Help... lost ipad photos

Any help would be appreciated as I'm pretty ****ing steamed right now...
Took hundreds of photos/videos on my ipad while on vacation. Just got home couple days ago and noticed that all of them are mysteriously gone now.
I don't recall doing anything with my ipad since I got home other than syncing some music from itunes. I did not sync the photos on to my PC. Didn't do anything idiotic like hitting the 'delete all' button either.
Can someone please help me troubleshoot. Don't know why the **** this happened, this is a ****ing joke.
My last restore point was from before my vacation, so I don't think that's an option.
iPad mini iOS 6.1.3, iTunes 11.04, Windows 8, if it helps.

Everything (apps, music, contacts) is still there. Don't know what box I could have accidentally checked on the sync.
A detail that may not be irrelevant is that some of my apps now have the "New" tag attached to them when I know I definitely have used them before. Did my itunes somehow sync OVER my ipad files and in the process wipe out my photos?

  • Syncing and lost iPad photos, apps and email. Help please

Just tried to update my mums ipad2 with iOS5. Connected her ipad to my computer. Went into itunes and entered her apple id and password and then selected to upgrade to iOS5. When i went back to her ipad everything had been lost. The iPad is now coming up under my name when conneting. How do I retrieve her information.  And change it back to say its hers. Any help appreciated???

I never heard of this before.  But when you installed was it on her computer or yours.  You should keep the device connected to just one computer as a general rule.  It thats not the problem then I don't know.  You might be able to simply go to her library on the computer of and drag and drop the apps music and everything else back into her ipad.  If that doesnt help I recommend trying to scedual an apple genuis bar appointmemt.

  • Lost iPad photos, while downloading to iPhoto.

Hello Apple Community! I have a delicate situation for itunes, iphoto and ipad savies to help.
I downloaded some very dear and important photos (out of many more) from my iPad mini into my MacBook Pro, using iPhoto. When I finished and unplugged (I was careful to eject the device) all my videos and photos were missing on my iPad mini. All of them even the ones that I did not touch. Nevertheless something curious occured: if I use iTunes to browse the iPad mini, even when I do not have any sign of the photos or videos on iTunes, in the data bar down the window or dialog box the entire photos and videos and all other stuff appears as colored bars as if nothing had happened.
The iPad mini works with IOS7 and the MacBookPro with Mavericks 10.9
I am a new iTunes user and I am not used to certain features. next to the color data bar there are two buttons "revert" and "apply". What do they do? (I do not want to screw up)
So can enyone help me recover all my photos and videos please???

No, the photos do not appear on the Mac or on the iPad while browsing them through iPhoto.
But curiously, if I open iTunes, when looking at the data bar at de bottom of the dialog it says the whole Photos are there. The bar indicates the presence of the whole 8202 photos in an orange color bar. So why iTunes display such information but iPhoto do not recognize it?
I downloaded some photos first, like 1000 and I wanted to download the rest later. Then I disconnected the device being careful to eject it properly. The computer asked through a dialog if I wanted to erase the photos I just downleaded, and I clicked yes because the whole operaton was indeed to make space to take more photos because the memory was almost full. Yesterday, half an hour from the downloading I realized the whole rest of the pictures were missing. Some videos and just one photograph remain and it seems I lost all reamining photos on the iPad.
iPhoto displays a message "All photos have allready been imported". What do you think is happening?

  • HT4906 Need help getting iPad photos onto iMac

I'm trying to get my photo stream from my iPad to upload automatically via iCloud onto my Mac desktop.  I'm getting the message that all updates are complete, but the desktop still won't let me check the box to update photos via iCloud.  What to do?

