Help! Is possible to recover the layers?

I need to get the layers of a psd file by mistake saved in psd
Is possible to recover the layers of a psd file that has been saved in pdf?
thanks!

You could try opening the pdf in Illustrator, and copy all the objects back into Photoshop, or use this method: http://wegraphics.net/blog/tutorials/illustrator-quick-tip-exporting-files-to-photoshop/
...but there is a good chance Photoshop flattened parts or most of the file while converting it to pdf, so be prepared for the loss of layered work.

No.  When you removed the photos via the finder you damage the library.  Photos should always be removed from the library using iPhoto, never with the Finder.
If you have a Time Machine backup of the library from before you deleted the photos you can restore the library to the Desktop and export that album from it to import into your current library.
It's been too long to be able to try one of the file recovery applications.  You sure to have overwritten those files with new files since them.

  • In GB, I need to insert an audio track. When I try, it obliterates part of the adjacent bridge (track). How can I insert an audio track in an audio timeline without stepping all over clean material? Is it possible to recover the "clean" track bridge?

Am doing an audio timeline in GB. Need to insert a corrected section of track. When I try the insert, it knocks out the top part of the adjacent track bridge/element. How can I insert cleanly in a timeline? Is it possible to "recover" the good track that was "stepped on?"

    Undo what?
    Insert in a new track?
I don't think so. I've started an audio book and I'm doing chapter long segments (assuming I can make simple corrections, such as ones made in iMovie and numerous other video editing programs. Routine edits in GB are simple and intuitive. I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that I'm prevented from doing a simple drag and drop, import or paste a two-sentence audio clip. Nor can I find any reference to straightforward audio elements.
Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated.

  • Any help appreciated: Can I recover the edited version of my word document?

    Hi everyone,
So sorry if I am asking a question that's been answered a million times before. I was working on a document for a few hours and it kept crashing (force quit) every once in a while after I copy pasted text. Luckily, everytime I clicked on the word icon the version I was working on was immediately recovered; all changes were saved.
The suddenly, after I had to force quit the program another time and clicked on the icon, none of the changes I made where there anymore. I've been looking through my computer but i just cannot find the version I worked on. Not in my trash..no temporary file or temporary folder. I did check the preferences in word and while "create backup copy" wasn't checked, auto recovery info was set to 10 minutes.
So, before I start editing my document from scratch and despite there being little to no hope, I wanted to make sure I ask whether there is anything I can do to recover the file I was working on?
Thanks so much for the help!

Not sure why it is Crashing but you had better get in the habit of saving every minute or 2. It's quite simple. Just hit the Command + s keys.

  • Is it possible to recover the photos that i've deleted under the facebook account in my iphoto?

i didnt realise that the facebook account under the iphoto is in sync with my facebook albums. in attempt to increase more free storage space, i deleted the photo albums from my facebook account under the iphoto, then i went on facebook and realise that the photo albums are all gone, is it possible to recover them?

Restore the iPhoto library from the most recent backup that predates the issue.

  • Lost old iphone, new iphone doesnt have any of the old photos. Is it possible to recover the old photos?

I had a iphone 5s with icloud on it. I dropped it in a river and was unable to find it. I then bought another iphone 5s a few days later, and I still have been unable to receive my old photos that were on my old iphone 5s. I had ios 7 on the old iphone, and I now have ios 8 on the new one. Hopefully I am able to get those photos back because I have photos from trips I took this summer. Is it possible to recover those photos and how?

You can recover the photos from an iTunes backup on your computer, from an iCloud backup, or from Photo Stream. You can also sync them to dropbox, box.com, Google Drive, Google Picasa, Shutterfly and several other photo sharing services. If you synced your photos to a photo app on your computer they will also be there. If you used none of the 4 ways Apple gives you to preserve photos and none of the dozen or more 3rd party solutions then they are lost forever.

  • I created an Imovie on Ipad. Before exporting the Imovie, I deleted the video clips from camera roll. Error message "this proj. contains clips which have been deleted from your photo library." Help!  Can I recover the "preview" file of my video in Imovie?

Is there an app out there to find the files within Imovie app on my Ipad where the Imovie "preview" is playing from?
I deleted the original vidoe clips from my Camera Roll before exporting the Imovie to Youtube because my camera roll was out of memory.
I'm using the latest Imovie app for Ipad.

  • Is it possible to recover the contents of a "Sent Mail" folder that was accidentally deleted?  We have complete Time Capsule backups.

We lost the contents of a "Sent Mail" folder when our ISP asked us to delete and re-create the account in an attempt to solve a connection problem.
Is there any way to re-create these messages from stuff in the Library or from a Time Capsule backup?
    Thank you.

    Yes.
Open the Sent folder in Mail.
Go to the menu bar and ask to Enter Time Machine.
Go back in time until you find the messages you want.
    Restore them.
Of course I am assuming your backup disk is connected, or you have adequate local snapshots.

  • Restored iPhone to fix a ringer failure, but lost all my texts and pictures in the process. Then, my backup failed to mount. Is there any possibility of recovering them?

So my iPhone 4S stopped ringing, and I was missing all of my calls. The speaker works, it's not on silent, and I'd exhausted most every other option (messing around with accessibility options and various soft resets), to no avail.
So I reset it to factory settings, logged in with my Apple ID, and lo and behold, my backup failed to take. All my apps got restored, but my texts and all of my pictures are missing.
So here's what I want to find out.
    1. Does the reset procedure involve writing over all old information with 0s?
    2. If not, is it possible to recover the data, in full or in part, through some alternative methods?
The phone is out of warranty, so I'm willing to try whatever it may take to get this data back.
    Thanks in advance.

Apps have never been included in the backup, so is there actually a backup?
Have you failed to use the device as designed, meaning syncing contacts to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service?
There are some 3rd party programs that claim to be able to extract data (like sms) from a backup, try a google search.
Unless you're willing to spend and extremely large amount of money, there is no way to recover the data that may still exist on the iPhone.

  • Possible to recover data from dead HD?

in July of this year, my HD stopped working for whatever reason. i got the folder icon when i started my Mac mini that day and did lots of troubleshooting with no luck. i ended up putting a new one in and all is fine now. EXCEPT all my pics and whatnot is on my old HD. the nearest apple store is 3hrs away and dont plan on making a trip any time soon. is there any way possible to recover the data? what are the possibilities of getting the data over since the old HD stopped working? it didnt spin, it was dead quiet. ive seen alot of those HD to USB data recovery connections to transfer info but dont know if it will work? thanks for the help!!

If it is completely dead in that it is not making any noise indicating it is not spinning etc. then you cannot use any software to try and recover data, these software programs generally only help if the hard disk is physically ok but the data is damaged.
In your case it would appear to be a hardware problem and the only option would be to send it to a specialist data recovery firm. If you went to Apple they would only be able to replace it with a new one (if under warranty) and would not do any data recovery.
The specialist recovery firms would completely dismantle the hard disk and replace faulty parts to enable them to get it working and to copy the data off. Your profile does not indicate your location, but an example firm (I have no personal experience of them) is Datatrak Labs see http://www.datatrack-labs.co.uk/company_profile.asp
By the way, why have you not been making backups? Time Machine makes this so easy it is no longer excusable to not do this. I had a hard disk fail in one of my Macs earlier this year (hardware failure), but because I had a full Time Machine backup I lost nothing.
