Help, iPad playing up

My ipad is not accepting my password to my email account, my emails are working through other sources, but ipad is not happy! I have tried deleting account and turning ipad off, it made no difference.

I just experienced the same bot on my Ipad and Ipone. Got home from work and then suddenly I got the message that my username or password was wrong :/ I tryed both deliting it and changing my email password (i have Yahoo), but still not working!

IPad plays music in the background even when off. I cannot stop it.

My iPad plays music from somewhere that I cannot turn off. Music is not coming from Sirius, Pandora, ITunes or iMusic, is very low and does not react to changing the volume. If I tune off the iPad it is still there.

Hello--I am an architecture student and I am having problems
with my Flash website. I have uploaded my half-done website on

My animations end on frame 311, where I have five buttons
linking to different frames (The Resume button links to 312 and the
About Me button links to 313 using
on (release) {gotoAndPlay(frame number);
I also have "back" buttons on 312 and 313 which link back to
311. All three frames have the stop command applied.
My problem: Whenever I publish and try to click on Resume or
About Me, it will only play to 312 due to the stop command, thereby
not allowing me to get to the About Me frame (313). I have tried
taking away the stop command but then when I click on the About Me
button the timeline plays through 312 to get to 313 and you can
actually see it flash through on-screen. I just want ithese buttons
to jump to their respective frames and stop, without seeing
anything in-between or stopping where it shouldn't. Is there a
specific actions script that needs to be applied or would it be
easier to create new flash documents for each link?
Hopefully someone can help m after viewing the website
itself.

Use the gotoAndStop(frame number): instead of play.
The playhead will stop on the disignated frame, and you won't
need a stop
action on it.

Help ipad 2 only receives some emails

My dad is only receiving some of his emails on his ipad 2. He has AT&T for email with a .att extension. I set the email up using the other option since they did not list AT&T. If he sends an email from the ipad and gets a reply it comes back to the ipad. However, if he sends the email from his pc and the person replies he only gets the reply on the pc and not the ipad. Also, i think he is missing other incoming emails on the ipad I will need to confirm that. If anyone can help, I sure would appreciated it. He has been bugging me for two years to fix it. Thx.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

IPad plays audio books way to fast

My ipad plays all my audio books at a speed that is at least twice as fast as normal. I can find no control with the current iOS 5 software to alter this playback tempo.

Flash is not supported on the iPad - and as Adobe have announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.

Why won't ipad play music or video files?!

This started suddenly. Music and videos will load but not move at all (jumps right back to pause as soon as I hit play.) I know they are loaded because I can jump to different frames of video but neither will move at all. Other apps are also snarled (This American Life keeps quitting as soon as I go to certain screens.)
Have I mentioned that I wish I just bought another PC? Same BS, twice the cost...

Try this and see if it helps.
Quit all apps in the recents tray completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Can iPad play files directly from time machine?

I want to be able to play my movies and music on my iPad and apple tv without plugging in my laptop and external hard drive. I figured I could load my files on time machine and then play them using iTunes home sharing. Does this work? Any experience would help. Thanks.

If you want to move your itunes library to the TC we recommend you don't.. the TC is designed as a backup target for Time Machine.. it might appear vaguely like a NAS but it has zero ability to backup files.. and fails with surprising frequency. and is slow.. and what happens when you corrupt your itunes library.
If you just want to put individual files and play from there.. well neither is it a media player. Basically TC fails at anything and everything except being a TM backup target.

My iPad plays a sound at the same time (8am) every morning

I'm not sure what's causing it, but my iPad 4 plays a Tri-tone sound every morning at 8am!!!
I'm not sure what's causing it but I want to turn it off from happening. After it plays the Tri-tone sound (just one) at 8am - I check the Lock Screen and there's nothing showing on-screen (notifications) to indicate what's causing it. I don't have any alarms set, and no repeating calendar events set at 8am, or anything obvious to me that would play the sound for any reason.
How can I check what's causing this to turn it off from happening? (I have to remember to mute the sound the night before to stop the sound playing out loud the next morning, but I don't want to have to keep doing this).

It has to be an app or a notification of some type. But tracking it down can be quite a daunting task. I have seen posts like this before, and every one that I have seen could be traced back to app.

From the forum I see iPad does not play mov format. Is this true with Safari on iPad too? Is there a plugin? Will the latest update fix this?
Only recommendations I have seen on forum is convert to MP4. Not very helpful if browsing the Internet and it is not my content.
