I have problems with the Help Mac menu. When I clik or tape a topic nothing is written. i have a white page. what's happened ? Is it erased ?

I need advise and help with this problem .
First , I have been with Mac for many years ( 14 to be exact ) I do have some knowledge and understanding of Apple product .
At the present time I'm having lots of problems with the router so I was looking in to some info , and come across one web site regarding : port forwarding , IP addresses .

With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer
Any help is welcome , English is my learned language , you may notice this , so I'm not that quick with the respondGenieo definitely doesn't help with your router. It's just adware, and has no benefit to you at all. They scammed you so that they could display their ads on your computer.

how do I copy files onto a hard drive (device) from Mac 2 7 pc. I'm able to transfer files from device but cannot transfer files to device. Anyone had same problem or can help solve this problem? Help pls
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
When you try to copy data to the external drive, what happens? If you don't see any error, the external drive is formatted in NTFS, and OS X can't write in it.
To be able to write on this external drive, you have to use an app like Paragon NTFS. Another solution would be to format the external drive in FAT32 or exFAT with Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html Make sure you copied all the files of the external disk to the internal disk before doing it -
I'm new to Mac and I have a Mac Mini. Could you please tell me how I could paste an URL to a video downloader like "Coolmuster Video Downloader for Mac"? I can copy the url but I could not paste it on the downloader. I appreciate your help to my problem.

Yes that is correct.
Will I need to get a mac external hard drive if I wish to continue to save my documents like this?
If you no longer use a PC you could format this drive for the Mac. However be aware that formatting a drive will erase all the data on it. So you would need someplace to copy the data off this drive to while you did the re-format and then you could copy the data back.
You could get another drive, format it for the Mac and copy the data to it. Then re-format the original drive and use it as a backup drive. Always good to have backups.
Post back with the drive type and size of the current drive, if you are doing backups now and how and if you still need to access this drive from a PC.

My itunes radio rebuffers every 8 seconds - is there any fix or help for this problem. I am running the latest itunes on a new Mac with 4MB download speed.
You need to update your Mac OS to at least 10.5.8.

Help Mac Help - "Discovering Your Mac" constantly reloads (flashing...)
The problem:
constant automatic repeated reload of help page
Navigating the Menu to Help > Help Mac gives the "Mac Help" page as expected.
On this page is a link "Work smart, play hard." headed "Discovering Your Mac".
Clicking this link the "Discovering Your Mac" help page appears but is in a state of constant automatic repeated reload (as if the menu View > Reload were being constantly selected).
This iBook G4 12" (MacOS X 10.4.4) is straight out of the Box purchased this week from Computerwarehouse.com.
Main Question:
Is this normal out of the box behaviour that just has to be patched or is this a fault that should prompt me to send back the iBook.
Background:
I bought a Mac for home use because I'm fed up with spending more time configuring Wintel PCs than using them.
Surely a Mac should not do this out of the box - or am I being hopelessly naive.
Comuterwarehouse’s solution:
Purchased from Computerwarehouse (thank god I didn’t buy from PC World).
Removed the cache folder “com.apple.helpui”. This didn’t work. There next suggestion is to update to 10.4.6. I am waiting to do this (they will post me CD since I’m on dialup at home and strict download restrictions at work). After this the suggestion is a complete reinstall.

Have since updated to 10.4.6 using the combo update and the behaviour remains.

Looked at the troubleshooting HelpViewer link.
Been through as many options as seem related.
The iPhotoPhotocast.plugin is installed. Removing this and the cache files then restarting has no effect.
Have verified the disk.
But the MacHelp page does work when connected to the internet.
MacHelp.help does link to the internet so perhaps updates itself. Do help files update them selves, or is the extra content just held in a cache file somewhere?
What is the latest version of MacHelp.help?

It looks like this gets modified - last modified today 00:24.
How can i reload just this help file.

Does help viewer get updated when you do an update? e.g. from 10.4.4 to 10.4.6.
Just noticed 10.4.7 now available - another 65MB download on dial up and Apple refuse to send it on a CD to me.
Would be intereseted in any answers on the help file version and how I get it.

