Help[: Laserjet 1300: Printing blank pages (new cartridge & drivers installed)

Hi All, printer keeps printing blank pages, just bought a new cartridge and even re-installed the drivers- can anyone perhaps advise as to a way to resolve as I am urgently needing to print?

Forgot to mention that I am not getting an error message either, except when I go through the motions of scanning the (blank) alignment page. That error is related to the fact that it is blank though.

I purchased new cartridge yesterday and am still experiencing the same problem. Last night I re-installed the drivers and the printer is still shooting out blank pages. Is there anyway to resolve this problem myself? -

I too use HP LaserJet 4MP and AssanteTalk Bridge connected to computer via ethernet crossover cable and link from Assante to both my LJ4MP and HPDeskJet855cse, using BelKin QuikNet adapters in a string using RJ11 jumper cables.
My HP driver software is HP8.1.1.
I Never use "BackGround Printing".
I Never use "DeskTop Print Monitor".
The only time I can remember multiple blank copies is when I used to use "Print Monitor and BackGround Printing".
Clear your preferences and get rid of Print Monitor and Don't use BackGround Printing.

HP 3510 All In One only printing blank pages after cartridge replacement

Recently replaced my blank ink cartridge after supply level showed low, and printed output looked faded.
Using genuine HP product - check
Cartridge supply level good - check
Powered on and off twice - check
Installed, removed, re-installed cartidges - check
Good paper - check
Alignment prints blank page - does not print partial or low quality, just produces a blank page.
Printing from my computer, a word document, also produces a blank page - not parital - blank.
Was printing before the HP cartridge change.
Did I buy a bad HP cartridge?
Any help would be appreciated.

HP LaserJet 4MP Printing Blank Pages

Hi there,
This is perhaps OT, but a recent issue with my HP LJ 4MP is causing me great anguish and heartache.
Suddenly, for no apparent reason, my HP is producing blank pages. It just runs and runs spewing out blank pages.
I've tried all the IO resets and a cold reset. Unplugging and leaving idle. Unplugged the Asante bridge between the serial and the CAT 5.
After a while I can get it to stop printing blank pages, it works fine for a while, then the interminable blank pages start again.
Has anyone seen such an issue? Any known resolution?

Hey, I have two hp laserjet p1505 printer in one printer has a problem that it cant print any thing. all outputs are blank. i replace the toner cartridge. and its cartridge work fine in other hp laser jet printer p1505. kindly solve my problem. thanks with regards.

Right click the printer in System Prefences - Print & Scan and use Reset Printing System... and then reinstall the printer, should take less than 5 minutes. Here is a photo showing how to Reset Printing System....

LaserJet 1020 prints blank pages

My LaserJet 1020 printer prints nothing but blank pages no matter what kind of print job I give it. The HP Print and Scan Doctor found nothing wrong, but when I printed a test page at the end of the Print and Scan Doctor's testing, the output paper was also blank. I installed a new cartridge because I thought the old one was out of ink, but the problem reoccurred very soon.

I see that you are having issues with the pages coming out blank. You have already replaced the toner and you still have the same results. I would like to help.
Most likely it is a hardware issue with the printer or the software, since you replaced the toner and are having the same issue.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation. Make sure the USB cable is connected directly to the computer.
Unfortunately there is no hardware self test for this model. Usually to find out if it is a hardware or software issue, you can print the hardware self test to determine this.
Try and print a test page from the printer driver.
Did it print?
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the software, just to rule that out.
Uninstalling the Printer Software.
HP LaserJet 1020 Printer Drivers.
Test the printer again.
Are you using Genuine HP Toner?
Is the Ready light on the printer?
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.

LaserJet P2035 prints blank pages.

It started with printing out duplicate lines that overlapped. Now all it does is print out blank pages. After each page prints out the light blinks next to the triangle symbol. And then I have to power off and power back on to clear it. I have installed the newest driver, upgraded the firmware on the printer, installed a new toner, and replaced the USB cable. Any suggestions on what to look for? I have about five of these printers and the rest are fine (so far).

6500A prints blank pages despite new cart's (MAC)

Officejet 6500A plus goes thru the motions but prints blank pages. Cartridges are new. This is wirelessly linked to a MAC

It sounds like an issue with the black/yellow print head.
I would recommend following this document to troubleshoot the issue:
Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues
It is a very long and detailed document. I would follow it exactly to best try and resolve your issue.

Printing blank pages - even with new genuine HP cartridges

All of a sudden, my 6700 has started printing blank pages, even the copier runs blanks - after replacing cartridges with new HP cartridges.
I ran all the diagnostics, printer says its fine, printhead was cleaned, and still printing blanks.
Printer's out of warranty, what should I do? I just bought a ton of cartridges for this....!

NEW Officejet 4620 prints blank pages!

We got a replacement for a not very old HP Officejet, a new right out of the box, Officejet 4620. It is networked with a Mac desktop and an older Macbook. I installed it yesterday using the ink cartridges it came with, got it networked with both computers, and it worked GREAT -- yesterday. Today it is only printing blank pages from the desktop! Argh! What's going on?

Laserjet 4M Plus (C2039A) prints blank pages after cleaning?

I have a Laserjet 4M Plus (C2039A) that was working well. I was getting toner streaks so I disassembled the covers and cleaned dust and toner out. Cleaned plastic and plates with soapy sponge, cleaned rollers with alcohol, brushed and used air to clean dust. I'm good with mechanical projects. After re-assembling, I print blank pages. The menus, display, and computer interface seem fine. Paper feeds correctly. Self Test displays no errors, but I am unable to read printed test results or settings. I went into Service Mode, and ran Self Test there. I'm ready to disassemble it again, but do not know where to look for improper fit. What would prevent any characters from being printed? I'm using Windows XP drivers, and parallel port cable.

My brand new HP x451dw only prints blank pages

My brand new HP x451dw only prints blank pages. I have never seen a drop of ink on a page since I have had and set up this printer, even during the set-up process.
All indications suggest that I have configured the printer correctly. I have communication from a variety of computers, ipads, etc. and all will get the correct number of pages to come out of the printer, all pages are blank. Likewise with the printer test page.
There has never been a drop of ink on any page since I took this out of the box.
I do not get any error messages. The printer thinks the ink cartridges are full - they are genuine, and they are full.
Any ideas anyone?

If this just happens from these two programs, it's most likely a driver conflict. If typically using an alternate driver will alow you to get around this. To try this, add the printer's que to the Mac. Click the dropdown next to Use and choose a driver that's not for your printer. Typically the best one to try is another Photosmart dirver, but Deskjet drivers will work as well. I would make the instructions a bit more clear, but I don't have access to a 10.6 Mac. Let me know if this works or not.

HP LaserJet Pro CM141 prints blank pages and jams on nothing

My HP LaserJet Pro CM141 is printing mostly blank pages. Some pages come out with thick, verticle lines of smudged gray but other than that, it's totally blank. It does this for printing or copying and wireless or connected via USB. It started doing this after a wierd occurance where it would not stop printing the same print job over and over. After restarting it several times, I finally got it to stop printing the same print job but now, as I said above, it just prints blank pages. It also frequently claims to have a paper jam when it hasn't even attempted to take up a sheet of paper. The scanner still works, it's about 4 years old. The black cartiridge supply is at 90% although the colors are admittedly at 0% (but the lack of color never caused a problem before, I just print everything in black and white.) Since you have only one toner cartridge with toner it is possible that toner cartridge has an issue. I would try at least another known good black toner cartridge.

HP Color LaserJet CP3525n keeps printing blank pages without stopping

Hi, I'm having trouble with this printer, it keeps printing blank pages one after anotther as soon as it is turned on. Some pages are completely blank others have smiley faces and other characters on it. And it keeps doing this even after it has been restarted. Any idea how to fix this problem?

1. take out all of the ink cartriges and look at the big black roller on the door for streaking, if streaking, clean with a lint free cloth dampened with windex (window cleaner) then close the door.
2. let it run to initializing.
3. open the door and look and the black roller on the door to see if you have streaking. If no streaking put one cartridge in and close the door and repeat the steps until you find what cartridge is causing the problem.
I did this and found that my cyan was creating the lines on my paper. I cleaned the cyan roller with a Qtip and some rubbing alcohol and it works fine now, no more lines on the paper.
