Help Me! Apache Won't run even there is no error

Hi All,
I have successfully installed Oracle 9ias on Linux RH 7.1.
And there are some errors such as default virtual host overlap, etc. I Have Managed to solve or error. until there is no error at all (in error_log or in Jserv.log )
So as a result i notice that after i started the apache using apachectl start , and i already get the message "httpd started. " without errors in all log, i still can not access my apache server.
While doing so i examine the unix processes (using process management), from that i know that my httpd process is down by it self.
Is any one can help me...please...

Remove the ram module and boot your computer. It sould beep at startup without ram, otherwise it's most likely a dead motherboard. Keep us posted.

How to continue the loop even there is an error in plsql

Hi Folks,
I am using function in my sql query.i want to write this query in a cursor loop.
the thing is function is not updatable and it errors out for few records. now when i use the same function in cursor and loop it,it will stop the loop when it errors out.
can you guys please help me out if there is any way to continue the loop even there is an error in plsql .

My ipod shuffle 1st generation won't restore. There is an error that reads "The ipod cannot be restored. An unknown error has ocurred (1442)". The lights blink orange and green simultaneously...and it just won't restore. help?

So it's the little thin ipod with no screen...that has the usb thing and the landyard. Whenever I try restoring it it tries to restore and then a message pops up. Mac OS 10.6.4 won't install - Claims there's an error preventing Install

I have tried every which way to install update 10.6.4 either via software update or manually downloading the update and even manually downloading 10.6.4 combo, all to no avail. Once the download and update is complete, either I get the update box showing a large yellow triangle with an exclamation mark therein and the text "THE INSTALLATION FAILED The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance" or i get as far as "The computer needs to restart" and I press OK. The computer then goes direct to the default wallpaper and runs through package verification only to tell me that "There is an error - update failed to install" I have run Disk repair and have started from the install disk and run disk repair from there, all to no avail. Help would be apperciated.

I'm using a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.6.7. I've just updated iTunes to the latest version 10.2.2 but it keeps quitting unexpectedly upon opening it. I've tried deleting the Genius information, reinstalling it, as well as even reinstalling the latest Snow Leopard update but nothing seems to work. What can I do?

Help! My D400 Won't Boot And There Are No Error Codes!

I put a Lenovo IdeaCentre D400 WHS into service 9 months ago and have had no real problems. I've only had to reboot it a couple times. This past month it has "disappeared" from our family network twice. Each time it returned to normal operation after shutting it down with the power button (4 seconds) and unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds and then reversing the process to start it back up.
Last night it "disappeared" from our network again. This time it would not start back up after powering it down. When I press the power button to start it, the power LED lights up, then two blue LEDs and a red LED flicker for a millisecond, then the disk LED lights up for 12-13 seconds, then it (disk LED) flashes two times and never comes on again. The power LED remains lit but no other lights are on. Initially, I hear the fan(s) at high speed for about 5 seconds and then they idle down to slow (quiet). I hear what sounds like the disks (original 1TB drive and added 2TB WD Green drive) spinning and that sound doesn't change other than some quiet rhythmic ticking (every second or so). At no time have I had any indication that either of the drives could be having problems.
The unforgivable thing is that I have some time-sensitive important files on the WHS that I hadn't taken the time to back up. I mistakenly thought they were as safe there as anywhere else I had available at the time.
Can someone please help in the form of suggestions or direction?
Whether I can get the D400 running again or not, what are the methods, if any, of copying the files off the hard drives that were married inside the WHS? Will any basic disk recovery tools such as GetDataBack work on these spanned drives?

Help: Athlon XP won't run at proper bus speed on kt3 ms6380

Ok, I'm a little confused now but i pulled an AMD athlon 1300 a1300aps3b (200mhz bus) out of the computer. It was working, but i didn't note the speed.
Then i went to test an amd athlon XP 1700 ax1700dmt3c which i had laying around. I thought that this proc was bad months ago. It didn't work when i put it in until i reset the bios config.
The board is an MSI KT3 ULTRA MS-6380e:
Now it works, but runs at 1100mhz (100x11), and it should be 1467 (133x11). Changing the fsb in the bios to 133 (from 100) results in no post. Changing the multiplier does nothing. On top of that i can't get the other proc to post anymore either
Any ideas? does this sound like a motherboard problem, a processor problem, or do i just not have the config correct?
Hmm, on top of this, there seems to be some gibberish in the bios when i scroll through voltage settings.
So is it more common for a mobo to fry a proc or vice versa? I would like to test out this stuff with another system.