Are you referring to this checkbox:
If that box is checked and it's not imorting into iPhoto disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

  • I wanted to syncing my itunes to my ipad 2 (ios 4.3.3) and update to ios 5. but i did not have back up. So i lost all photos   other files. Pls help...Txs

    Hello,
I wanted to syncing itunes to my ipad2 in order to upgrade ios from 4.3.3 to 5 but lost all photos + all other files...
    txs for your help:)

Scroll down and see the "Update Your Device Using iTunes" section here:
    HT4623
There is no "update icon" in iOS versions earlier than iOS 5.
The update is very large (over 1.2 gigabytes).  You need a good internet connection to download it to your computer.  Maybe you'll need to take a trip to a city to get a good enough connection.

  • I have lost my photos/videos when i imported from my ipad 2 to my new imac latest version and it's not reading the files.  I have downloaded iMac library manager and can see them. can someone shed some light please ?

i have lost my photos/videos when i imported from my ipad 2 to my new imac latest version OS X 10.8.4
and it's not reading the files.  I have downloaded iMac library manager and can see them.  when i go back into iphoto i'm getting the following message :
Do you want to switch the current iPhoto Library from “iPhoto Library.photolibrary” to “iPhoto Library.photolibrary” and relaunch iPhoto?
I don't know what to do - please help !!!!
can someone shed some light please ?

So it appears you have only one library on the hard drive. Apply the two fixes below in order as needed to that library:
    Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

You can't view your back up files at icloud.com.
You can't view your camera roll and you can't view your Photo Stream files at icloud.com.
The icloud back up plan allows you to "restore" your iOS device from the files you backed up at icloud.com.

  • I have lost my photo albums on my iPad Although the photos are still there. How do I get the albums back?, I have lost my photo albums on my iPad Although the photos are still there. How do I get the albums back?

I have lost my photo albums on my iPad Although the photos are still there. How do I get the albums back?, I have lost my photo albums on my iPad Although the photos are still there. How do I get the albums back?

It's version iPhoto '11. I sent the photos to the trash from in the resident iPhoto application, but not to the iPhoto trash, but the OS's trash in the bottom right task bar (Finder Trash).
Realizing what I had done, I dragged the picture folder back into the "Pictures" folder under my name in the Finder. I also dragged the iPhoto Library file back, but it said a new one had been created... I still attempted to replace the new with old iPhoto Library file.
The pictures are back and i can see the album names under events. The problem is that the album covers, nor the pictures themselves show up as thumbnails like they did before... they only show when you individually click on the photo to bring it into full view. I only see a grey background where the thumbnail was.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Evan

  • HELP! Why do my iPad Photos Scramble each time I Sync?

HELP! Each time I sync my iPad photos, my previous albums' organization scrambles (the order I've arranged my photo albums scrambles).
THIS IS WHAT I DO: On my iPad, I tap the PHOTOS app, then tap ALBUMS to see each of the albums I've created. I then tap EDIT in the upper right hand corner. I then painstakingly try to place all my many albums in the order that I'd like them to remain on my iPad. Then I tap DONE in the upper right hand corner.
However, EVERY TIME I sync my iPad, this order completely scrambles back to what I can only decifer is the time-line (order by calendar date) in which I created the albums. Aargh! So frustrating!
I am a Fine Artist (camille-engel.com)... I use my iPad primarily for work. I'd like my ART photos remain at the top for easy, quick access... and I'd like my 'family" & 'personal' photos to be at the bottom. This should be how the iPad photos app should function. Am I doing something wrong?
I look forward to your replies and excitedly await a SOLUTION to this frustrating problem. Thanks!

Oh... and just so you know I work from a MAC OS X, version 10.5.8 computer, syncing to my iPad.

  • Can anyone help with uploading photos from iPad to Facebook.  Thanks

Can anyone help with uploading photos fom iPad to Facebook?  Thanks

What app are you to trying to use ? You can't upload photos to Facebook via Safari, but a number of the Facebook apps support it e.g. the 'official' app : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8 (thought it's optimised for the iPhone/iPod Touch it does support uploading photos), Friendly For Facebook (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/friendly-for-facebook/id400169658?mt=8)
