Try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost

ipod touch not updating emails. went through all the setting but it says my password is wrong when it is not. turned off the ipod and reset my account , can not verify my information. Please help, Bill
It is a Yahoo email account. I have been thru this several times, checking it every step. When I go to my emails it says that my password is incorrect but it is the same password I use on Yahoo. I have even restarted the computer, but that does not work. It tells me to log on to my Yahoo account so that it can VERIFY the account which I did but still nothing.

I have itunes in windows xp, but my ipod touch has updated version of itunes. Windows xp cannot get updated itunes. I am having difficulties transferring my music into my computer. Does any one have an idea how to do it?

That is not supported by Apple. If you are getting a network timeout error, disabling the computer's security software usuallys resolves that error.

I'm working in West Africa, and iTunes says it will take between 8 and 11 hours to download the OS (5.0.1). But I never have that long a stretch of uninterrupted electricity or internet. The backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music. If those are not in the iTunes library on which you did the update then they are gone. This has been the case for all updates and restores.

Maybe this has occurred to you folks at Apple, but how about an iPod Touch software update that allows the user to create 'folders' to organize YouTube bookmarks? Even better, a way to do this in the sync-page of iTunes as well. And another suggestion - a way to select which Safari bookmarks are synched; better yet which browser to sync (Safari, Firefox, etc. - can't do this on the Mac as far as I can tell).