What more information is there to provide about the CPU's besides what i've already given?
The cpu was use to work in the computer was an AMD athlon a1300aps3b, 1300mhz, 200mhz fsb, 1.7v, 256k cache.
The cpu that i swapped in and that ran succesfully but only at 1100mhz was a amd athlon XP ax1700dmt3c 1700mhz, 266fsb, 256k cache.
The ram is KVR266X64C25/512 DDR 266bus speed.
The i've tried 3 different power supplies, some older no name brand ones, and a newer xclio 500 watt. I've tested the rails on the psu's and they are good.
I swapped out the geforce 4200 for a small pci video card to make sure it wasn't consuming too much power. I can still boot with the xp 1700, but at only 1100mhz, and i can't boot with the 1300 at all.
Nothing else in the system matters because i've taken everything off and i'm running the system outside of the case on a rubber matt; to make sure it's not a short.
I did notice that the system will boot an then immediately shut off if the heat sink isn't fully clamped on or flush. But i've got that sorted out as well. I have read all the stickies and guides.
So, does this information help you any further? Can a bad processor mess up a motherboard? Or, if it's the motherboard, should i not try another processor in it for fear of frying it?

ITunes won't run even in the safe mode

Installed the latest iTunes. It freezes all the time and when closed won't start up again even though it eats up the memory. Itried running it in safe mode and other tips but nothing is working. It now stopped working even in the safe mode. Any kind of solution available?

Using system restore can create problems as well as solving them. I have seen system restore destroy a Firefox setup. The installation may be OK but to be sure perform a clean install

If the new profile works, you can copy selected data such as bookmarks and passwords to the new profile. Please Help - iTunes installer won't run on double-click

I am facing a reload of Win 7 x64 tonight if I don't get this fixed. When I run the installer all it does is create a temp folder and put an .msi in there. Nothing else happens. No errors or messages, no hung processes. nothing.
I've completely uninstalled itunes and every apple product. I've tried QuickTime independently and it does the same thing. The Windows installer is clean with no Apple entries. I initially got the message "itunes + QuickTime have an invalid signature" when trying to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2 which prompted me to completely remove everything. My iPhone4 is coming Thursday so I've got to get this working!!

I had this same problem. I followed the instructions on how to use MSCONFIG listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1275
In my case, iTunes & Quicktime were already uninstalled, so I just skipped the step about checking "qtask" & "iTunes Helper."
I used MSCONFIG to re-boot in selective start up mode. Then, I fully shutdown Virus protection. The iTunes installer ran after doing this.

Photoshop Elements 8 stopped working, won't run even after reinstall

I'm using Vista. I installed a couple weeks ago and it's been working fine until today. On startup I keep getting the message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I worked my way through most of the troubleshooting guide and when I couldn't find the preferences file to rename I figured it might be "lost" and I should just uninstall and reinstall, but that didn't fix it, it still won't start. I really need this program and it was a lot of money (for me). Getting frustrated! Anyone?

I am having the same problem and tried calling tech support was on hold for an hour and a half its
driving me crazy trying to figure it out. Did an online chat which was no help what so ever.

Help! iTunes won't run after 7.3.1 installation

This is a first for me... I've never had a problem with iTunes.
I did the upgrade/ update and now I can't open iTunes.
I get the following message: "iTunes cannot run because it has detected a problem with your audio configuration.
I tried to uninstall iTunes and reinstall it... no dice.
Anyone got a way around this one?

Hi Scott,
Since iTunes uses QuickTime to play audio/video content in iTunes, that error message most likely indicates that there's a problem with your Quicktime installation.

Your Mac will create a new Activity Monitor .plist file when you can successfully launch that application.

4s apps won't run even after re-downloading

I have a 4s. I used to have the 4. When I used the 4, I had no problem running apps. Now that I've upgraded my phone, some of my previous apps and new apps have an issue. One or more apps will not open. When I tap the screen, the app opens for a split second then closes. I've tried reloading the app which makes it work again but then another app will fail. This is going on and on. Do I have a virus or defiective phone? It has never been tampered with in any way.

Mbp won't run (even without battery)

Hi, all.
I noticed a few days ago, my mbp shut down when batt life was at 30%. Battery is on the way out I thought. But now I'm getting worried as mbp will not switch on at all. Even when connected to the power adaptor, battery in or out. The battery indicators say full power. It's a 2008 model, the last before the unibody came out (yup that was gutting!).
According to other threads it should still work with the power supply if the battery is dead. Is this correct? When I push the power button it (mechanically) sounds like it will start, then all is dead after 5 seconds.
Could it be the battery, or does it sound more serious, I have tried the cmd/ctrl power and pram reset