Plz help...problem w/ verify/repair permissions after software update
Hi,
I just ran the software update from the Mac menu and wanted to verify/repair permissions afterwards. First I used Onyx and when it was executing, the system would not respond after a couple of minutes. So then I tried Disk Utility and I get a message saying "Disk Utility internal error: Disk Utility has losts its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility." And I did, and the same message appears.
What else can I do?

PowerBook G4 15 Mac OS X (10.3.6)Have just done software download - gone to repair permissions and have got same message. Running on 10.3.9. Anyone any ideas as to what is going on here. Did NOT run repair permissions before the update (Yes I know I should have done). Could this be a factor. There are a number of other threads on this forum concerning this exact problem - but so far have found no explanation or solutions.
Disk varified and reported OK. Mac seems to be operating OK. How does Disk utility "link" to Disk Management Tool?

Can't access top of photoshop window under mac menu bar
The top of my Photoshop window has slipped under the Mac menu bar-and I can't acces it. I've tried re launching PS, it opens in the same position. I've tried the tapping the F key- does not solve it. I've tried different work spaces- still the same. I've tried using mission control- it lets me see the top bar in the photoshop window, then when I choose it, it's still the same.
Is there any way to hide the mac menu bar when I have PS open so I could grab the title bar and bring it down?
HELP- ThanksI tried everything suggested here and on other sites and nothing* would work for me. I luckily have other monitors plugged into my laptop and when I unplugged one, the top of the Photoshop title bar showed up on another monitor.
* I tried changing my resolution to a larger resolution and when that didn't reveal it, I changed the orientation of my one of my attached monitor. I could see the top of the title bar then on another monitor, but since I couldn't control my mouse easily and get it back to my main monitor/laptop where the system preferences box was, it timed out on me and I wasn't able to grab the title bar of Photoshop. I only mentioned all that because if someone is not working on multiple screens and the resolution trick doesn't work for them, maybe try changing the orientation...but that was only an option for my attached monitor. So maybe none of this is a helpful tip. Sorry! -

thanks 4 help.I tried in Firefox 3 and IE7 and they both seemed fairly slow
for any action to take place. But IE7 did seem pretty slugish.
It seems that you're already determined what the issue is,
you have waaaaaay too many menu items. Seems to me that that number
of items don't belong in a menu. There are even menus that are too
long to appear entirely on the page, so they can't be easily
accessed without accidentally hiding the menus again, which I did
several times. IN particular:
Cartuchos > Technologica
If you cannot change to a different format to show all of the
items, then perhaps you can split up the menu so that you don't
have too many at one time. I checked the code of your page and it
seems that you've got a lot of other scripting going on there
besides Spry, so is the issue with Spry or with everything else
you're trying to do with that menu. If you can try to recreate the
page with only the menu items on it (and not pulled in dynamically
on the fly), and then add back to your page a bit a time, you might
be able to find out what is really causing the delays. -

drop down getting scrambled and rendering as a horizontal structure

Spry menu problem - CS6 Dreamweaver
I wonder if anyone can help me with my spry menu problem which I have with a fixed 960px wide horizonal menu bar that has 8 items in it. The sub-menus don't seem to display properly when you click on them in that some of the submenus only show up at the end of the menu bar itself in Explorer browsers 8/9. Does anyone know of any code I can apply to fix this problem? I am new to spry menu features and so any help would be very much appreciated.
Also validate the rest of the code in your pages to see if you have any critical errors that need fixing. For example, a missing doc type declaration might explain Spry failures.

As an FYI, Adobe abandonded the Spry Framework late last year, after CS6 was released because Spry drop-menus don't hold up well on touch screen devices. If you can't get satisfaction with Spry, try jQuery Superfish. It's a better menu system.

I purchased Microsoft Office for Mac through the Apple website.. I have downloaded all from the disk into my Mac, no problem with all the other Word etc, but Outlook is asking for the key number: I have put it in but its obviously not the right one...???? In the box with the disk came the product key, have put it in and it doesnt work. Please help..x
unfortunately - you can not. you can't even buy outlook by itself at microsoft's own website.
does it have to be outlook? maybe you can get away with using something else that's outlook compatible.
how about trying Thunderbird for Mac OS?
or maybe you can call apple and let them know you purchase the wrong version - they might give you a break and just pay the difference for the home and business version.
