restart the server so i can log on properly, but it doesn't happen all the time, any ideas would be appreciated???

The clients login window just shakes and won't login. I did find one thing that helps some of my Mac Lab woes.
Some students get a dock that only has 3 icons. These students also will have saving and printing problems when they get this default dock.
I think some of the problems occur when the student gets over quota, some preference files get corrupted.
1. Student will login.
2. Open the student's home folder. Then open Library and Preferences.
3. Find the file com.apple.homesync.plist and delete it.
4. Empty Safari Cache and the user's Trash Can and make sure they are not over quota.
5. Logout and login.
This will fix some problems, but not the problem when students can't login at all.

Is anybody else experiencing problems accessing the itunes store?

i'm on a macbook pro 10.6.8. my itunes is 10.3.1. i haven't experienced problems before, just today when i was trying to update some iphone apps. the updates wouldn't download and it kept giving me the network timeout error. i checked my connection and everything is working, so it's clearly not a network problem. i also tried logging on to the app store app, and it wouldn't let me. i always get the error connection failed. i am however logged in via itunes. i just couldn't update apps or browse my account info, etc.
i couldn't access the itunes/app store on my iphone either.
i also browsed the various topics on here, which were similar to what i was experiencing and have tried the fixes offered but have had no luck so far. i was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem right now? most of the topics i read date as far back at 2007-2008 =/
any help/info would be appreciated. thank you!

I live in France, I don't know where you're living but it seems to be a "worldwide problem"...
I'm waiting some answers, but I'm affraid that it an Apple's servers Error. The app store doesn't work on iOS (iphone 4 / 4.3.3) iTunes (MacOSX 10.6.8 iTunes 10.3.1) and on the Mac App Store too (1.0.2)
So wait and see....

Now I can listen songs's extract and download Podcasts. But for the apps of App Store and Mac App Store. It's also the same thing...

Problem showing the selected node element in Adobe Forms

Hi,
I have a Webdynpro Application with a 0..n cardinality node. The requirement is when the user selects one element of the node in my WD app, the data of the selected node element has to be shown in my Adobe Form. Now the form is showing the first element of the node. How can I achieve this?

Problem mit Diashow Editor in Elements 8

Hallo,
mit Elements 8 kann ich zwar eine Diashow erstellen, beim Abspielen bleibt das Fenster im Editor und bei Vollbild jedoch schwarz. Ich sehe unten, dass die Show läuft und höre auch die Musik. Mit Elements 7 hatte ich kein Problem.
Ergänzung:
1. Wenn ich auf einzelne Bilder klicke erscheinen diese im Fenster.
2. Ich habe mit Diashows, die ich mit Elemenst 7 erstellt habe und die damals korrekt funktioniert haben, nun im Diashow Editor von Elements 8 das gleiche Problem. Hat sonst wirklich niemand das gleiche Problem?

Ich habe Elements 7 wieder installiert und konnte nun die Diashow erstellen. Das Problem liegt somit beim Diashow-Editor von Elements 8.
I reinstalled Elements 7 and was able to create the Diashow. So problem must be with the Diashow Editor of Elemets 8.

Intermittent problem with the line

I have an intermittent problem with my line which crackles or you miss parts of a conversation because voices spoken or listened to keep coming and going all the time or the phone cuts out altogether
Telephone the help line which said that the line was OK at that moment as they did the other time I called keeps on happening on a daily basis every time we get a call.
Next door neighbour and other neighbours around this close all linked to the same local bt or open reach cabinet all tell me they have the same problem.
Neighbours called their own phone company who rent the line off of BT who got an open reach engineer out the next day and found that the local exchange or cabinet next to the house across the road from me all the phone line coverings have corroded away and that the wires are all damaged and corroding away or rotting away.
So the local road (culdisack) has to be dug up and the exchange and wires have to be replaced from that junction box to the next junction box or exchange, what i want to know is when will this be done as all the neighbours and i have been reporting it to BT for ages but it was not till next door got their company to investigate was the problem found.
How long till we have to wait for a repair and better lines back to a good service, Months, years. when?
It would not be so bad but i have a lifeline connected to my phone so if i am in trouble it calls for help but with the fault with the line half the time it cannot get a single message or call out and before now i have been left on the floor for ages before someone came back home to get me off the floor as the box just said the phone line was disconected and could not get a dial tone or call out.

What's your OS? and Oracle version?
Make sure the isqlplus service is up and running. Next check you have not firewall issues.

Having problem access the EJB 3 from Web Component

I have an EJB 3 entity AuctionItem and a session ItemProcessor only implements the local interface IItemProcessor, then I use a servlet to access the findAll method in the ItemProcessor. I've created a Enterprise Applicaiton project to contain the ejb jar and the war file, but after I deploy the ear successfully, I couldn't access to my servlet through http://localhost:8080/AuctionWeb/AuctionServlet, it keeps giving me error like follwoing. The most common reason for this failure is if your web.xml does not refer to the latest web application

Problems accessing the manufacrurer dll

I am trying to communicatete a Gigahertz-Optik optometer using dll file provided by the manufacturer. I have Labview 7.1 and operating on Windows 2000. After a proper function is selected in the "Call library Node" and excpected assignments done, the program crashes.
The error message reads, "An exception occurred within the external code called by a Call
Library Node. This may have corrupted LabVIEW's memory. You should save
any work to a new location and restart LabVIEW. VI "xyz.vi" was stopped
at Call Library Function Node 0x448 of subVI "called-function.vi" ".
I have attached my program and a header file provided by the manufacturer. ANy help would be appreciated.

Can't access the DLL, but my guess is that it's because you're not providing a string to use as the buffer for the error message. Unless the DLL creates this dynamically, it's probably expecting you to pass in a buffer. I would try wiring in a string of adequate length. I would also change the parameter from LStrHandle to just a C string pointer.
I would strongly suggest that you should look at the shipping examples, as there's a very good example that shows you how to call functions in a DLL using a variety of parameters.
