Help iPhone 4 Not Turning On!!

Hi, my iPhone 4 has been stuck at a black screen all day. I pulled it off of the charger this morning and made a phone call, and put it down. It seemed to reset itself and hung at a black screen with the Apple icon. It ended up boot looping a couple of times for some reason and now it is stuck at a plain balck screen. There is no Apple logo. I cannot turn the phone back on. iTunes is not responding when I plug the phone into iTunes. I have tried holding the power and home button for 2 - 3 minutes and still nothing. I am a new iPhone user, just came over from a Droid and was loving it until this happened this morning. I have done a lot of searching on google but have only found issues while hanging on the black screen with the Apple logo. If I can get that far I can restore the firmware on my phone, but I can't get that far. Does anyone have any advice for me on how to resolve this? I can't be without my phone much longer. If my kids school needs to get a hold of me, or if there is an emergency, I will not find out about it. I tried calling myself and went straight to voicemail, so I assume that means the phone is off. Any help to get this back on? Thank you so much in advance!

If you have an Apple Store or AT&T/Verizon store near you, that is probably the fastest way to get some assistance. You could have a rare situation where the phone just died. You can also call Apple Support.
When you plug it into your computer, does iTunes see it? If so, maybe you can do a restore.
Otherwise, the only thing I can think of (other than visiting a store) is to try plugging it back into the charger for a bit on the off chance it's an issue with your battery.

Firstly i would like to thank anyone reading this post and taking the time out of their day to try and help my problem.
I have a Lenovo U410 Ultrabook i've had my Laptop for around 1-2 years now and i have kept it in a very good condition there have been no issues with it. About 1 Week ago i was using my laptop left my room for about 30 minutes to have a shower and upon returning i saw that my Laptop was not charging i unplugged the charger from the laptop and place it back in nothing happened. so i turned off my laptop and unplugged the charger from the wall socket. since then i have not been able to turn my laptop back on i have tried but the led's flash twice when i tried to turn it back on. i have changed the fuse in my charger about 3 times with new fuses all 3AMP required and there is no difference at first i thought it was a problem with the charger but now im thinking otherwise and i'm quite worried. After searching around the internet for a fix i have pressed the power button for 30 seconds and the leds blinked 3 times and after trying various methods to turn it back on it has not been succesful i have even uplugged the battery and plugged it back in after removing the back cover. i have no warranty left as it expired and i was not able to renew it. if you have had any experience with similiar problems or any suggestions i would be very interested to hear what you think the next step for me would be. i dont have much money to invest into this laptop but i am prepared to spend some money if need be.

i have a iPhone 4, i was installing a application called istragram, the application not installing & hanged, i switched off my iPhone, after that my phone is not turning on. Now only Apple logo display. i tried switch off & home bottom hold 1minutes, but no result, now only apple logo dispaly.
Pls. help me.
i did i see the apple logo but it is not on .. am afraid that something is wrong with it. pls help me.

Sounds like a hardware problem. I suggest you take it to Apple and have them check it out for you.

I am so sorry to hear about the situation, lilvtric3bo1! I apologize as we do not have access to the GPS capabilities of the phone. Do you remember downloading any other 3rd party tracking apps?

You did not describe the problem very well. Go to iCloud.com, log in with your Apple ID, and select Find My iPhone. Click All Devices In the header. Do you see your iPhone in the device list? If not, Find My iPhone was activated using a different Apple ID.

White Flashing Screen, iPhone not turning on

I setup the new itunes software 7.3, and now it cannot play any music back. There is a warning that says audio playback will not work.
Then i went through the activation steps to setup the iPhone, and since i am coming over from Alltel, Apple said i will be notified via e-mail when i can finish activation (in 24 hours).
After that, i started dragging and dropping music and video to my iPhone. when it was done i selected the eject button.
Now when i try to turn my iPhone on, it stalls for a white, and a white screen pops up randomly. I've tried all the reset steps.
The message said i could start using the features, but apparently i can't even get the iPhone to boot up.
Whenever i plug in the iPhone, and try to select the iPhone, the only ting i get is the cell phone message abotu activation, i can't see any tabs or anything.
PLEASE HELP!!

the message in itunes told me you coudl use the features. i just now put it in the docking station plugges into my power oulet, and the same thing happened: a quick white blinking scree, then nothing.

