Help iPhone4 only headphone set is working I cannot use the phone in a normal way, voice control keep coming up
The update did not do anything.
AT&T cannot and will not do anything, they do not provide support for iPhones, Apple does.
The issue is not with the iPhone or iOS if you've reset network settings and tried forgetting the Wi-Fi Network, it is specific to the network.
Check the settings on the router, try disabling the security settings first... that will clarify the issue is not with the device but rather the Network.

I just "upgraded" my iPhone with the new software. As a low vision person, your phone was always previously helpful. I now discover that I cannot use the phone easily. The font has been changed to a very narrow typeface and the greyscale has been altered to reduce contrast. The background is now grey as well rather than white. The accessibility options permit only three choices. First, increase type size. With the the low greyscale, thin typeface, increasing type size makes it HARDER to read. There is no option for contrast enhancement. Third, the background switch options suffers from the same deficit as the white background. The third choice is to enhance brightness but without the option to change contrast, this is useless. Am I missing something? Can this be fixed? How? When? Are you planning a similar negative "update"/change to other devices?
I am having the same problem. I have gone through every setting, set the bold font, contrast, larger font....everything I could find in any post to try and help - and between the new color scheme that makes it virtually impossible to use the pictures of my grandchildren as background (the picture colors now become the theme colors - which now match the colors of many of the "flat" icons...) I am finding the phone very difficult to use--espeically things like the calendar which has now become very hard to "see" and use. If I can't revert this thing to iOS6, I may have to get a different phone.

the new 8.2 update has left me with a red itunes logo and a charger end on the screen, i cannot use the phone at all, please help
Your phone is in recovery mode; connect it to a computer and use iTunes to restore it.

i connected my iphone 3g to itunes which was in 4.1 firmware and itunes ask for an update which i downloaded an updated the phone to version 6.1.3 but my phone cannot start it shows no service my sim card is not getting network and i cannot use the phone. what should i do.?
First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier. -
Hi yesturday,i was tranfering my photos of my phone to my computor,and the phone has froze on me,i cannot switch the phone on or of,what i can see on the screen,is the itunes logo with a cable on the screen,its looks the one you put the cable into one of the ports,there is no way possible to switch of or on please help,im stressed out lol,thankyou francis01224

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

I saw a message on screen : the activation server is temporarily not in use, the iPhone not activated.
Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it or after a few minutes and try again. -

Can someone please help. My IPhoneS stopped working right after I did the latest update which was yesterday. Now, the phone does not work at all. When turned on, the screen shows a picture of USB cable pointing to the ITunes logo. I have tried just about everything, and cannot get it working. It's like it is frozon. My ITunes does not recognize my device. Cannot dial out either. I desperately need to get it working. Can someone please help me.

The batteries in my Blue Tooth, wireless Mighty Mouse died. I changed the batteries and since then cannot get the mouse to work with my computer. I went through the process of attempting to connect the mouse (this came up after I restarted the computer) and the pairing has failed a dozen times or more even though the computer recognizes the mouse. Contact your service provider. Only they could do that.

Well I just got a new iPhone 4 and wish to use my Toyota Prius Hands-Free capabilities with the new phone in my 2006 Prius.
I tried setting up in the car but it says to enter pass key on the phone; which I can't figure out how to do as it gives me a key pad but
the only button is the "Call" button???You must unlock your phone by entering its passcode (if any), then go to Settings/Bluetooth. In the car you must enable Pairing mode (check the manual for the car). When the two see each other you may have to enter a pairing passcode, but this should be displayed in the car. For most hands-free pairing the passcode will be "0000", but you should check the car's manual.

I have an iphone 4s black 16g. The characters on screen have gone so large that I cannot key in the passcode to access the phone or make a call, can anybody help out? I have tried rebooting, without success.

I attempted to update my iPhone 4 without realizing that I need to sync it with my laptop. My iPhone 4 is now stuck in the connect to iTunes mode and now I cannot use it. Is there a way to reverse this so I can use my phone because I do not have my computer with me?
Maybe it was hacked before and now through the update it's locked back to the original carrier.

Can anyone help. I tried to update my iPhone 4 this morning and it just got half way through the update and froze. I managed to turn it off eventually, but now all it will do is show the apple sign fading in and out and is un usable. It's not even being recognised as plugged into the laptop!!!!!!!

I was backing up my phone with ICloud then all of a sudden it is saying that I have to plug into Itunes. Waht can I do?
Not really necessary to go into DFU mode when the device is just reporting it is in recovery mode if it is saying connect to iTunes. Connect to iTunes and do a restore. See this support document if you have any issues. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
