Help: Is it possible to control Google Map from Director?

Hello:
I am hoping that someone could help me on this.
I wonder if it's possible to include Google map in a
shockwave dcr? I am trying to include the map in the dcr, I also
want it to be able to call Google Map API and have a fully function
Google map in my movie. if it can, how to write the lingo?
At the moment, I put the Google map as a div on the html
page, then embed the shockwave dcr as an object, however, the dcr
is always on top of every other div, is it possible to set the dcr
movie stage background to be transparent, so that I can put my
Google Map div underneath the movie? or is it possible to let other
div float on top of the dcr?

Someone has hacked to Google database allowing them to create

google interface, perhaps this will provide some inspiration

While printing google map from FF4 its not displaying the map in the print out paper?

FF4 displaying the google map in my website. But while printing google map from FF4 its not displaying the map in the print out paper.
I chekced this FF 3.6 and there is no problem with this and other versions. FF4 having this problem.
What should I do for this? Please let me know.

What printer models is this intended for? I assume it is aimed at the lower end inkjets, with the suggestion of loading 10-25 sheets of paper.

Calling Java Script to open a Map (Like Google Map) from Oracle Forms 10g

Hello,
We are on Oracle EBS rel 12, Forms 10g. We have a requirement of calling a Custom Map application (Like Google Maps) from Oracle Forms 10g.
When the user enters the address like town, city, country etc and clicks on a button there should be a call to this Google Map like application which will pass the co-ordinates (Latittude, Longitude) to the map and shows the place on it. If the user selects a different location on this maps and closes the window the parameters co-ordinates (Latittude, Longitude) should be back in the calling form and this new location should replace the original location.
I appreciate if I can get some help for the above requirements.

Thank you for your reply. I was reading on the metalink that we could use the to call the java script from oracle Forms 10g (Doc ID 265863.1)
Example:
WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('javascript:void(window.open("http://www.oracle.com","","location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,status=no,"));self.close()','_blank');
I tried it but it did not open the any window as it claims. Am I missing anything? Is there any IE related setting which I need to modify for the above to work?

is it possible to control itunes dj from other computers on the same network? we have a computer running itunes connected to our speakers here at work, and we'd like to be able to control it through the other comptuers on the network. is this possible, or do you have to use iphones/ipads/etc?

AC is corret you can do that. It might work a bit better for you if you use a wired connection vs a wireless one for the ATV's.

Downloading google maps from apps store and songs from itunes.

When I try to download google maps from the apps store or a song in itunes on my iphone 4s, i get the following message 'your account is not valid for use in US store. You must switch to pakistani store before purchasing'. How should I be going about it?

Il existe plusieurs méthode pour le faire, plus ou moins complexe. Il faut voir suivant ce que vous souhaitez faire. Avoir une image statique, c'est assez simple en utilisant un navigateur web dans LabVIEW et en reconstruisant l'URL qui va bien. Il te faut juste après la latitude et la longitude pour choisir le point de la carte.
Si tu veux alle rplus loin, j'avais posté ça il y a quelques temps, mais je ne sais pas si ca fonctionne encore. Après pour utiliser les fonctionnalités plus complètes de Maps, il faut utiliser une API et surtout enregistrer son application pour obtenir un code.

Is it possible to embed Google Maps in Captivate?

Hi
I am using Captivate 7.0.1.237.
I want to insert Google Maps in one of my slides. I thought it is just a matter of getting the required link from Google Map (Open Google Map > Search for the required location > Click Settings > Copy the path in Share Link) and adding that in the Web Object interaction.
But it is not working. I have tested it from my local system and a web server.
Please advise.

Need help with icloud, FIND MY IPHONE, google maps

I pull up icloud on my computer, see all my iphones that are on listed but when I go to test the FIND MY IPHONE, all I see is the iphone I chose and a "CAN'T SHOW LOCATION, GOOGLE MAPS IS NOT AVAILABLE". How do I make it available? I have google earth downloaded on my notebook and it works on my desktop computer but not on my laptop. I have hit "display content" on the alert bar but I get nothing.

I had the same problem when I used Firefox as my browser; problem went away when I used IE instead.

Google map in director

I have greated in flash a google map application that works perfectly. the markers are updated from an .xml file.
When i import the .swf in Director 11.5 the control buttons appear, the buttons that let me change the map into "Map-Satellite-Terrain-Hybrid" work, and the markers also show up.Even the googlemap logo appear to the bottom of the screen.
But the maps do not load, i get a message saying that i have too zoom out because there is now image at that level. I zoom out but still i get the same message.
Anyone can help me? searched all over the net but i can't find anything.need to make it work for my college degree final paper

Google Maps from within Flex.

I'm totally new to Flex and have jumped right in at the deep end...
I'm working on an app for gig lovers.
Basically you choose your favorite genres of music with check boxes, then put your postcode in and it will tell you the nearest gigs to you and give you details of each one.
On the right hand side of the app though I would like the app to access google maps somehow and give you a map to the gig.
Also, it will (probably) need to access google maps in order to assess which gigs are near you.
Could anyone give me any hints on how to do this?Or just tell me that it can't be done lol.

Embed Google maps from an iDevice

Using a desktop or laptop I am able to visit Google maps, hhit the settings button and copy the embed code into my website.
via an iDevice I do not have that option.
Am I being completely idiotic, or is there no way I can obtain the embed code from an iDevice?

Using Google Map from Java FX

We generally use GMAP2 object to display an Map in through java script .But we are not sure how we can integrate GMAP with java FX.
If anyone has done anything on it please let us know.
