Help! ive tried everything
When i was updating my ipod it said that my memory was full and put all of my songs in a playlist for some reason saying that would save space. Well it deleted all my other playlists... so i was trying to get my ipod back to normal and it deleting the playlist with all my songs, but i still have my entire library. So when i went to update it, my entire ipod was cleared and now when i connect it to my computer to put the song back on it says that it cannot update without that playlist.. i need some serious help!

My Ipod is frozen!!! Its a 4th generation and its frozen on an app, Ive tried everything like holding down the lock screen and stuff and its not showing the red thing to slid to shut it down....This is my only thing to use to contact my friends and its not working, i dont have a phone and i cant get one, so this is the onlything i have.....PLEASE HELP!!!

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.

iPhone or iPod touch displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive
If you see the image below, charge the iPhone or iPod touch with USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.
You should see this image when iPhone or iPod touch begins to charge:
If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning the iPhone or iPod touch off and then on again.
If the issue persists, follow these troubleshooting steps.

My ipod says theres headphones in but there isnt ive tried everything but nothing works help!!!
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

Did you try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go? Did you try to restore as new in iTunes on your computer?

Here's an answer from the net:
Go to Settings/Mail,contacts,calendars/Add account choose other, choose Add Mail Account. Fill in name, email address, password and description on the screen that comes up. Save those.
One the next screen tat comes up click om POP in the first line then fil in the host name as
spop.west.cox.net or spop.east.cox.net or the one to go with your region.
Note that is not a misprint, that is spop (secure pop)
Fill in your username one more time (the password should have carried over from previously)
Fill in your outgoing mail server like smtp.west.cox.net (change for your region) and click Save.
When all the settings are verified a checkmark will appear next to them all and you are good to go.
If it says something like "can't connect via SSL would you like to ..." then you probably missed the step about selecting POP on the second screen and are trying IMAP so go back and try over with POP. Or perhaps mistyped soemthing.
Once everything is working you can go back into the settings and see that it has automatically connected on port 995 and that SSL is on
Note that you probably won't be able to send email from a wifi in a cafe or similar as cox won't let you connect to their smtp from outside their network.
I haven't tried receiving mail from a non cox connected wifi yet but I suspect it will work just fine. Anyway these settings work for me using my ipod to my home wifi router connected to cox.
I could not find a definitive guide when I searched so I hope this helps other folks trying to configure this.

Ive tried everything NO SLEEP FOR IMAC
Ok so I think ive tried everything to get my imac to sleep by itself according to the energy saver preferences but its just not having it. Unplugged every USB device, uninstalled HP printer drivers, reset the smc or whatever that thing is called but still to no avail. If theres a third party download to put it to sleep please send it my way....anything, i find this very obnoxious because other members of my family take it upon themselves to use my computer and then its awake for hours for no reason ahh please help
