Help! Ipod 40 gig does not display songs/folders

My daughter says none of her songs or folders show up on her Ipod. We had this problem 3 mos ago & they replaced her Ipod with a new one.
Any Suggestions

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

HELP! Ovi suite does not display Photos only thumb...

Hi, please help. Ovi Suite does not display Photos saved in my computer. Just getting Default grey image for everything on the thumbnails. OS XP home (Service ack 3). Run the repair and nothing. I uninstalled the application deleted everything to do with Nokia. Downloaded the application again and still the same problem. Nokia Ovi version 3.1.0.84. The only problem is that, Just shows grey thumbnails and no thumbnail photos. See screenshot attatched
I followed this troubleshooting steps and it still the same issue!..
Step 1
- Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel
- Click Ovi Suite
- Click Repair.
Once repair is completed then please restart computer and check.
If Step 1 didnt work, then try the below step
Step2
-Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel
- Click Ovi Suite
- Click Uninstall
Also uninstall the following f
- Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
- PC connectivity Solution
Then right click my computer, click manage.
- Device Manager-Ports- If you find anything by name Nokia please unistall ( Dont remove anything else)
Then reinstall windows Installer from the link provided below

- Then restart computer.
- Download and install Ovi Suite
- Restart Computer again
- Connect the device, dont open Ovi Suite and wait for all the driver to be loaded by windows.

I guess sometimes this happens when the direct x is missing or corrupted in the system. Please download and install from the link provided below.

Pls Help! My content does not display!!

The customised content i have cretaed does not display.
I created an URL iview. I created a page and added the iview to the pager. I then cretaed a role, within the role editor i created a folder(Test) and then added the page to the role. I assigned myself the role.
Opened up a new session, Test does not exists in the navigation bar.
How do i get it to display ?

You must make either the role, or the folder that you've created inside of it, an entry point.
When you are looking at your role in the editor (where you add pages, iviews etc to your role) you will see on the right hand side of the page some propeties. Select 'Show All' and then change 'Entry Point = No' to 'Entry Point = Yes'. Or you can select your folder, press the 'Properties' button, now the properties on the right hand side are for the folder inside the role, not the role. Here you can make the folder the entry point if you like.
Everything inside an entry point is visible, whether or not it's own 'Entry Point' property is selected as 'Yes'. This means that if you make the role and 'Entry Point' everything that you add to the role will be visible.

Lightroom does not display imported folders in correct location

Lightroom 5.7
In Lightroom, I try to import photos and store them in a folder named by date. All import settings are configured in such a way that Lightroom indicates that my photos will be imported as I want them to be.
Lightroom creates the folder in the correct location on disk.
However Lightroom does not display the newly created folder in the correct location after import, instead it adds the folders to the top level of my catalogue.
I've triedimporting from both from my cameras card and from a local folder, the results are the same for both methods.
Does anyone know why this is happening or do you have any tips on how I can trouble shoot this issue?
Something that may be related to this issue... while in Lightroom, if I right click the top level folder and click "Synchronize folder", Lightroom displays a dialog box indicating that there are new photos and missing photos...

I have been importing photos in the same way for years. I have have upgraded Lightroom once, and I have swapped computers once.

This problem most likely occurs when there has been a case change in a path on disk. In other words (using the screenshot at the top of this post as an example), something like this:
/Users/hurley/Pictures/photographs
intentionally or unintentionally gets changed to:
/Users/hurley/Pictures/Photographs
(i.e., "photographs" was initially lowercase, but got changed to an uppercase "Photographs")
As you've discovered, Lightroom does not handle this well. You can fix the problem by completely changing the path, and then updating Lightroom with the new path. Try these steps:
1. Quit Lightroom.
2. In the Finder (i.e., on disk, not in Lightroom), alter the path that your photos are stored at. In other words (again using the screenshot at the top of this post as an example), create a new folder called "Test" inside the "Pictures" folder, and then put the "Photographs" folder inside the "Test" folder, so that the new path looks like this:
/Users/hurley/Pictures/Test/Photographs
4. Launch Lightroom. In the Folders panel in Lightroom, you should now see a question mark “?” on the “photographs” folder (and all the folders within it) because Lightroom doesn't know where they are any more.
5. Right-click on the “photographs” folder in the Folders panel in Lightroom, and choose “Find Missing Folder…” Direct Lightroom to the new location of the folder, i.e., /Users/hurley/Pictures/Test/Photographs. The folder, and the folders within it, should now be found, and the question marks should disappear from them in the Folders panel in Lightroom.
6. Now try importing again to see if the newly imported photos go into the right place.

IPod Nano does not display songs after upgrading to iTunes 7.1 & SW1.3

After installing iTunes 7.1 on my WIN machine and connecting my iPod nano iTunes asked me about upgrading my iPod's firmware. After I did this all the songs on my iPod where gone. When I connect my iPod to iTunes I see that 3,8 GIG is still in use, which should be correct, and it states it is analyzing song for "gapless playback". However, my songs don't show up in iTunes, nor on the iPod. I rebooted the firmware on the iPod (menu+select) but no results.
a) how to get my songs back to my iPod without going thru a factory reset?
b) how to get rid of iTunes 7 and V. 6 back?

Does it look like the song is playing at the top of iTunes? Can you see the timer moving?
Also, make sure the volume slider isn't all the way to the left (mute).

