Help make an email signature a callable link on mobile devices

My company currently has an e-mail signature that has our logo, website and phone numbers. This was created in InDesign, and saved as .png to insert as an image in outlook 'signatures'. I know how to make a hyperlink in ID, that can be active in a PDF, and I looked up how to make phone numbers callable the same way, again active in a pdf. BUT, you can't insert an interactive pdf in an e-mail signature. Can I save this as something that can be inserted as an e-mail signature and then clickable and callable from people's mobile devices?? Do I need to use a different Adobe program? Or must it be done within outlook?
Thanks!

Images can't have built-in links. That's all done in the underlying HTML code, or in your terms in Outlook itself. You seriously need to do some reading on basic web stuff.

  • Pdf page id link on mobile devices

    Hi,
    I created a link to a specific page in a PDF doc using the #pageid=... which works great on browsers but it doesn't work for mobile devices. Is there anyway to make the page id works on a mobile device like how it is on the browser (bringing users to a specific page in the pdf upon clicking)?
    Thanks for your help in advance.
    A.

    Are you using Reader on the mobile devices? At any rate, it's quite likely that this feature doesn't work on mobile devices (like many other ones), and there's probably not much that can be done about it...

  • How do you make movies sent to you tube accessible to mobile devices

    How do you make movies that are sent to you tube accessible to mobile devices

    hey there,
    Do you mean that you want to play some youtube videos on your mobile devices? If so, that would be really easy.
    As to most of the codec problem, a video converter can move away your troubles. And since almost of the current video converters can support all video format file input, you can use it in most codec cases.
    tips for you, most of the mobile devices support .mp4 best. In this case, if your device's name isn't in the output format list, you can just choose the output format as MPEG-4.
    here's the guide of the one i used to use, wish that can help you. Good luck~

  • How can I make an email signature with html

    I want to do what the question asks.
    When I put in the html it shows the code and not the links. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Add this:
    ?cc=[email protected]
    You can pre-populate any part of the email. Here's a list of examples: How to Use the Mailto Syntax - Examples

  • What is the best way to add multiple images with links into an email signature?

    I created an email signature with five linked images by:
    * creating new message
    • attached the image
    • adding link to the image
    • copied new email signature
    • under Preferences/Signature added the new signature
    It all works, but some of the emails bounced back. When we removed the images, the email went through.
    I  tried putting all the images into Photoshop and making it all one image, used the slice tool to create a link for each image and brought that single image into the signature, but that didn't work as separate links.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Bob.
    So what I should have done on my PC for all my files is gone to the File menu and used the Package command which would have converted it into a file with the images in it so they wouldn't need to be relinked.
    From now on I will only be working on Mac (I gave away my PC) but I'm sure I could use a friend's pc (or at a later point install Windows on my Mac). But to use the Package command on PC I need to actually have the images in the correct folder on the PC right?

  • Duplicate signatures in IOS mobil devices

    When I send an email using Microsoft Outlook 2011 to mobile devices people receive duplicate ssignature logos. To desktops no duplicates.
    This doesn't happened from Entourage, Snow Leopard. Is this issue caused by Outlook or Lion. Is there a solution better than Microsoft suggestion, which is to host images on a server and provide a link. This would be a big mess, because I have additional 6 thumbnails to social sites.
    Thanks,

    You could try using
    -Mobile Device-
    Before you could use 10 dots, but that doesn't seem to be working anymore with 10.7. It did with Outlook in 10.6. Anyone have any ideas why?

  • Digital Signatures for Mobile Devices

    We currently use smart cards that have our digital signatures and would like to have this transferred or be able to use on a mobile device.  Our forms currently require digital signatures, however, the person can't view the form (created in Livecycle designer ES2) from the mobile phone, therefore we need to upgrade to ES4.  Will we be able to use our current signatures using mobile, without having to use a signature created from Adobe?

    LiveCycle ES4 has Mobile Forms module which actually capable of rendering your existing XFA based forms as HTML5 based form which could be opened on Mobile devices as well.
    Mobile Form has Scribble signature for Mobile devices, the digital signature is not supported on Mobile devices.Check this : http://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/topics/mobile-forms-dev.html

  • Can you wrap an image with a link in an html email signature?

    When I cite a remotely hosted image in an html signature, and try to make that image a link, the link is ignored and the just the image is shown.
    e.g.:
    <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ubiquia/146019678805381" target="_blank">
    <img style=" position:absolute;
    height:30px;
    width:30px;
    left:172px;
    top:157.5px"
    src="http://png.findicons.com/files/icons/2779/simple_icons/48/facebook_48_black.png" alt="ubiquia facebook" moz-do-not-send="true"
    >
    </a>

    For each icon that you want to use in your email signature:
    locate icon on internet webpage - right-click on the icon and select 'Save Image as'. Save the icon to your computer in a suitable file.
    Then in Thunderbird
    insert > Image
    choose file - locate the saved icon on your computer
    click on Link tab and enter the www etc webpage link info
    click on OK to insert image with link.
    Codewise, where you have the actual icon you would need something stating where the icon is located:
    eg
    <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ubiquia/146019678805381" target="_blank">
    path to image saved on computer included in within <> </a>

  • Links on email signature

    I forgot how to add a link to my website to my email signature.

    It would be best if you used HTML to guarantee the conversion to a link. The auto conversion actually depends on the program viewing the email message, I believe. So, to make an HTML signature, see this hint: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050706181449478

  • Fixing Link in Email Signature

    One of the links (Facebook) I use in my email signature gets corrupted when I send mail and is wrong on the recipient's end.  How can I fix that?  I've re-checked the link in Mail Preferences and it is the correct one.  Thanks!

    This seems to work, it prompts the user to allow their web browser/client to allow the action to proceed, but it does work: <a href="skype:SKYPENAME?add">SKYPENAME</a>
    Just replace SKYPENAME with yours.
    If editing in Word, or similar, the link you want to add is just skype:SKYPENAME?add the above is the actual HTML that makes it work.
    CORRECTION: only works in html, but Gmail strips it out by the looks of it, which is disappointing!

  • I have changed the email signature on my iPhone, when composing a new email the signature is there, however when I am replying to an email it is not, how can I make sure that the signature is at the end of every email I send?

    I have changed the email signature on my iPhone, when composing a new email the signature is there, however when I am replying to an email it is not, how can I make sure that the signature is at the end of every email I send?

    Yes I know what you mean about it cluttering the thread and for personal emails it is better without the signature. However this relates to sending business emails from an iPhone so I need the signature present on every email.
    I can't find anything in Settings so I was hoping someone may have some knowledge/information/experience regarding this problem.

  • Creating a linked image in your email signature

    Since you cannot add a URL link to an image directly in the Prefs/Signature window, do the following:
    1. Open a new message window. Paste (or drag & drop) any suitable image. Highlight it.
    2. Go to Menu>Edit>Link>Add... and type or paste your URL link.
    3. Go to Preferences>Signatures and copy & paste the new linked image, along with any other info.
    4. Assign your new signature to your account(s).
    In my case, my email signature includes a "View my profile on Linkedin" button that people click on to go there.

    I use this method:

    I am trying to silence two of the three email accounts I have linked to my phone and can't seem to find a way. I can silence all or none?  I would be shocked if there was no solution to this problem?

    Don't think you can, it's all or nothing with email alerts.  You can make this suggestion to Apple here:
