HELP...IPOD is stuck on screen

I just uploaded new songs and am so excited to use it this morning. I was scrolling through and my I Pod is stuck inbetween 2 screens. Very strange. It won't turn off, won't scroll, nothing...! Please help!!!

Try Resetting your iPod. Toggle the hold switch off and on a few times then hold down the MENU and SELECT (centre) buttons for five or ten seconds until you see the Apple logo appear then the menu button to go to the normal display: iPod isn't responding it appears to be frozen

ok: Put the slider to NO SCREEN LOCK: then hold down the Select (Middle button) and the menu button down for 10 seconds. (Maybe 15 seconds) Untill u see the apple logo.

Ok: My ipod iz stuck on hold,ive tried everything from switvhing the button back an forth 2 holdign the center button and menu. and i dont know how 2 do that restore factory setting thing, I read that i can let the battery run out but how can i if it goes 2 sleep? Plug your ipod into your computer. When it shows in iTunes it should show your ipod in the top. In the Versions section below there should be two things: "Your ipod is up to date" with an update button greyed out after it and "If you are experiencing problems...." right below that. At the end of that statement you should see a "restore" button. Click on that and it will as you if you are sure you want to restore as it will remove everything you put on your ipod from it. Click yes. It will then begin to reset it to factory settings. Finally, you will get a prompt telling you not to unplug your ipod as the process is completing and your ipod will show in itunes again when finished. Click "ok". When it is done it will show up as it did when you first purchased the ipod asking you to name it, etc.

HELP Ipod is stuck, will not shut down or respond to any button pushes

my ipod suddenly will not do anything, I was playing it & skipped to a track on it & it got stuck, the screen shows now playing but it is not doing anything, I cant get it to shut down play etc, or respond to any button click wheel pushes. I can feel it vibrating in my hand, I have plugged it in to itunes & nothing, it does not see it nor does windows. it has been working good so far, I just got it off ebay from someone 2-3 weeks ago. I have been using an inexpensive usb & AC charger with it, I did not see any reason to pay more for other branded usb & ac power adapters. I can feel it vibrating when I press the buttons but nothing happens.
I need some input soon, I dont want it to burn out.

what is causing it to crash? is there anyway to prevent it? I am using an inexpensive USB cable & AC power charger, can this cause problems? is there any difference between the cheap ones & the more expensive ones? I did not see any reason in paying 30.00 odd dollars for items that I can get for about 5.00 to to the same job, charge & sync my ipod. I have also just bought & been using an apple ipod radio remote to listen to FM radio, can this cause any problems?
Do skipping around to different songs & albums & sections on my ipod cause problems? is this bad for the hard drive?
when I 1st got the ipod, & hooked it up to itunes, I did not have to register it or anything, itunes just synced my library to it, in the info section on my ipod, it reads format; windows, & I am on a windows PC so it seemed ready to go.
do I need to do anything else to it now? it seems to be working now.

Ipod mini-stuck button/screen

My 4gb ipod mini was dropped and the click wheel was wedged underneath the ipod. I popped the wheel back into place but now the screen is stuck and the click wheel is not workin any more.

HELP iPod touch 3rd Yellow screen of the death!

i have iPod touch 3rd....
i never use it about 2 month.. and i charge it, the screen is yellow when i plug it to itunes.. the screen turn to apple logo...
and i wait for a minutes... and it turn off.... when i press the sleep/wake button .. is turn yellow again...
anyone know how to fix it?

If you use the iPod with more than one computer connect it to the main computer you use it with ( this is the first one it was connected to) and open iTunes. Then disconnect iPod from the computer, it should be unlocked: iPod: How to use the Screen Lock
If you can't get it unlocked you'll need to restore it. Just be aware that restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings, so if you have songs on your iPod that aren't on iTunes you will lose them if you have no back up. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. This happens when the operating system on the phone becomes corrupted. This could be because of a failed update to the OS or even a hardware failure due to being dropped or submerged in water. If you follow the instructions indicated, hopefully iTunes will be able to restore the OS and afterward you can restore the settings from a backup (assuming you have one).
If this does not solve the problem you will need to take the phone to an authorized repair center.

My iPod is "Stuck" on one screen! How Do I Fix It?

My iPod Nano is stuck on the Screen it looks like when you reset it! I plugged it into my computer to sync it with music and when I took it out, the music was there but it wouldn't play. I tried hitting the fast forward button but then it reset and it still won't come off the screen that has an apple! Basically what I'm seeing is a black screen with the white apple in the middle. Please!! I can still reset the iPod but it still get stuck in the "reset" screen! *+HELP ME+*

you can do is go to ijailbreak.com then select downloads section.......scroll down and see the latest version of ipod touch second generation is available for download.....when it gets downloaded connect your iPod to itunes or keep it connected then hold option and click restore (mac) search the software by writing in search "iPod" a thing with white cube will show up if it is the file you just downloaded click it and wait for itunes to do its work......you can ask more if you are on windows

I got a new ipod touch for Christmas.
Today I was going to put music on it, i was told there was updates.
So I went ahead to do them.
My Ipod is stuck on the screen with the usb cord pointing to the itunes logo.
In Itunes i'm told :
Itunes has dected an ipod in recovery mode. You must restore this ipod before it can be used with itunes.
Turning the ipod off - the same screen appears when it's back on.
When I click restore ipod and after restore and update is clicked ; Extracting software loads up at the top.
When its done this is the message I get:
The iPod 'iPod' cannot be restored at this time because the ipod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.
I've been looking up trying to figure it out myself and have read making sure a setting in Lan Settings in Internet Properties has ; Automatically detect settings checked. I still get the same ipod message.
I've tried holding the power and home key to turn it off, then powering it back on. But that doesn't work.
I installed itunes today, so its up to date - I checked.
I don't know what else to do.

My iPod is stuck on safari and won't turn off or return to home screen

I updated my iPod touch to iOS 6 and since then I've encounntered multiple problems. My iPod is stuck on safari and I can zoom in and zoom out but that's all I am able to do, I can't turn it off nor can I go back to the home screen. I tried letting it go on low battery but it's still on. The only button that works is the volume buttons. Help please?