This is not an Apple forum, this is iPhone users helping other users with hardware problems. Apple does not have an international warranty. Warranty service is only provided by Apple in the country in which the phone was purchased, the US in your case. The phone cannot be mailed internationally to the US, it must be brought in person to an Apple store. See if you can contact someone you trust and let them have it examined in the US.
But perhaps you should try something simpler first. Describe the exact problem you are having with each iPhone (in Hebrew, if that is your native language) and let someone on this forum try to advise you. There are many languages spoken on this site.

Help iphone not being recognised by pc

hi anyone who can help.been trying for 4 days to find an answer on internet as to y my iphone 3gs will no longer connect to my pc let alone show up in itunes .i know it cant be my phone as i tried it on another laptop .ive tried all the usual fixes that are listed .different cable ,all my usb ports,the misconfig support thing ,device manager not even showing up as a question mark ,nothing as if its not plugged in it worked last week ,no new software installed ,phone not jailbroken so what the **** do i do cheers if any one can help im tearing what little hair i have out x

Someone please help--iphone not recognized by computer

i've read and searched everywhere for what to do.
when i connect my iphone to the computer, the computer says the device is not recognized. ive reset my iphone, the computer uninstalled then reinstalled itunes, did all the stuff to find it under device manager and it still comes up unknown device. ive tried other computers and cords as well. ive done everything everyone else has been told to do. someone please help me out!

Lost iPhone - Not Turned On

Hi,
I lost my iPhone a few days ago. As far as I can tell, it has yet to be turned on. Calls go right to voice mail. Does this mean it has yet to be reset or jail broken or somehow wiped and resold to someone else?
I don't know how it works when someone finds a phone and decides to use it for themselves or sell it to someone else. It does have the screen locked, so you need a password to get into it once turned on.
How do these things work?

If your phone is turned off or restored, there is no way to locate it. Contact your carrier, see if they offer blacklisting, if so, that will prevent the phone's reactivation, but not locate it. Even though you passcode protected the phone, change all of your passwords...especially your Apple ID & email.
Your phone can be restored, in iTunes, then used by whoever found it or sold to an unsuspecting buyer. If blacklisted, it will most likely be shipped out of the country, hacked if carrier locked, then re-sold.

Iphone not turning off

this is my second iPhone 4s I have had the same problem with. I try to switch it off, it goes into closedown (spinning wheel), then the black screen then it restarts unprompted.
As my first phone was under 12 month warranty Vodafone replaced it free of charge, I was not told the replacement was a recon and only under a 3 month warranty. Guess what? the replacement phone has gone the same way. Vodafone want £150 to replace a dodgy phone!
Can anyone help?

HELP IPHONE NOT CHARGING!

Hi, I am an avid Apple user and have had several Apple computers. I am currently using a 15.4 Macbook Pro. I recently updated my iPhone to 1.1.3 (the latest January update) and it was fine for about a week. Now, it won't charge in the adapter, and when I plug it into my computer I get a USB Over Current notice. I have tried 5 different ipod/iphone USB cables and nothing works! Is it the phone, the computer or the USB port??? **I was finally able to get it to charge using my car charger though.....

My husbands phone was doing the same thing. It turns out, the phone was "stuck" showing the battery slightly filled with red. I tried to restore his phone and, the first time, it failed. I proceeded to restore, again, but this time the restore worked and I re-synced his phone with his info (we only have 1 computer so I end up doing all the work). As soon as the restore was complete, his battery was full green on the screen. He hasn't had any problems with the battery since, so you really should try a restore if you already haven't done so.
If a restore doesn't work, call 800-my-iphone. Its the new Apple Tech support specifically for iPhone and, unlike Applecare Tech Support for all other mac prod., they are open 24/7.

Original iphone not turning on

i just got the new iphone 3gs and switched out my sim card of the original iphone to the new one, and now my original one won't turn on. it keeps showing the apple symbol then turn back off. i have dropped it but i know that's not the problem. does any 1 know what i should do. i still want to keep the original iphone.

Have you tried resetting your iPhone?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

I am having issues with my iPhone 5 not connecting with my computer. I am running Windows 7 32bit on a Dell Optiplex 790. Periodically the computer will stop reading/charging my iPhone. The most recent version of iTunes has been installed, and all the USB ports used check out fine. The issue seems to be resolved after the computer is rebooted but after a week the connection will stop working. The issue has affected both my old iPhone 4s and now my iPhone 5. I am wondering if I anyone has had this periodic issue and what they did to permanently resolve it.
