HELP - iTunes has changed from English to Chinese

My iTunes was set up in English, but today I got a new phone (iPhone 5s - not sure if this is part of the problem) but when I started my iTunes, it was in a different language - maybe Russia. I closed it, and when I opened it again, it was in Chinese. I'm not sure how to change this back to English as I can't understand the Chinese symbols. How do I fix it? Thanks

If iTunes is in anther language, first check the language settings of Mac OS X. If you go to System Preferences and go to Language & Text to make sure that English is at the top. If all is good there and it looks more like content from the iTunes Store, then check to make sure that you are signed into the correct store region. Virtual DJ at present seeing an older version of my libraries. Is it possible to Save my last library and Playlist and re-name everything else in my itunes account so it will again show "Itunes Music Library" Past libraries are of no consiquence . I'm hoping removing everything except the last Library on my computers will make Virtual DJ recognize it. I tried renameing the Library to "Itunes Music Library" but it did not work. I fear the problem is in the Registry and without the correct path I am reluctand to play around in there. Any help would be appreciated.

Incidentally, my first thought was to map a network share from the NAS to my computer, so that my music files appear on the Z: drive, say on my computer. I could then set up iTunes to store music etc in that folder, and to copy all new items to that folder. However, if I do that, all that'll happen is that on my NAS, the library file will become out of date as I add music to the collection but not to the index.

my itunes has changed to french and i cant read french so dont know how to change it back to "English UK" and the same with my account which has a tiny ammount of euros left on it from when i was in France which can be removed from my account as i dont want it and cant spend it!!!!!!!

Google Maps: Changed from English to Chinese with OS5

Here is the issue:
I bought an IPHONE4 in Hong Kong few month ago and I used it in CHINA with a chinese SIM card by China Mobile.
The Google Maps works fine and they are in ENGLISH and Chinese.
I have updated to OS5 few days ago and there you go...Google MAPS are now completely in CHINESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend had the same problem when he updaed his IPHONE3Gs to OS5 (IPHONE bought in ITALY with ITALIAN SIM Card).
I mean what the ****?!
My first IPHONE4 was bought in CHINA last year and at that time I had no idea that MAPS and all application linked to Google Map were in CHINESE! Even when I traveled abroad the MAPS were still in CHINESE (JAPAN and KOREA for example).
So I sold it and I bought and IPHONE in HK and MAPs were working as expected...in ENGLISH!
Is anyone out there able to provide a solution?
PS: I have not yet tried to restore my PHONE to the original settings. Maybe this is the solution?! Let's see!

i also have posted another problem with the MAP.
I don't have the language issue but after i've update to OS 5, my map is not able to navigate such that it is not able to route to any location. However, it is able to locate my current location. I was able to nagviate with the older version OS than OS5.
Do you have this problem?
Also, the keyboard for Chinese has some changes. The PinYin boxes seems bigger.
I suspect bugs in OS5.

I try to play a song, but iTunes has changed the information on the file

After installing iCloud, my iTunes suddenly started changing the information on my music files. I would go to play one song, but another song would play instead. I have a PC. Does anyone have any idea what the cause and solution might be?

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

I found a fix for it, It turned out that the file that lists all of the songs on it got corrupt. I had to use 3rd party programs but it did work out in the end

The following may help you understand about deleting photos from a library:
Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library:
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

You can probably fix it by running chkdsk, as explained in this other thread. It makes sense, if you didn't remove itunes yourself and it can't be reinstalled/repaired, something went seriously wrong on the PC's hard drive. Perhaps the chkdsk utility can fix it.

moving to the trash the com.apple.safari.plist preference file will reset Safari's preferences to the default values after you restart Safari. You can locate this file by going to the Finder - HD/Users/User Account/Library/Preferences folder.
Once Safari restarts, you can select your custom preferences, as well as add any address bar icons available i the View Menu>Customize Address Bar. Trashing the preference file ought to take care of your tab dilemma.

Find my iphone - picture has changed from a black ipod to a white one

My son's black ipod touch has gone missing, and we've tracked it using Find My Iphone to a house 15 miles away.
Strangely, the picture of the ipod has changed from a black ipod touch to a white one.
Is there something that the person who has "found" the ipod can do to affect this, or is it possible that the tracking has gone awry?
Any help would be appreciated.

I noticed the same thing on mine. The Apple Store Genius informed me that after the white iPod touch came out, they began using that as the stock photo. If you asked Apple to check their records for devices registered to you, it would show up as the proper color - black.

I'm trying to sign up for the photography creative cloud with lightroom 5 and photoshop. When I click on the "buy" button is takes me to the payment page, but my country changes from the U.S. to Argentina and the language changes also.
I've tried contacting Adobe, but they're ways of contacting them are a pain in the ***. The chat doesn't work and I'm on hold forever when I call.

When I click on Images the language changes from English!

I search using Google. I then click the Images icon/tab (top left).
Images are displayed however the language changes from English to (what looks like) German. Most bizarre. Any clues as to why this would occur?

Try to clear the Google cookies.
Does it help if you set the language to English via the gear icon > Settings?
