Holding down the shift key while iTunes is opening. That will bring up the 'choose iTunes library' dialog. Select 'Choose LIbrary' from the choices and navigate to your music folder and iTunes music folder.

Need help in downloading and installing the current Adobe Reader version! I am running Windows Vista. I receive an error message that the current version is trying to update version 8.1. During the install efforts, the program locks up @ the 96% complete. Any ideas?

From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

AppleStore won't help customers download Mavericks, what to do?

I read on Macworld and the Missing Manual, to name two places, that AppleStore would download a copy of Mavericks for their customers. I just went to one and they won't do it. I don't have the bandwidth to do so at home, what to do? What I need is to download the Mavericks installer onto a portable hard drive and then transfer the installer from the hard drive to my new iMac.

As a long time Apple user/admirer/fan, I have to say the employees in the AppleStore can be unhelpful, glueless, and smug. Or maybe it's just where I live, in New York. Whether they're busy or not is not the point. They flat out told me they don't help customers download the installer unless I lug the iMac to them, which is impractical and a stupid suggestion to make. They didn't offer for me to go to the Genius Bar. All they did was to tell me what they "don't" do and not how to solve my problem.

I have Lr4 which does not open my raw file from a D4s (on loan). So I thought, its about time that I subscribe to Lr5 and CS6 via CC. Adobe is checking my educational credential.
Meanwhile, an idea came to me about a freetrial whilst I wait for them to check me out! Secondly, can you convert these files to DNG in Lr4. I tried but does not work for me.

I've learned something. New. This must be recently changed. That last time I clicked on a Link I though was a dmg file and turned out it was and exe file my Macs wouldn't allow me to do so. But haven't tried recently everytime and exe file comes up I cancel. I gues I am used to the time everytime a Virus or some other nasty was downloaded it was packaged in and exe file and Macs owuldn't allow it. I suppose with the INtel guts now they can no longer refuse to download.

thx for your suggestion ..but i did try to skip my code..but i am sure if u guy understand what i am trying to ask ..so i try to show my all program for u guy better undrstand my problem ...the first three paragraph of code i hope u guy could focus on it ....i try ask the user to input the cd`s title to our insert list by using a function call readString( ) and i use this method to ask the user what cd they want to be delete from the list ...but it doesn`t work when i try to perform the delete cd funtion. At first, i think it should be my deleteCd( ) problem ..but i do some testing on it..it works fine if i pass a String directly to my function instead of using readString() function to perform ...therefore, i am sure my delete function working fine....i am thinking if it is my readString() problem make my deletion does not perform well...thx for u guy help