IPod album art does not match song

Whenever I play songs on my iPod the album art is messed up. The art does not show up with the correct song and I don't know what to do. I have checked and all of the album art is correct on the computer. I don't know what is wrong with my iPod and I would like to be able to solve this problem without having to send my iPod out to Apple. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

If you have an iTunes store account, you can use the "get album artwork" option in iTunes. You don't actually need to purchase anything from the iTunes store, just to have or create an account. Provided that the album or song for which you are looking to add artwork is available for sale in the store, iTunes will find it and add it to your library.
If you go to preferences/general in iTunes and check the box marked "automatically download missing album artwork", it will automatically add the artwork when you import a CD into iTunes.
One downside to this is that if you have an album or song misspelled in your iTunes library, it may not be found by iTunes because it will be looking for a match.

If you don't have an account or don't want to create one, here are a couple of other methods.
First off, make sure you have "show album art" enabled in iPod options.
Highlight a song or album in iTunes, then right click on it and select the "get album artwork" option.  Go to Google Image Search and type in the artist/album name and click on search images.   Double click on a picture you like, then at the top of that page click on "see full size image".   When you get that image, simply copy/paste it into the space for album artwork in iTunes.   Make sure you select the album in the browser of iTunes before you copy/paste.   You'd be surprised what Google Images can bring up. There are literally millions, and even obscure album artwork can be found.
In the unlikely event that Google can’t find an image, you can also get artwork from Amazon.
If you’re happy using images from Amazon, and don’t want to copy/paste, then iTunes Art Importer is a nice free program to do it for you.

In your iTunes Library, check the songs to see if they are set to Remember playback position. If they are, turn that off and Sync the iPod with iTunes for these new changes to take effect.

Media Browser PP CC does not display all folders

Using Premiere Pro CC. Windows 7. 980x, 16 Gb RAM, 2x Radeon 5800
I have one very large folder for documents that I back up regularly on my secondary D: drive keeping as much as I can off the C: drive which is an SSD.
The folder does not show up in the media browser or when I try to link footage. All the other folders on the drive show up.
I can scan the entire D: drive and it will eventually find the files, but it would be better to be able to view and select the folder itself.
Any suggestions?

Radio does not display song that is playing

I own a 5th gen iPod (Black, 16 GB). When I turn on the radio (Even if I "Scan" for stations) when a song is playing, the song name and artist do not show up on the screen like it shows in the pictures. How do I get this function to work?

According to your iPod's *User Manual*, which can be found below:
When you tune to a station that supports RDS (Radio Data System), song, artist, and station information appear in the display. After you tune to a station, the progress bar replaces the radio dial. The progress bar fills up as you continue to listen to the station.
So basically, in order for this feature to work, the radio station you are tuned to must support the RDS feature. If the tags aren't showing up, it's likely it's not supported.

Urgent Help Needed! N85 Does Not Display All SIM C...

Just updated my N85 (RM-334) to softwaer version 30.019 and installed some apps (such as Opera Mobile 10beta2, skyfire, youtube) and used my SIM card on other phones for 4 days. When I switched back to N85, I found only 98 SIM card contacts were displayed. But actually it has 248 contacts in SIM card.
I took out the SIM card and tried it on other phones like NOKIA 5300, blackberry, and all 248 contacts can be displayed on those phones. I tried adjusting contacts setting but nothing changed. Could anybody give a suggestion or hint how can I get back those contacts?

Spotify Desktop does not display song lyrics

Hi, my network has speeds above 100mbps, I believe that is enough to display the lyrics of the songs, but since installing the application for Windows. By clicking on lyrics appears the screen below.

I have a similar problem, and I don't even get the monkey error. All I get is a black screen in that section of the app that should have the lyrics and/or monkey. Edit: Spotify just crashed (I had tried restarting it 2 or 3 times already) and now lyrics are working fine. No clue what was causing the problem.

Searching by artist name does not show songs with artists name in song title

If i search by an artist's name in itunes, it does not display songs by a different artist that have the artist's name in the song title, such as remixes that have a parenthesis, then the searched artist's name after with no space in between, like it used to. For example, I searched "Munchi" (artist name), and it showed songs listing munchi as the artist, but not songs with munchi in the title. In the old itunes, if I searched "munchi", the list of songs would include the song Chicken Lover (Munchi likes 'em fried moombahton remix), which is a song by the artist "bassanova", but now that song and songs like that (remixes) in which the artist im searching has their name in the song title but not as the song artist, are not included. This is a serious problem for me as it leaves out alot of songs which the searched artist has collaborated on out. In the old itunes i would get a list of any song which had the word "munchi" in any field, whether or not the word munchi had any letters or symbols before or after it.

I FINALLY GOT IT! after months of relentless synching/autofilling problems on my 4th generation i figured out the solution.
this is what i did: plugged in ipod on off mode~>manually deleting my ipod's songs~>restored factory settings~>unchecked automatic synch~>made a new playlist with exactly the songs & order i wanted for my ipod (just dragged old playlists into the new one)~>then autofilled that new playlist into my ipod. came out like a charm! (before u autofill UNCHECK random add songs)
my ipod always ended up autofilling/synching my customized playlists wrong or it would automatically do my music library (and that was way unorganized), so this worked.

slideshow preset does not display list of itunes songs for music to accompany slide show (it did use to do this perfectly satisfactorily). Clicking to open itunes does not help.

Graham, the songs that are only in iCloud will show with a cloud icon with a download link. Click this link to download the song to your mac. It will stay in iCloud as well. But the local copy should show in iPhoto. In the example below, the song "Crying in the Rain" does show in iPhoto, because it has been downloaded, but the other songs do not.
