Help making a video!

hey guys,
Pretty new to after effects, so bear with my noobness. I want to make a video of me shooting myself. So i know i need to take the video twice, once as myself messing up my room and the second of myself again...finding myself messing up my room, so i pull out my gun and shoot myself! Idea's not that great, just wanted to see if i can make it. So my question is:
How do i add myself two times on one video?
ok, im pretty lost with the idea, do i have to mask myself out on the first video and bring it to the second video...or use some other software to track myself...i don't know guys, i'm totally lost. I tried to find the tutorial but failed. So it would be great if someone gave me a link to a tutorial(video or written) or just tell me what to do in a reply. Any help will be highly appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

This is relatively simple compositing, as long as you shoot both shots completely locked off so that there is no camera movement (or change in lighting) and you're careful to not let the character in shot B cross over the areas of the shot that change in shot A.
You just overlay one shot on top of the other and use masks on the top layer to determine what parts of the underlying layer to show through.

OK, now that I've answered your question, I need to give you some very strong advice:
Don't just jump into the middle and try to use After Effects. Start at the beginning and work your way through the basic learning materials. Seriously. If you don't, you're going to be frustrated. If you do start at the beginning and learn the simple things first, then you'll be able to figure out answers to questions like the one you just asked without anyone's help.

if your source is miniDV/Standard - yes.
if your source is 720p or iFrame - no.
in terms of speed and simplicity - iM09 is 'better'.
in terms of options and feature - FCE is by far superior.
note: iM09 is no 'upgrade' of your version, but a from ground off new app.
another note: FCE has a very steem learning curve, but after managing that is a fantastic tool!

Guys please help I was making a video project on I movie then I uploaded it to itunes then I deleted the app and re downloaded it is there a way to retrieve the project ( I still have the videos and photos)

On my ipad in the application iMovie, yesterday I tapped on that box on top right with an arrow pointing upward, then selected save to itunes. After that I deleted the application and re downloaded the update. And I can't find the project and when I tap import from itunes I find nothing, is there a way to retrieve that project? Considering that I have the videos and photos stored on the ipad, only the project is missing

I am making a video out of still images. I would like to start zoomed in on a certain image and have the video show the image as it zooms out. I would like the speed of the zoom to be the same from start to finish. How can i achieve this?

Yes! As long as you don't delete your project files/library, you'll be fine. When you install the full version, it might create a new library, go to your movies folder or wherever your current library is and just double click it to open it.

I need help making the USB install of os Tiger.
The drive is having trouble reading the install disc I own so I am trying to make a USB install of it.
I wantto install from the usb not install to it to be clear.
Things I have!
X1 8gig sandisk flash drive
1 Macbook white 1.8 ghz Intel
1 Pc with Macdrive 7
1 Install disc that seems to have trouble being read in the drive > few marks on the disc and the mac DVD drive make lots of noise reading it but
It will go to Disk utilities.
Seems to be a bug in Tiger and restore doesn’t seem to work as in I can’t drag and drop a source to the restore the DVD to the flash drive.
I already tried only 1 time to copy the DVD to the formatted flash drive using Macdrive and it read it as a bootable drive but the apple simple came up
And then I got a the error (Can’t find driver for this platform error APCH or something like that.
I have a torrent download of OS x 10.4.6 as well just in case some files are corrupted > I own the disk so it’s not illegal.
I am new to mac but long time user of PC.

Ok ..you need another Mac to make this work!
you just use another mac even a old one like g4 to make a restore to a flash drive that you have formatted and verified.

Im trying to add photos to my Itunes library but every time I go to the file and add it...it just doesnt go into my library....also when I play videos the audio doesnt work. I need some help please!

You can't add photos to your library. iTunes is only used to set up the photo preference choose the location from which photos are added to the iPod. Have a look at the tutorial: Transferring Pictures to Your iPod

I please need help with embedding videos from youtube. I do this via the Web panel (not the video panel) and copied the embed code on Youtube and pasted it into my Indesign CS6 (autoplay activated). However, when testing this on my iPad, only a white box appears and I cannot press a play button.

Are you sure, that you changed code from youtube?
Code from youtube is:
src="//www.youtube.com/embed/KulFWmvbEu4
but you need to change it to
src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KulFWmvbEu4
For us, best result is to embed video via:
menu Object > Include HTML (don't know exact english name of menu), paste iframe code with correct http link and then it works.

I don't think it can get much easier. But remember that you

You can use iPhoto for the import. iLife apps are integrated. From within iMovie you have direct access to iTunes for adding music, and iPhoto for photos and videos in the iPhoto library.
Or you can use the Image Capture application for the import if you prefer placing such imports into manually created folders and not using iPhoto.
