Help!! Logged unto Itunes once and never again. What am I doing wrong?

I have tried everything I can think of. No firewall, checked cookies, anything else you can help me with?

Double click on the home button to bring up the Multitaksing list.
Then slide the App screen shot up and off the screen.
There will be no no confirmation, it will simply close.

You must initiallly activate iCloud from an IOS device or a Mac. You cannot inititally activated from a PC.

download the FP uninstaller from http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
close all browser windows, then run the uninstaller
download the offline ActivX installer for Internet Explorer from http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
close all browser windows, then run the installer

If Lion isn't showing in the About this Mac window, then you need to install it. All the Mac Apple Store does is put the installer into /Applications. You need to run it, but before you do, make a copy and put it somewhere else, since the stupid installer deletes itself during the installation process, forcing another obnoxious and lengthy download if you ever need to reinstall it.

Create a test file with Text Edit (or any other program) and save it to your desktop.
Run Time Machine from the menu bar.
When the Time Machine icon in the menu bar stops spinning, drag your test file to the trash.

Apparantly it is, On My Mac contacts don't appear in iCloud, anywhere.
Put all your contacts on all of your devices in iCloud (assuming that's where you want them to be)
Go to www.icloud.com, login and see what you actually have in the account.

You are going to have to provide more information than this. Are you trying to MMS or email? Why do you say you cannot send it, are you getting an error of some type, and if so what is it?

Keywords, Lightroom and Bridge. What am I doing wrong?

Whenever I save a keyword to an xmp sidecar file or to a dng file in Lightroom 5.2, and then search for that keyword in Bridge CC, the file associated with that keyword will not show up. However, if I navigate to that destination folder of that file, the keywords will be listed., and from that point on, when I search for that keyword again, the file will show up. In Lightroom I am saving the metadata to the file. What am I doing wrong?

Not much. If you want to search for a keyword in Bridge you best use the Find command itself. Be sure to set the correct fields and also check both the options for include subfolders and non indexed files. The latter is pretty important.
As you already discovered after viewing the file in Bridge the keyword was found, thanks to the fact Bridge had cached and indexed the file during your first selection. Files that never have been cached are also not indexed (Bridge reads the content of the metadata and saves it to its database) Only after having the data in its own database it is able to search for the files.

HELP !!! desperate to find out what i am doing WRONG

I have been using A Prem cs4 and set up Encore to make dvd.
I have made 20 timelines within Encore. Is this OTT?
I am sucking the memory out of my computer and so I can't get audio on some items with project.
I have 2 hard drives to store footage and projects but the main computer is jammed I am 804 kb.
I am desperate to finish this project.
It is a school concert with 18 items.
I have 6 submenus
1 main menu.
what am i doing so wrong???
How can i get my memory back.PLEASE put me back on track.

I guess i should explain the whole problem...
but you see ...
It was going well,... ran low on memory...
I cleaned and removed the rendering files,(i had been rendering all through A Pro..)
made dvd...great... a 3 second bit of footage not in place, so fixed it in A Pro... I think I reverted to original and it fixed/updated..
memory LOW again...
transfered cache to external harddrive..
back to square one with no memory..
And Encore has sound on 3/4 of my items/timelines, but not on others..
When I made disc earlier today it took 4 hours to create. (do you know where these files are??? Maybe I can delete them, to start fresh.
Should it take that long for an hour and a half dvd??
Once it is burn and some have no sound, i have to start again...
Back to square 1..
no space to work the project...
where are temp files stored for Encore???
now because i can't find any files to move over to external drive the memory is being sucked up.
Is it virtual memory?
Is it Encore memory?
is it Adobe Prem memory( hiding somewhere)
Automatic saves are directed to external hard drive???

Splash screen show only once and never again

I have the followign line in jnlp file:

The images are in the root directory of the app.
When download link is clicked on the web page, I saw the splash screen come up only once. It never shows again. Application downloads and creates an icon on desktop. The desktop icon was not showing up but started showing, I don't know how. But the splash screen never shows. Any ideas?

I would suggest you check the entire launch in JaNeLA. If fixing whatever errors it reports does not fix the problem, post your JNLP file(s) here (complete, not snippets).

Have you check for updates in iTunes (10.6.3)
if not go to HELP in iTunes and hit check for updates.

I have used lightroom for years on my PC and just installed it on my new iMac. I cannot import NEF files from iPhoto or from my Lacie hard drive into Lightroom. I have tried Lightroom Help but still cannot import NEF files. What am I doing wrong?

If they are the same nef files that you were importing into your PC, see if the reason is an error message like the thread above this one. Permissions issue.

When I right click on an image in an email message, select "save image as..." , then try and open it, its not a pic, but letters, numbers and punctuation marks. what am i doing wrong?

I save it to a folder and try to open it up like i did before. I never had this problem with Internet Explorer. Please help.

If you right-click the image and choose View Image Info, what shows as "Type"?
If it shows JPEG image, for example, make sure to save the file with a .jpg file extension. If you place quotation marks around the entire file name, e.g.,
"myfile.jpg"
then you can ensure that the name as the correct extension. Does that help?
