Help Me. About Buying iPhone.

Hey Mac lovers. Lately i have been chaning my life from PC to Mac. And i LOVE mac so much. With all of my love for Mac and how informed i stay, i really want to get a iPhone. See the thing is, im under 18, so i cant start my own account with AT&T. Now, im trying to convice my mom to let me get one. If you have any good ideas how to help i will greatly appreasate (sp) it. And also, i would like to know what you all think about the iPhone. The good AND the bad.

I've been a longtime Nokia user before buying iphone. This is by far the best phone I've EVER had. It's so nice to have a device that is mac native, instead of one made to be compatible. Very easy to use, very useful--so much stuff all in one. And I'm a big fan of Apple service, far better than any other tech company I've needed to access for help.
But, as far as mom goes . . . I would definitely financially contribute to the purchase of the phone and the plan. Hopefully, you already have a responsible history with a current phone and plan.

Maximize iPhone Battery (iOS7):
1) Turn off Airdrop: Control Center >AirDrop > Off
2) Limit background app refresh. Turn it off for applications such as Google/Facebook.Settings > General > Background App Refresh
3) Turn off automatic updates: Settings > iTunes & App Store > Updates and Apps (off)
4) Unneccessary Location Services: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Off (uncheck as needed)
5) Turn off Paralax: Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion
6) Siri, and her 'raise to speak.' Turn it off: Settings > General > Siri > Raise to Speak
7) Exclude items from Spotlight search as needed: Settings > General > Spotlight Search
8) Remove unneccessary notifications: Settings > Notification Center > None (per app basis)
9) Make sure auto-brightness is on, or reduce the brightness to 25% or less if desired.Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness
10) Use Still backgrounds only: Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness> Choose Wallpaper
11) Fetch email instead of "Push": Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Fetch New Data >Push(off) & Fetch every 15 minutes
12) Disable LTE if needed: Settings > Cellular > Enable 4G/LTE (OFF)
13) Reduce Autolock: Settings > General > Auto-Lock > 1 Minute
14) Disable Vibrations with Ring: Settings > Sounds > Vibrate on Ring (off)
15) Close Applications regularly: Double Tap Home Button > Swipe up on App to close

The only person that can help you is the prior owner with Apple ID and password.
Without that it is completely worthless.
If you can't get the Apple ID and password then return for a refund of your money.

This is a user forum. You aren't talking to Apple here.
Return your iPhone for a refund. There is no way to remove the Activation Lock. Apple won't get involved.

I downloaded app rxmindme prescription and it said it downloaded. I cant find it on my comp to find out how to use it. It said it works with windows and iphone. Im buying iphone soon but I dont know why I cant use this app till I get it, any help please

I found Rxmindme 02.11.00 ipa, (ios App) in my computer but when I try to open it the itune program opens. Apps for the iPhone do not run on Windows. You will need the iPhone to run the app.

Thanks FelipeV for your reply but i apple said they dont sell iphone who are not nationals as they need proof of address and your local ID and it happens in all apple stores around the world and even i cant buy online coz i have also show them a address and ID of any country where apple official launch the iphone. As far as I know there is no US cell carrier that allows pay as you go with an iPhone. You can purchase an unlocked iPhone 4S at an Apple Store and try it with a non-supported carrier.

You must put in the required information. If you do not have it, you must get it from the original owner of the phone. If you have forgotten your iCloud password, you can reset it at:

There is no such thing as an activation "bypass". Activation Lock is a security feature. It wouldn't be that secure is you could bypass it, wouldn't it?

While it is against the TOU of these boards to speculate on future products/updates what Thomas said is right: FCPX is quite a new product and it doesn't make any sense to drop it now.
The only thing that MIGHT get dropped at a certain point is support for older hardware/OS as FCP X progresses.
